Crackle

Crackle is absolutely the worst streaming service I've ever used. It almost always stops in the middle of a movie, and if you can re-start it at all it starts over from the beginning. Even the commercials freeze!

Watching a movie is a nightmare, it often freezes and one has to start over again, meaning from the very beginning of the movie because forwarding does not work. The only items that work excellently without problems are the many commercials. Worst streaming service that I know of.

Wow. I can't get through a single movie without it crashing at least 4 - 6 times. And each time you restart, you have to fast forward from the beginning. Unwatchable, really.

Don't know what happened to Crackle, it used to be a rather good channel. Maybe a two hour movie, now seems like 2 and 1/2 or three. I'm sure they need the commercials in order to provide free movies and television, it just seems excessive and about the same as regular network t. V. Watched Inception (lost track of who was dreaming in each level), watched Jupiter Ascending (liked it, just too many. 30 second spots at 7 ads each break). There are so few free channels with good movies, I hope they don't go paid because I wouldn't pay them. Just like Hulu, when they went paid; I said goodbye.

Awful service, worse than TV. If you try to continue watching where you left off the day before it usually goes back 4 scenes. If you fast forward you will immediately have to watch another 6 commercials. Sometimes after already watching those commercials another 5 ads pop up. Its the same propaganda political ads over and over without balanced audio so if you don't mute it right away you'll be in for a treat. There are other free streaming services like TUBI that are so much better. Tubi doesn't even have commercials. As soon as I'm done watching startup I'm deleting this dumpster fire crackle app

Ive been using Crackle for years. Yes it has a lot of commercials, so does TV. I got rid of cable and don't want to pay for Netflix. On Windows 10 it works great. You want no ads and free, go to Putlocker or Coke and Popcorn and get virus' and terrible popups that freeze your stuff. I wish they had more content but its good for free. The Dead Rising Movies are pretty good for original content. Maybe the console experience is different. I say if you can make something better for free please do and share it. If not, then stop complaining.

People are complaining a lot about the ADs and only pointing out the bad, let's actually focus on what Crackle is, it provides you movie and tv shows at no cost, just sign up and go. I was on crackle when it first launched, video quality and ads were of poor quality, but they did have content I liked sometimes, over time the video quality has greatly improved and yes ads are a bit "irritating" but they are offering things for free, and they get paid by selling ads. They're accomplishing it, and as with anything, rome wasn't built in a day but two years ago to today, its now feeling like they're getting their model down pretty well, and I'm more and more impressed.

Good service, its free, it works and they do have content others may not and sometimes its easy to launch the app on my tv and watch something off their service.

Guess I agree with another reviewer, the site does fine with no delays or breakup. It's not Netflix but very good for a free service. I'm going direct, from computer to Internet without any Roku, Chromecast or special apps. I miss a full screen, but smaller works fine on a large monitor. I have a slow Internet, about 15mb download. Since I like action movies, this will last for some time. Looked at some of the TV and they worked fine also. Crackle seems like a good site with many fun entertainment options.

Used crackle for quite some time now enjoyed it, recent changes in your format and navigation options is horrendous males this program completely non user friendly tried for about 2 hrs to navigate remove titles from watch layer list read from of movie prior to selecting seems like your getting us to watch what you want not what the viewers want i have deactivated and removed from my roku list hope you fix this I'll miss the selections you had

It's too bad too because there are a lot more good movies than on Netflix. But you can't watch them! I am starting to wonder if it's too old technology to be compatible with Windows 10. The worst is that the movie just stops running, leaving you with a screen shot that doesn't move. Re-booting the site doesn't help. The adds would be all right if it wasn't for this. (You can always turn off the sound and look a Facebook or check your e-mail for awhile.)
