Poor customer service

Country door is a scam. I canceled an order first day it was pending and I was told they were sending it anyway. That is forcing a purchase and fraudulent their quality suks bad customer service and they hire illegals In customer service who can't speak proper English. I'm done with this company. They told me they would mail me a return sticker for the package return but they didn't. So it's going to cost me a vast fortune to return it. I will never order another thing from country crap Marilyn gunn

Attempting to determine why an order wasn't shipped after two weeks involved being bounced among multiple departments, with huge delays on hold and nobody taking ownership of the problem. I never got an -mail about the reason for the 2-week (and counting) delay. I also never received an itemization of cost, shipping and tax.

According to their website, I had $680 worth of credit with this company and a zero balance, yet when I recently tried to place an order, they wanted me to "make a down payment!" I told them they could keep their crap and shove it. The shipping charges are sometimes as much or more than the items you are ordering. I called and requested my account be closed.

Scam and Shady business. This is the first time I have ordered from this Country Door. The customer service is awful. I called twice and I am presently waiting over 50 minutes on the phone, this is after someone from customer service asked for my social security number which I DID NOT provide for obvious security reasons, is COMPLETELY irrelevant to my purchase, and a shady practice. The item in question was a garden shed which was purchased in May 5th, the invoice stated it would arrive on May 14th. It is now May 20th and I have tried several times to contact Country Door.

Horrible company, took my money charged me as much in shipping as the product costs and then tells me that it will be here on the 23rd of Dec, not to worry. Christmas comes and goes and no gift for my 76 yr old mother. Call today to find out they say they never charged me for it and that is why the order never shipped. So now I have to get a print out of my bank statement with the charge on it and FAX it to them. Would be so much easier to screen shot it and email it, now I have to find somewhere that still faxes? Can they pay me for the bad feelings and guilt of not having a gift for my mother who knows if she will be here next year? You cannot pay me back for that. I will never use this company or any stores that sell their product. Beware shopper they take your money and give nothing but bad feelings in return, with matter of fact prove you paid and we will pay you back attitude. I give you minus 3 stars!

We ordered a beautiful quilt from them and matching shams. Received the product and it didn't match the size that we thought (oversized). Called costumer service to find out that not only did we overpay for shipping ($30) but we would have to pay that again for the replacement. We did sleek with three different people and got nowhere. The packaging slip came with a return label that stated $7.95 - 8.95 to return product. Went to return and was charged 28.95 for shipping. We will never buy from this company ever again #### them worst costumer service ever

I ordered a Saunders Cabinet from Country Door 10/23/23.
When I began to assemble, I found that it had been packed at he factory incorrectly…I received two left sides and no right.
I called and visited with Crystal at Country Door Customer Service.
She placed a part order on my behalf and I received the correct part within one week!
I was very impressed. I assembled the cabinet with all wood dowels and wood glue. It is fabulous….no wiggles…beautiful.

Don't Buy from This Company

I didn't want to rate this--they don't even deserve one star! I have received their catalogs for years, but never ordered. I was given an account, so I thought, let's check it out. I found a couple of things for my granddaughters, so I ordered. About two weeks later, I checked the status and my order status said they needed more information and to call them. Customer Service is non-existent and when I finally got through, I could not understand the person--very poor communication skills. What I learned is that even though I had approved credit, they wanted me to pay. I told them to cancel my order and will block all texts and emails from this company!

Be warned if you return an order, you only get credited for item cost; not the original shipping cost plus the consumer has to pay to ship it back! What a rip off. If I return the item, I should get credited the shipping cost!

Don't buy chairs from them unless you never sit in them.Purchased chair in April 2022 and a 2 year protection plan. They claim I cancelled the protection plan in August but was hospitalized in August when phone gave out and wasn't able to purchase a new phone until Sept 3...so I can't figure out how I was able to cancel the protection plan when I had no way of doing so...anyway three times I sit this 215 lb body on this chair and the leg breaks...where on the website do you see returns are only good within the first 60 days nowhere not on invoice or website...so the offer a measley $40 for my difficulty...and want me to use that to by another chair from them.Bit once but not twice

This is not an honest company. I wish there was a no star option. Buyers BEWARE. I have called them over and over again and all I get is one rude representative after another. This company should not be in business. They sell over price defective JUNK. They can't seem to get anything right. I wish I had NEVER ordered from them. Buyers BEWARE. Please the other reviews (I wished I had) they have a 1.75 rating. That says a lot... Trust me it's really terrible everyting about this company.

I prophesied they go out of business. InJesus's name. Yes I mentioned Jesus name to seal this stoe closes. Don't use this store return fee is ridiculous and the quality is not great not even close. They will charge you $35+ plus to return an item. Most companies provide a return label and if not no more than $10. The company is horrible they use the return fees to keep their company open because they know their policy Sucks, horrible, thieves product is not good. I can go on.and on. I'm sure you get the point stay away from.Country Door,you'll do better shopping elsewhere

Wrong color stated

Ordered a quilt that said it had off-white was completely white not off-white $22 shipping to get it. They charge eight dollars to send it back plus about $25 UPS or mail charge. What a rip off.

Over the years we have spent large amounts of money with Country Door. Recently my wife returned a product and was forced to pay a restocking fee/shipping fee of almost $28.00.Never have we ever had to pay this in the past.The item purchased was around $57.00. After speaking with two different customer service reps to no avail we can no longer do business with a company that has return fees that are borderline illegal. Never again. Gonna spread the word about you.

I returned an item and instead of credit given less the shipping charges back onto my Visa, Country Door opened a credit card to charge me the shipping charges. I did not authorize an account to be opened. I paid the bill and informed them to close the account. Be aware when returning something, this is the idiotic way you will pay for the shipping charges.

I was a CD loyal customer for over 10 years, they used to be very good. Good customer service, free shipping and handling, good products. It is obvious they were either bought out by big corp or they just don't care. I have "outstanding" credit, nice credit line, always paid more than the amount due and prior to the due date. I ordered for the first time in about two years and they are TERRIBLE which is putting it mildly. When I checked my order they didn't ship it, wondered why then received an email stating I needed to put 100% down on the order! I emailed customer service, JOKE! Call billing. Then they pulled my credit! I emailed customer service, another JOKE! Call billing. Then they opened a new line of credit, again affecting my credit score. I have been in contact with a consumer advocate attorney to file a lawsuit and potentially a class action. Billing is a joke, no one speaks English and when asking for a Supervisor "none are available". Overpriced, added charges are ridiculous, junk products. Sell outs. Run away from this place as fast as you can.

What a ripoff!

I ordered a bedspread and shams. Only one sham came. When I called customer service, I was told that shams did not come as a pair. So I tried to order another sham, and of course, they were out of stock. So I returned the bedspread and single sham at my cost ($24 for return receipt postage). They have only refunded me the cost of the items, not the extensive handling and shipping fees. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ONLINE RIPOFF! I have learned my lesson and will only buy from reputable online merchants OR from Amazon, since they have a clear and fair refund policy.

No Service!

I ordered a sunflower arrangement latter part of October & it finally arrived today. Opened the box to find a LED poinsettia ball! No invoice enclosed - nothing, just the wrong order. Immediately called the 800# and recording said to try back later. Tried to log onto customer service - nothing connected. I can only presume this is a scam company, I got screwed over and lesson learned. Will throw out all catalogs and warn everyone I know (which is considerable) never to get fooled by this phony "company".
