The absolute worst provider I have ever dealt with. I ported my number from RedPocket Mobile this last Sunday 10-3-21. The port would not go through it took four days. I bought the newest BLU G91 Pro smartphone where Cricket IS LISTED ON THE BLU WEBSITE as a compatible provider. My phone finally started working properly yesterday 10/5/21. I call a family member this morrning. Right after I hung up I receive a text from Cricket saying the phone was not compatible and service had been terminated. Ok, so I go to the store in Great Falls, MT I am mad at this point, but was not just rude. The guy basically tell me the phone is NOT compatible and cannot be reactivated on their network. Really? So, I said ok I want a full refund for the service seeing how I have not had any. I was told I would have to call. I call Cricket and am pretty much told they do not GIVE REFUNDS Really? That guy needs to find him another job, and AT&T needs to shut cricket down. I worked at AT&T OK, and have forgotten more about phones than you will ever know. I also own a business. T-Mobile had it handled in thirty minutes. THE WORST I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH ZERO STARS. Oh, and my credit card company has already initiated a chargeback Cricket. STAY FAR AWAY! My new T-Mobile business line works just fine.

I purchased a cell phone online from Cricket. I was required to pay 3 months of phone service up front in order to get the phone at a discounted rate. I also added on $8 phone insurance. Towards the end of the 1st month and again towards the end of the 2nd month, I received an alert that if I did not pay, my service would be disconnected. There was never any explanation of why I was getting warnings for nonpayment when I had paid in advance. I received a message at the beginning of this month (June) that I owed $16. After looking into my account, there was no breakdown or explanation of what the $16 was for, but I made an assumption that it was for two months of phone insurance. I paid the $16 via Apple Pay and the payment shows on my Apple Pay account. However, the next day, my Cricket service was suspended. After speaking with 4 different reps, one of which was a manager, I was able to pay the $16 through the fourth rep and get my service restored around 3:15pm. I had to explain my situation 4 separate times, used my 15 minute break and 30 minute lunch on the phone with Cricket. They just repeated back EVERYTHING I said to them and the first two reps and manager I spoke with did not help AT ALL. Not only did they claim they did not receive my payment, but they were trying to charge me $5 reactivation fee and a $4 service fee on top of the $16. I feel like they went above and beyond to try to get every dollar they could from me. I have gone 15 hours without service today, even though I already paid for the whole month. If they are going to force a customer to pay for service up front, the additional features added on at the time of purchase should be included so that an $8 phone insurance fee doesn't get my $60 service disconnected. The extemely spotty service at times added on to today's issue has shown me that I made a HUGE mistake by switching to Cricket and I feel that this company is deceptive and a rip off!

Cricket is a scam
July 12, 2018

I just switched to cricket from metro and the very first day I got my phone telemarketers been calling me all day and night. I contacted cricket numerous times and they keep saying theres nothing they can do and keep referring me to the FCCs do not call registry. Cricket is a scam because there is something they can do, first off they disabled the customer choices and controls on their website so that we cant opt out of all this advertising, and second, theyre sharing and selling our information to third parties. I found this list on crickets website, (attached) that lists hundreds of companies that cricket is sharing our information with. It also says to opt out from advertisers who collect information on behalf of cricket wireless check on the box and apply. As you can see on my photo, there is no box to check to opt out, I guess they disabled this feature too. Cricket is basically invading our privacy, making money off our information, and have disabled us from having a choice to opt out of all this. There is something cricket can do, which is enable the customer choices and controls, and allow us to opt out of these hundreds of companies theyre selling our information to, simple. Also what company doesnt have a corporate number? Metro has a corporate number we can call, why doesnt cricket. The call center reps are $#*!ed and need to be retrained and the phone I bought is wack, it doesnt even have video calls but on their website in the description it says it did have video calls. Switching to cricket was a big mistake and I will be going back to metro, Ill never do business with a company that doesnt allow me to control my privacy, and I will be suing cricket for the money they have made off my information. Thats the kind of things this stupid company should be thinking about, I guess they wont learn until they go down like mark zuckerberg, then theyre gonna act like they care to let us control our privacy.

Corporate crap
February 24, 2025

Their customer service is gone way downhill you try to call them and make you wait on hold forever. You try to text them and they got a robot that asked you 50 questions before they let you talk to anyone why can't a corporation this large afford to pay for real employees to deal with people's problems and why can't they afford to pay people who speak proper English to take phone calls the hell's going on also my phone's been not having service for about a week am I going to get compensated for this
