Buying a dress online with this company is not a good idea. You can't see the quality, which for the dress we chose was very cheap and embarrassing looking, in trying to return they are beyond bad, their goal is to keep your money. We ended up returning the dress, had to pay insured postage (required) and then now we are stuck with a useless credit. We will never buy from here again and have spread the word to all we know not to as well.
Worst experience buying from couture candy. I bought three dresses which were shipped in two different shipment, that means I had to pay customs and duty in two separate waybill. I wish they would have sent them in one box. Very disappointed.
I am updating my initially negative review because they have agreed to refund 75% of my initial $336.78 USD item order (one dress). Please be cautious of the return policy, if there is a chance you will not like the dress, I would keep looking or ordering knowing there is a possibility you will be charged for a restocking and shipping fees. I am happy they are resolving this issue and working with me now.
I placed an order on May 16,2021 for a total of $405 but I still haven't received my dress.
I contacted them 7 times via emails and phone calls already but my issues still remain. Today is June 3,2021 and the wedding is on June 11,2021.
I am so disappointed in their business practices right now as I am not sure what to do.

I feel like the return policy should at least offer some cash back. Maybe take out the cost of return shipping and charge a restocking fee, but at least allow people to get some of their money back. Then again, you also have to contend with imbeciles who purchase and then return after wearing, so I get that too. (Maybe assess items on a case by case basis to see it it's been worn or damaged instead.)
Loved it but not the right color. It looked darker in the pictures. It's actually more of a light grey.
They scam you in roundabout way, bought two dresses each cost $800, they say it's returnable, I tried to return one for wrong sizing they gave me a store credit of only 3/4 the cost plus I had to pay for shipping. To top it off when you buy with store credit you have no rights and they can do whatever they want.
Not to mention customer service, it's just the worst, it's just like talking to a scammer, doesn't try to help at all.
The selections of dresses are incredibly beautiful! The dress arrived in good condition, well packaged and ahead of time. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for great collections and prices.
It's such a gamble when ordering clothing on line especially when paying a high price. You wonder n worry until the item(s) arrive if it's going to come and is it going to be what you expected. Well all I can say is the outfit I ordered is much better than what I thought it would be and it came packaged so nicely that there's hardly any wrinkles in it at all.
I ordered up a size, the top fits perfect but the pants are big. They should be pretty easy to alter.
The dress was delivered here in Qatar. Purchased the item over the phone, Bev was so helpful. Return policy was explained to me and I dont have a problem with it. This very lovely dress is worth the wait because of the international shipping.

My daughters needed prom dresses and they found this website and immediately placed the order. I was reluctant bec I had some bad experience with other online stores. But they convinced me anyway and so far is the best decision I've ever made with them.
My experience was great in Couture Candy. They had super cute and fabulous selection of clothes. The sizes we're spot on and fit me perfect and I loved the outfit I picked out. Quick shipping and friendly service. Overall a good experience with online shopping.
I was more than satisfied with my purchase. The dresses were better than the pictures shown. They fit well. If you compare their prices you will find out that they're lower than any other store. Also their customer service is excellent.
Huge giant shoulder pads that make me look like a football player, and the dress is too big on me all over. I am stuck with it though, due to couture candy not really having a good return policy. It's unfortunate that I won't be able to do a darn thing with this dress, that I wish I could exchange for one that actually fits me.
Love the quality of the dresses. Surprised by this because it was first time ordering from this site. I usually order and have had luck with high end dresses from Saks fifth Avenue.
The sizing for one was right on, and the other was too small. I am returning the one that fit, because it had an open shoulder cutout that stuck out - it looked a little off on me.

The return policy is over the top. Limited time frame and all of the taking a picture seems very cumbersome. I would rather order from a vendor that is easy to work with and returns are more simple. I do not want a store credit - want my refund. The time frame is too tight - should be more flexible.
The dress is absolutely stunning and identical to the picture! Initially, I had some reservations, but the dress turned out to be incredibly beautiful. It reached Iceland within 8 days, and everything was perfect—no missing pieces or torn on some places. I'm eagerly looking forward to wearing it on my wedding day :)
Firstly I like to be fair and tell everybody that couture candy us one of the best sites with really impressive, tasteful and unique array of prices and quality in its inventory. I have to add that customer service have space for improvement. It is important that all sales have the distinction on the non returnable dresses. Sometimes the sizing in the chart and the actual dress do not match. So I recommend that you and be certain on the size. If you are in a hurry, just order in advance.
I purchased a dress and was told it would ship within 48 hours of purchase. It has been one week and the dress still has not shipped. The UPS label was generated and shows it's "shipped" but it's been sitting in California since last Wednesday, as I have verified this with the designer and UPS directly. Save yourself time and stress and shop somewhere else.
Had a great time browsing through all the great dresses. Purchased without a hassle and was so satisfied when it came to the mail. Fits perfectly just what I imagined it would look like. True to its size and was made in high quality material. Definitely would buy some more especially if I need a great dress for special occasion.
OMG! I completely agree with the other negative reviews as the same thing has happened to me. They have no customer service at all. They charge your credit card and that is it. If you have a return, exchange or need any kind of customer service they completely disappear. Yet I get at least three or more marketing emails every single day promoting their company. I have emailed 5 times, called 10 times and have not received a response. This is a completely fraudulent company and they are scam artists. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and submitted a complaint. I am also disputing the charge on my credit card. With all the online shopping I have done over the years, I have never had an experience like this. They should be shut down and ashamed of themselves. All they are doing is taking advantage of people and taking their money.
Answer: They will only offer you store credit minus multitude of the penalties regardless of the reason for the return, oh and you will have to pay back the "free" shipping. DO NOT BUY from this company!
