Returned a dress that was so cheap it irritated by skin. The sizes are off. They put return under the dress but failed to state it can only be returned for a store credit. I've been waiting a week since returning a dress that cost $966.00 Not able to speak to anyone! Put on hold for almost 30 minutes and hung up on.
I bought a dress from couture candy as a gift to my daughter. I received it on August 13 and gave it to my daughter the first of this month. The dress does not look like the one in the pic, it's not fully beaded, it's glitter. Not even sequins. She tried to exchange it on Sept. 4 and they have a strict 14 day return. So... bad for us that I held it until I saw her to give it as a gift (she lives in another town), but bad on them for not waiving a week in such circumstances. Nowadays, it seems customer service is in the garbage. That's what I get for dealing with such a company. #lessonlearned
Thanks to Peachy A who assisted my wife and I in ensuring that the return of a dress we ordered was processed expeditiously so that a store credit could be granted to place another new order for a dress needed asap that my wife wanted for our son's wedding. Peachy A stuck with us until she confirmed that the new dress was sent out for delivery. We should have it just in time. We have no words to thank Peachy A for being concerned and reassuring.
Was looking for a mother of the groom's dress and was thrilled to find this one in several colors. Once received I was not disappointed. Just like in the photos, even more elegant due to the beautiful lacework. It falls at the ankle but can be shortened.I'm 5'7" & weigh 190; the 1x size fit nicely w/ elastic waistband.
Great online experience, true to size. The dress is absolutely gorgeous, but... there is lots of glitter and my sensitive skin can't tolorate it. It may be ok for someone else, but I will have to return or maybe even exchange.
I bought 3 dresses going to keep one paid extra for delivery, none if tge dresses fit. I was told i can get full refund as liong it was received within 5 days contracted them and they changed the whole story
Please be aware that their "refund" policy is store credit only; they don't provide a return address label for the customer to benefit from their reduced shipping rates and if you return a dress and use the store credit, the purchase is final sale. Essentially, if you purchase a dress from Couture Candy, you will have to buy a dress from them. The store credit is only good for 6 months.
Site is a joke. They are in the business of extorting restocking fees from you. That's what they do.
Return policy obscure, hidden, not clear... buy, then request a refund, then prepare for lengthy negotiations to try to get them to be reasonable. Absolutely absurd customer service. Nighty nighty couture candy, days are numbered.
I spent a good couple hours with my mom and sister on various computers trying to get 2 of the same dress in our cart for my wedding. On every computer it would say "5 in stock". We would go to check out, the whole process, only to see that none were available. We were ultimately able to get 1 dress, not 2. Knowing that these are non-refundable its so frustrating. Someone from customer service called us but the line was so messed up that we couldn't hear a thing she said and couldn't get in touch with anyone when we called back. We won't be coming back.
Received the order within 1 day of request. Tried on same day, didn't fit. Immediately contacted Customer Service via email per the online policy. No response. After 5 straight days of emailing and also leaving 3 voice mails at the posted phone number, still no response. I finally had to file a dispute with my credit card company and then I heard from Customer Service. However, had to send the dress back at my own expense via FedEx with a Required Signature, along with 8 photos documenting that the dress was in the shape it was received, and still with tags. Poor Customer Service and Horrible Return Policy Procedures. Will never shop there again. If they really care about good service, they should buy something from Dillards. Dillard's shopping experience is exemplary - and how every company should take care of, and value, their customers. Customers are the reason for a company's existence.
I have sent 2 emails requesting a RETURN AUTHORIZATION, and have not received any response. I received the dress on Saturday, April 10th, tried it on, it did not fit, and immediately sent an email to following the Return Policy that is stated online. I would like to send the dress back to get a full refund since it did not work.

I bought my dress on the 26th september 2021, was charged over $100 for courier shipping as its international but my order was sent by postal services, total rip off and very misleading! I still do not have my order, no one can give me tracking details till date and I am being given excuses for my refund! Never ever again will I use this site. I still cant believe they have refused and havent even bothered to try and supply any form of tracking! I want my money and not a store credit or i will report this to the authorities!
The return policy and service is the absolute worst. This company is a rip off. I paid extra to return my dress so they would get it within their 5 day return requirement (who only gives five days!) and then they said they gave me a store credit which I never received because I did not even have an account with them. So then when I called they said they could open an account but in order to reactivate the credit I would lose 50% of it. So I feel completely taken advantage of and they have their dress back in perfect condition. I did my part. They do not do theirs. Do not buy from this company!
I absolutely love this dress - it is just as pictured and will be perfect for my son's wedding. After trying it on again, I've come to realize that the sheer sleeves are too tight to wear for an entire day. I would like to EXCHANGE the current dress (Size 6) for a larger size (Size 8 or 10). The Couture Candy website says to send them an email and a customer service rep will contact me with procedures to accomplish the trade. I have received no correspondence from them and am extremely worried.
This jumpsuit arrived in a decent time frame. Not as fast as Couture Candy used to deliver but ok. The jumpsuit was HUGE! Too much so that my seamstress would have had to take it apart to size it down. I decided to return it. My wear date is about three weeks away so I called to see if they could possibly speed up the return process. The lady I spoke with was rude and not willing to help. I ordered a jumpsuit from them in late January THEY sent me a 6 rather than an 8. Looking back at my orders the exchange time was 2 months! Sooo I'll be forced to purchase another one and whenever the return is complete I'll have a store credit with them that I don't need. Will not be ordering from them again.
I was given a written assurance that a dress I wanted to purchase was returnable. It was not.
The picture showed "petal" as ivory. "Petal" means pink at this company. I regret believing their customer service.
I purchased a dress and the size was not right. I returned it immediately, and paid for shipping due to their 14 day return policy from delivery date(!). It went through inspection and was verified in perfect condition. They then proceed to tell me that I signed( along with a whole list of regulations) that they refund minus a 25% "restocking fee" and charge for the original shipping and handling I received $268 refund for a $415 dollar dress and I had paid for the return shipping. So in essence I paid $165 for the privilege of having the dress one day in my home.
I live in Florida, and when I ordered my WEDDING DRESS from this site, they called and emailed to confirm the shipping address (seemed suspicious but I went with it anyway). They then shipped it to a completely different person in Illinois. When I figured this out I called and emailed to try to resolve it. They would promise to fix it, then do absolutely nothing. I've had to find a new place to buy my dress, and am stuck with calling them every day until they refund my purchase. Every time I call they tell me there is nothing more they can do. What about return my money? This site is a scam.

I was disappointed when it was a week. I went back and carefully read the transaction which said we will notify you in an email when dress ships.
I was never notified to my knowledge. I was primed to make a call to Candy Couture when the dress was delivered by UPS.
I think I will be happy with the dress. However, it will need some alterations.

Answer: They will only offer you store credit minus multitude of the penalties regardless of the reason for the return, oh and you will have to pay back the "free" shipping. DO NOT BUY from this company!
