I bought 3 urn shaped planters from Country Door. Things look great in their catalog but the planters had pushed down edges, looked like old damaged things. Now I just got a metal stacked pumpkin (Halloween decoration) and the metal is all pushed in on the face of one of the pumpkins. It took a long time to get the item and it looks like they sent me one that was a return that someone damaged. Looks good in the catalogs but the stuff they send you is banged up junk.
I bought this about s year or two ago. The red wood gliding bench has started to peel and looks like it is not doing well
Trouble from the beginning with CS. They kept telling me they needed more info on my credit. I wasn't purchasing on credit. One CS hung up on me. After the 4 or 5 times finally someone helped me. Got the chair and ottoman I ordered only to find some threads on the chair arm had been caught on something. Not super bad but shouldn't be there at all. Husband put it together and I noticed the plaid material doesn't match up and also the back of the chair is slightly lower on the left side compared to the right. We tried adjusting the legs but didn't work.
I bought a bed cover and was thrilled when it came. Alter using this for a time I ofcourse washed it. That's when the disappointment started. So I took it to a laundromat. Cold water wash and dried medium heat by self. Still really wrinkled and lumpy. The item was not cheap $130. I am taking it to the good will. I don't want to deal with the wrinkles and the lumps.
I love my storage bench.The chip wood is part of the look. It looks great in my bedroom and its has alot of storage space. Thank you Country Door.
I wrote a previous review that was already as bad as I thought it could get. I was wrong. Now, they're trying to scam me through my bank account and they charged me for the swing set order I canceled in June. I had to file a dispute with my bank in July to get the money back for that cancellation. I woke up this morning to find out my bank account is now in the hole and the charge simply says "Forced Post Adjustment" with the EXACT amount ($493.51) that I had to dispute them over. I Googled what this means and it clearly states this is how people are scamming others. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They are liars and scammers and are using bank information to bypass authorizations. I am so screwed because of them and so beyond angry. I now have no money to buy groceries for my family or pay my bills. Thank goodness, my bank is amazing and will figure it out! These people need to be stopped!
Last month, we were charged an additional $4.99 "transaction fee" when we paid by phone with a credit card. So this month, we sent a check. We were charged an additional $5.43 fee with no explanation whatsoever. When we called Country Door (Doxo.com), they refused to speak to us unless we gave them personal information which we were not willing to give. We then called the billing number on our statement and they hung up on us twice after hearing that we were complaining about the additional charge. We are now disputing through our bank. There is no mention of this fee anywhere on their statement nor were we advised of any additional fee to make payments. We will be closing our account and will no longer be doing business with this company.
Ordered picture on 3/29/20. They billed my card $57.43 on 3/30
FedEx shows they printed the label but FedEx never received the item.
I notified Country Door and on 4/15 they reshipped. Arrived 4/20
The price online is $37.99 + $9.95 shipping = $47.94. I was charged $10 extra.
On County Doors website they say they will work with you during the covid 19. Well I with Jerry from county door credit department on 5/11/2020 at 10:24 am PT. He told me that if I had 10 dollars in my bank account I needed to send it to them. I have never been late or over the limit I sent them 25.00 dollars at the beginning of May they have added late fee to my account so they want 50 dollars. I don't have 50 dollars. I'm closing this account they are predatory they do not work with you at all. I can say all of my credit card companies have worked with me. I'm done with this company and their $#*!ty over priced products.
I ordered the mixing bowls from Country Door and they arrived broken. They are gorgeous so I was very disappointed. I sent an email to them about receiving the broken bowls. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. I was told I would soon receive a label for the return shipping. This morning my account was refunded for the bowls and I have not yet returned them. I am extremely happy with the customer service at Country Door and will be shopping their website today.
I ordered four Barstool chairs that I've wanted for years I finally purchased them and after I put one together the seat area was too small it was like a child's chair and it lean forward it was very uncomfortable so I wanted to return it of course they wanted me to pay shipping for returning as well I already paid shipping when I got it I shouldn't have to pay shipping when I return it but anyway I put this in my review about the shifting issue and they reached out to me and said they will send me return shipping labels and I will have to wait 10 days to receive them it has not been 20 days so they only told me that to shut me up I'm assuming so I just finally paid the $125 to send them back and I have never ordered near again
I ordered one of their white kitchen hutches. The item was shipped in 2 box because it was a large item. They supplied me with both tracking numbers. The first box arrived today but I had to call customer service to find out where the second box was because FedEx was showing a label had been printed but the second box never shipped. Customer service told me that "FedEx failed to pick up the second box. He would get another label printed. I had to ask if it was going to be the correct color/bottom and if it would have a different tracking number. I was told it would arrive on or before March 5. I have a top of a hutch but no bottom for another week! These people need to pull their heads out of their asses.
This place entire company is crap. Customer service is crap. The excuses they give for there incompetence is crap. The fact that nobody at this company has the intelligence to figure out that the company is crap because of the lack of customer service and intelligence is also crap. I would not be able to tell you if the product is crap because i still have never received anything, which is also crap! At this point i am probably lucky i never received there crap. As I am sure it would be crap as well.
I don't typically write complaints, but I feel this needs to be known prior to purchasing from this company. I placed my order for a light weight quilt and 2 shams. I received the items and was pleased with the quilt but returned the 2 shams using the enclosed shipping label. I received my first bill which is very vague. It doesn't show a cost breakdown such as sales tax or shipping. It simply states the amount owed and the date. I had to do math to figure out how a $72.99 quilt became $111. After calculating sales tax for my state, the quilt should come to $76.86. So, this could only mean that I was charged $23.74 for shipping! In addition, they send a return address label for any returns you may have. What they don't tell you is that YOU pay for the shipping. I returned 2 shams and was charged $7.95. Had I known that I would be charged for the shipping to return these items I would have purchased a flat rate envelope and saved myself $5.
These criminals opened a credit card in my name without my permission, placed an order without my permission, refused to cancel both and verbally abused me every time I tried to resolve their illegal activity. I've spent so much time and anxiety over this it's beyond ridiculous. FBI complaint, CFPB complaint, next stop is a police report. Stay far far away!
This once was a nice home furnishing catalog. I ordered a laundry basket and a couple smaller items and sent a payment right away. In the interim the company changed my account number, didn't notify me and never refunded or credited any of my payments to the old account or credit any electronic payments to the new account. All which amounted to 246.00 for a 239.00 order. I keep getting phones calls with no caller ids. When I google the number it comes up Country Door. But when I answer it's dead air. I emailed customer service 3 times and they give me the number to credit department. Fine, but the credit department does not pick up or switches my call to another department. I have not spoken to a live person. I mailed my last two payments along with copies of all my payments processed through the bank. The company refuses to work with me, charges me late fees and doesn't credit my payments, I have already over paid. This company is a complete SCAM!
I bought a "chair" thinking it was an entire dinning room set. I requested a packing slip to send it back, how long will I be waiting for my refund? Has anyone ever got there money back from this ridiculous company? I will never order anything from here again
They have the worst service ever. You basically pay double to the shipment and to return you are responsible. What kind of business is that on 2019!
I have never ordered from Countrydoor, went to order a few small items and the shipping charge was over $30. This was much too high. Contacted them to see if they ever offered promos etc. I was given a canned response with no answers. Will not place an order with them

Answer: Super cheap items... I bought super "cute" curtains rods and they are made of plastic and all of them were broken. I have to super glue them to even use them. I bought black out curtains all sheer. I also purchased silverware and they bend just by eating ice cream... horrible will never buy from them again.
