Update, received the following week. Quality seems pretty good. I like venting. I can certainly see how it will help keep it in place when windy.

The easiest website I've ever used :)) Delivery by FedEx wasn't so great, the driver left the box in the foyer of my apartment building, said "it was too heavy to deliver to my apartment". In future I will not make purchases from your company if you use FedEx to deliver.

The shopping experience was very frustrating. There are not enough filters to shop for and compare products. There are SO MANY 8000 BTU products but no clear indication as to what the difference is. We picked one with the best ratings but actually have no idea why it is any better or worse than the other 8000 BTU products.
We did receive the product and tried it out over several nights. We don't find it to be cooling enough for the master bedroom and the room is still quite hot and uncomfortable. It also turns on and off all night which a) is disruptive to sleep and b) leaves the room feeling hot and sticky in between cycles.
This product is not effective or worth the money but unfortunately we accidentally threw out the box it came in and so we cannot return it. :(

After shopping around it turned out Costway had the best price for Costway Portable Washers so I gave it a shot. The delivery was early by a day or two and the machine works great.

It took 3 adults (with PhDs) and numerous hours to assemble this product. The instructions are extremely poor and the item is still not working. I would love some assistance. Thank you!
