They make you pay a subscription fee of course I knew that beforehand. But I didn't know until after I bought it that you get a limited amount of unlocks per month... you either have to pay more or upload ten of your own documents to only get 5 unlocks. There's also no function to get your unlock back if an answer is no good so you take a gamble when you unlock

As a former tutor, I guarantee that Coursehero just exploits tutors and students. Don't even think of applying and sending your personal information to them. They treat tutor unfairly such as providing free work for them.

The accessibility, the overall set up, the price, the materials and the way they are presented. Terrible, over priced, a lot of stuff is irrelevant and by the time u know it it's too late if u aren't paying for full subscription, some material with answers don't even make sense and it's as if a monkey completed it. But oh well y'all do not care that I wasted 2hrs trying to decode an idiots homework that didn't know what he was doing…

AFTER ANSWERING SO MANY QUESTIONS AND EARNING A LOT, THEY WILL SUDDENLY LOCKED YOUR ACCOUNT FOR NO REASON AND IN THE END, YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNINGS. TRIED CONTACTING THE TUTOR SUPPORT TEAM BUT THEY WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOU. COURSE HERO IS A SCAM!

When you are about to receive your money they will ban you. It's a scam. The positive reviews you see about CourseHero are all bots

I signed up for a 3-month plan, to see how it was. But decided to before my 3 months were done, paid the $59.85 with no problem, and thought I was done. After canceling the plan, and taking all my info out from the website, they kept charging me for months. They said I canceled at the "wrong time" and since it was a continuity subscription their system did not recognize my cancelation, and that's why their system kept charging me for months. I even blocked their charges with the bank, but they just used another account to charge my card. It took me months, and more than one fraud claim with the bank to be able to make them stop charging my account. They will charge you even if you cancel your membership! This website lives of scamming people out of their money. DO NOT USE COURSE HERO! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!

Course hero is the fraud company they do fraudulent with the tutors, company take our services but they hold our amount by making harsh policies which is totally against human rights. All the earning which are earned by tutors are there own right but company steal their amount on the basis of phone number verification process. They do wrong with our morale

This site is routinely kicking out tutors for no substantial cause. I have a PhD and a BSc but they will just trash you out for no reason. My current rating is 89% with only 3 unhelpful ratings. They locked out my account once I can cash out so that they will not pay me my remaining money. The site is okay prior to cash out. What a waste of time! This is their way to get profits by removing tutors routinely without a separation notice to keep their remaining balance. Still I am grateful for all the Helpful ratings but this is definitely a scam.

I had ratings of over 96% in all 3 subjects, that I have been giving answers for over 9 months.
But suddenly they removed my tutoring privilege at a subject saying "I have skipped too many questions at the certain subject".

Whereas during the induction, it has been stated several times that you can "skip questions as much as you can, if you do not know the answer completely".
Their violation policies and honour codes are convoluted and manipulated as much as they see fit.
It seems like a scam now!

Course hero will steal money from tutors, many students are also complaining about subscriptions, to avoid these disappointments, students can consider working with tutors outside that platform, because it will be cheaper, and more efficient, I recommend students to consider working directly with tutors, dagjere4 at gma**l dot com

They deserve negative reviews... full of scams. If you work on this platform then be prepared to loose your hard earned money.

However, the site has been accused of copyright infringement [I, myself, a victim, TWICE), as many of the documents are uploaded without the permission of the original creators. While CourseHero does have filtering technologies in place to prevent exact duplicates of removed documents from being reuploaded, the process is not creator-friendly. It's like if the content gets viewed by many people, they don't want to take it down because they themselves earn money from it. This puts original creators at a disadvantage, as their content is more likely to be removed from THEIR OWN site by CourseHero.

As a result, CourseHero's business model appears to be unfair and unethical.

I posted the Assignment question and looks the reply of one of the course hero tutors. Check his mind level. Based on my experience I give it 0 out of 10.

They took money out of my credit card for 12 months even though I did not authorise it. I ended up having to cancel my credit card as I kept telling them it wasn't my account but they said only the account holder could cancel ( but wouldn't tell me who the account holder was) then they refused to refund me. They said they tried but my bank wouldn't accept the refund yet my bank disagreed and said no one had tried to refund monies to my account. I have contacted them at least thirty times to get my money back but they keep talking in circles and won't give me my money that was taken fraudulently. They keep saying they tried. But that's not true as I have a new credit card they won't refund to but I had to cancel the old card as they kept taking my money. Never use this company nor give them ur credit details as they will just take your money forever.

Course Hero is a total menace and a scam, they disable your tutor account for no reason and rob your earnings.

You are better off becoming a beggar than becoming in this platform. You will work and once your earnings are substantial they will find a reason to lock your account for good. It caan be any reason of their choosing. They can even say your "handwriting" is bad just so they can take your money for themselves. Do not bother with this platform. Students should also stay away since you cannot cancel the subscriptions and they mistreat their tutors.

Yesturday I joined course hero for $59.00. I was taking a managerial economics course where I had an assignment that I needed their help on. However, there was a question on my homework that said to show a supply curve, meaning your supposed to draw a graph with a supply curve on there, but it was like they couldn't read the fine print. Instead of answering the question they kept telling me how it was supposed to look instead of doing it themselves. I went to 5 tutors with the same question and none of them were able to answer this question even though they claimed to be tutors in Economics they acted like they didn't have an understanding of the concepts in this subject. And they never admitted it once but kept acting like the question needed more information even though the instructions on the assignment was right in front of their face. Their tutors are very lazy
