I have tried to finish watching a certain movie for a couple of days. It kicks me out and brings me back to the home page. This is pure waste of time and energy and aggravation to the highest level. What can I do to get this resolved!?
This website sucks so bad, it makes my beer taste bad! It's not the commercials though like everyone says. It's the constant freezing and crashing and it sucks because i just want to watch one of my favorite shows, Cleaners, and Crackle is one of the only places I can watch it for free.
Each time I tried to use Crackle and decided to exit, it will NOT STOP!
I have to pull the plug and wait a bit and then reboot to get back in Roku.
Absolute garbage!
It is deleted from my programming. Advise people to avoid the Crackle site.
I feel for one of their 2week free. Trials and after a week I signed out and did not use again. Some how they charged me thru Roku and I made a dispute with card company.
I don't think you can find anyone there with authority to talk too! So beware of watching free.

First complain to roku, because crackle is working great on its intended devices. Then sell your roku because it is a feeble attempt to get into the streaming market trend. You can buy a new xbox or ps3 for the same price, which both have no issues playing any old or new streaming channels. If they do find even the smallest glitches they are fixed within days or less. Just because something is a new trend, or in some people's cases because it seems cheaper than cable at first, does not mean its going to be amazing or frugal. I'm sure the designer of roku is laughing at anyone who was suckered into buying it while counting your money at the same time. If you're not tech savvy then ask advice from somebody who knows about current technology BEFORE wasting your money on it. If you think you're tech savvy and own a roku, then you are a walking contradiction!
I have watched Pluto, tubi and now Sony crackle and I have to say the commercial breaks are a issue with all of them. However sony crackle is probably the worse thus far I have seen. There commercials breaks are like stopping about every six to ten seconds. So 1:50sec commercial turns into a longer break etc. You can't seem to get through a whole scene before the next commercial comes up. So at the end of the movie your frustrated and not because it was a bad movie. Its mainly because of the commercial issues. So Sony C u need to step up ur game from that stand point. Just speaking my opinion from my point of view. Whats an issue for me. There were movies also watched where the picture quality when in and out. The picture would be clear for a bit and then it would become distorted. This would happen through out the movie most times. Sony has a really good selection of movies, but its not enjoyable when these problems take away from enjoying them.
I used to love crackle, because I could always go back and watch reruns of what I grew up with in an urban neighborhood. Our shows were Sanford and Son, Good Times, and The Jefferson's along with a few others. Since these shows are no longer available I do not watch crackle anymore. Just about everything other than All In The Family is for 80s generation and up. What about us older ones who enjoyed our childhood shows?
I love that it's free and that it has some very good shows from years gone by. My problem is with the App, I suppose. For some reason I see an entire library on my PC but when I go to my smart TV I cannot find the movie.
Example: I want to watch Stripes so I add it to my watch list and go to my smart TV. But the app not only doesn't show my updated watch list, it doesn't show Stripes in the lineup at all.
That is my only complaint. It plays smooth with Road Runner Turbo. Thanks Crackle, I have been sending tons of people your way.
All I can say about this site, is that it has a good interface. Navigation is very easy.
Too bad nothing is available there. There is 1 (ONE!) show listed in the show guide of this site, and it is, like Trenches, that I went there to see, unavailable.
With your "revised" crackle channel, i have removed it from my roku line up. It is a terrible interface. You give me information I DONT want, and dont provide me with what I need to make my decisions.

It is beyond me how in 2017 a company like Sony can put out a streaming app that hangs up constantly and apparently cannot buffer on a 60 mbit connection that runs Sling, Prime and Netflix flawlessly, without the slightest hiccup. I am talking about the Firestick version of the app. A complete waste of time and an impressive show of incompetence.
I sat to watch a movie and got 2 comercial ads... then after that on every 10 minutes you get 7 to 8 comercials. That's more comercial than the normal tv channel at home... don't worth the time to watch a movie... you'll be 3 plus hours trying to finished it because of so many comercial ads... trash app
Twice now I am stuck in a commercial loop at the end of a movie. The movie starts at the beginning. Then when I try to find wherever the hell the movie stopped it gets stuck showing commercials over and over. It will show a couple of seconds of the movie then two or three commercials.
I get it, they need to show commercials, but this loop crap is bull$#*!. Fix it Crackle, because right now, you SUCK!
#1 They replay the same commercials over and over and over again at very often random times. I mean same ones. Same ones. Same ones. Same ones. Same ones.
#2 It's the worst streaming ever, seriously streaming speed and quality in Europe 16 years ago was *******% better
I would never recommend watching crackle, Especially if you enjoy watching a few episodes of a show in a row. Your head will start spinning from the same commercials playing over and over again, and I did not enjoy constant loading breaks, and 'oops something went wrong', and constant 404 ERRORS. Pure trash of a company. Less than 1 star.
Crackle has some good movies, but every 10mins they have about 3mins of commercials. So, if you are desperate enough to put up with the commercials, you can find movies worth watching. I'm not that desperate (usually).
I am getting sound but no picture. I have tried several times to get help but to no avail. I guess I will never be able to watch anything. I have been trying to watch Walker Texas Ranger with no luck. Anyone else having this problem. Thanks for nothing crackle.
Why so many commercials over and over and over? Adam Brody should move Startup to a premiums channel since it is too high quality for a low class streamer like Crackle. Even a regular network would be better since the show is that great.
I have a Smart TV. I called to see how to get the access code. They refused to tell me. I suspected something was wrong. I tried to call Crackle 3 times and yet to get to talk to somebody. Thanks for the reviews from everybody!
Crackle doesn't have the best selection of movies, but there are enough that I WOULD use the service IF it weren't for the incessant commercials. I understand services like Crackle make money off advertisements, but don't the Crackle executives read reviews of their site? The commercials are so frequent that the viewing experience is ruined--which means I'd rather NOT watch a movie than be rudely jarred out of entertainment-mode with garish, tacky, too-frequent commercials. Business people remark often that time is money. If they believe this, then they insult us by wasting our valuable time with commercial-overload. Better to pay for a movie, enjoy the 80 minutes, and get to bed, than sit through the insulting gibberish the ad companies try to push down my throat. And the irony is whatever product I DO happen to catch from an intrusive ad, I have such a negative feeling about I'm SURE not to buy it. Enough ads!
I go to the channel on my Roku and it shows an AD screen for a tv show and just closes and goes back to the main Roku screen! Very disappointing! Hope it gets fixed soon or I'm going to delete the channel!
