Coursehero will out of nowhere decide to block your account at the moment that you have made $3000 and keep the money plus other amounts not matured yet. It is just a bunch of cons and scams. Don't tutor with them.

Before deactivation I almost got 150dollars pending to redeem but somehow it was not paid.and showing as refund. Wated my value time and energy.Its collecting from students and not paying in full to tutor. Such a scam website

Like others have written, you pay a large subscription fee and then you only get 30 unlocks. The kicker is that you don't know if what you're unlocking is what you need, complete, or even has the correct answers. So you use those 30 unlocks in about two weeks and then they want to you to pay $15 for another five, which gets you maybe one more assignment. It didn't used to be this way, I've used them in the past. I'll never use them again. Basically I paid $75 for two weeks worth of help on three assignments.

I repeat " DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM". I have filed to close my account and file for request for refund immediately after realizing they over deduct the fees". However, they have deleted my account and has yet to return the fees. The account is not even active for a single use'!

I purchased a 3 months subscription and cancelled but then when the 3 months was over I was charged again. When I sent them an email they would not refund me my money. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! They only want to continue to charge you. I would not even give them a 1 star cause it is not deserved.

Only helps a little bit worth spending the money only gives you access to a few units not everything

My experience with them was pretty bad. They don't answer the questions for more them 5-6 hours. Other sites are far more better than course hero. I strongly recommend not to take subscription it's a total waste of time and money.

The Course Hero site is a fraud. They said they are not responsible for the content of the published courses which is totally frustrating when you need to find the correct information on their site. Their answers do not match the question that is being asked. The answers are wrong. This means no matter what, you have to figure out the question to get the right answer wasting more time in completing the assignment. They do not make a refund no matter what, basically they steal your money.

Hate this website. Doesn't care about readers at all. No value. Keep asking for money or "Accepted" documents to access 1 simple pdf.

My feeling of Course Hero, is that its disgusting how they can charge so much money to assist students to study from. It's impossible to deal with. I would prefer Quizlet over Course Hero any chance I have. I felt this had to be shared.

I don't feel like paying for an answer that is due on a worksheet in 1 minute. I'm not paying for simple answers. Such a stupid site. Actually try to help kids instead of sucking them dry of money.

This platform is a total waste of money. I made a 3 months subscription and within two weeks I was locked out after less than 30 wrong searches. If I don't unlock how do I know that what I am searching for is the right one you're giving me. This is fraudulence really.

I used that service for 3 months. I had purchased the 3 months subscription and later on when I wanted to download a document, it asked me for another $30 payment! I paid but was wondering why do I need to pay again?! Then I receive a notification that they charged me without notifying me for another 3 months! I tried to dispute the charge but they didn't budge! Instead they made me email them ENDLESS times my dispute case (pretending they hadn't received my previous email) and the end result was that a person with a very similar name to the person I was talking before pretty much said in her email: "I wanted to give you some background information as to what happens when a dispute is filed. When a dispute is filed, there is a resolution process that occurs between us and PayPal. During that process, we provide PayPal with a copy of our Terms of use and account usage logs. PayPal then takes both the information you provided when filing the dispute and the information Course Hero provided and decides the outcome of the dispute. The decision made by PayPal is final and we are not able to counteract their decision. "
The files they have in their system are TOTAL garbage! They weren't helpful and its just some random files like written by a 4-year-old. Lack of file organization! 90% of the time could not even find what I was looking for! It kept showing to me first file I downloaded. Their search on website is non existent! Lack of good, well written reports. Just some garbage from some random students and half finished documents that end abruptly! In other words, GARBAGE "service". Do NOT spend your money!

Course Hero does not provide any sort of reliable support to its so-called "heroes". Tutors are treated poorly and very unfairly. We cannot appeal for unfair ratings or even the unfair and sudden closure of our accounts. Once they're done with you as a tutor, they'll close your account for no valid reason (they don't provide any substantial evidence) and they will steal your remaining earnings.
I recently had my account closed and they couldn't specify which rule in the Terms of Use I broke (which is basically because I never violated any rules). Now they won't pay me my hard earned money. My payout keeps failing and the "support" team no longer responds to my emails.
The Course Hero support team and all members of this company only care about money and nothing else. They are greedy a-holes who would only take advantage of your efforts. STEER CLEAR OF THIS SITE. It's a scam which only aims to exploit educators and students.

I don't recommend anybody to subscribe to this Course hero since you have only 30 documents per month access. This information was not clearly indicated in the benefit description to trap the people.

Even if your ratings are above 85% and you have not violated any of the rules, they will simply block your account saying that 'you are providing direct answer without explanation'.
Why don't you miserable people let students decide what answer they like or not?
The way you treat your tutors is pathetic. You don't think twice before removing a tutor who is consistently answering 20-30 questions a day with 85% + positive ratings.
That is why top tutors from Chegg don't prefer your platform and because of this students are not getting proper answers in course hero due to your stupid and nonsense policies.

The information they give you is not accurate. Nothing they post is related to questions you need help with. Tried to call and cancel and was given the run around. I read some of the other reviews and it's definitely accurate stating that it's a complete waste of time. It's not worth the headache dealing with this website. Wish I could given zero stars instead.
