I ordered a front bumper and the web site said free shipping. After a week I got a bill for shipping. I needed the bumper because the car was tying up a paint booth. After three weeks I got a letter from fedex stating that corvette mods had made a error with contact info. Fedex told me after talking to 7 different people that the part was returned to corvette mods. I've contacted corvette mods three times and still no customer service. Basically told it's not their problem! DO NOT do business with them! EVER!
Corvette sent me a part that was supposed to fit my car but part was made incorrect. When I talked directly to the Manufacture (American Car Craft) and sent them photos they apologized and asked me to return the part and their would be no Restocking charge.
Well over three weeks later after several emails and phone calls I finally got a partial credit Minus $33.75 and $13.00 shipping for an incorrect part that was shipped to me in error.
Rated Corvette Mods a one Star because that was the lowest option.
Ordered a hood liner for my corvette. It took 3 weeks to arrive and when it did it was completely damaged due to poor packaging. I informed them immediately, requested a refund, provided photos of damaged product, shipped back via UPS and yada yada 2 months later and still no refund. Calls and emails go unanswered - not even sure a real company exists... I would stay a million miles away from Corvette Mods. Never had such a nightmare experience before as I have had with them!
Still do not have my part that was suppose be in stock and to my build a ng last Monday, now they give me tracking number but call post office and post master general. There is no item in there position! There so dumb they are using federal government agency for there scam! I have file formal complaint with Texas attorney general office. Without corporate lawyer. Please if you got scam by them call or email file a formal complaint,

One they can not charge your card until shipment, using electronicdevice compete fraud, and have done it in multiple states and country's, I can tell you there32 file with the attorney general. Ifile with them asap!
Placed an order on 07/12/2019 after calling to verify the items were in stock. Order never shipped. Called multiple times to get an update and a tracking number, but the only thing "customer service reps" (which seems to be an off site third party company) can tell me is that they will forward the info to the warehouse to get a confirmation or an e-mail within 24 hours. I've got multiple emails saying that they are yet to receive any more info about the order. One of the e-mails stated the order shipped but when I requested a tracking number nobody answered back and the customer service reps are not aware of any shipping/tracking info either. I requested to speak to somebody at the actual site, or a supervisor but they can't transfer calls, and don't have any info about the order either. Overall a terrible experience so far. Next step is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Now I know the reason why this company is not BBB accredited. I will keep this post updated with all the details.
Purchased two interior trim items for '94 corvette. The 1990-1996 Shift Console arrives worn and appeared to have been previously installed (fingerprints and screw marks). The return process has been arduous to say the least. While this happened in May of 2019 I have still yet to receive resolution. COrvettemods uses a third party to perform returns and as a result you must hound them to get action. They appear to only look at your claim if you email and ask for an update. Stick with Ecklers or MidAmerica.
Had a defective part sent to me and they make it impossible to return it. Had to eat $400. Hardly never answer their phones. However, if you get lucky enough for them to answer. There customer service department is nasty people working there. Also can't understand a word they say. Don't even deserve one star. Here's to you Corvette mods!

Horrible experience. Optimistically ordered items from Corvette mods and have been totally frustrated since. The pricing was incorrect, the item not as depicted, and customer service a total sham. I should have known better and wish I had read the critical reviews. Any company can make a mistake, but how they deal with customers after the sale is the true measure of their core values. I will never consider this company for anything in the future.
I received a substituted part that I did not want. I called to return the item and have now spent a week trading emails. The end result is that they won't accept the return unless you fill out an online request and agree to their return policy which allows them to not reimburse your initial shipping charges, and use their discretion in charging a restocking fee.
I contacted Chase Credit Card Services to dispute the charge and was told I have to return the item before it can be disputed. I asked if I could do that and then dispute the shipping charges considering I'd have to "agree" they didn't have to refund that. I was told I could dispute but probably wouldn't get the money back since I "agreed" to their policy. Way to go Chase, you're a real help in dealing with disreputable merchants.
Stay away from Corvettemods. Use Corvette Central or Paragon.
Received in a damaged part due to being stuffed in a box with other parts ordered. Poorly packaged. It's been 2 weeks, numerous emails that take days to respond and phone calls with a foreign answering service, you can't talk with anyone @ corvetteMods. They want me to do all the work for a claim with shipping company for something they package poorly. All I want is a full refund and to ship the $100.00 part back, all I'm getting is the runaround. STAY AWAY FROM CORVETTEMODS!!!
First off I ordered some parts and after weeks of wondering where there heck they are I contacted them. You call and talk to a Pakistani sounding dude that says he's just an answering service. It's a big joke you can hardly understand the guy. So he says I will get an email within 24-48 hours, I thought ok great. I receive a vague email a day or two later with my order number but not saying much more than that. Just some invoice numbers and saying I see your parts will all ship together? Then I email back asking how long this is going to take, maybe I'll just cancel. A day or two later I get an emailing stating let's figure out how long the parts will take before you cancel. Days go by... nothing.
Finally I begin the painstaking cancel process of yelling at Pakistani answering service dude and emailing. I get emails back randomly every few days assuring me that everything will be ok and that the cancellation process has begun.
After a few days I got one requesting more money for shipping? Saying that they outsourced the parts. That's the thing this company has no parts they order it from other Corvette outfits.
So I freak out and they say oh sorry for the miss understanding and that they will get my money back to me in 3/5 days. That was a week ago. So I've waisted about a month and that's where I'm at now.
Sometimes they will get back to you sometimes they don't but it's all BS every time!
Update: fast forward 5 months! They never sent the parts or gave me a refund!
So I had to go to my bank and get their help. I received the temporary refund while the case was investigated. I thought that was the end of it. No... not even close.
So I could have won this ridiculous case months ago but this super shady company had the balls to use another tracking number for a small item they actually did ship to me around the same time. They sent my bank this tracking number in their defense even though it was for a completely different order@$&!?
Well because I was out of town working I missed the letter that came in the mail that my case will be closed If I didn't respond in 15 days. So I was out over 700 dollars! So then began waiting on hold with my bank and yelling at them, anyone would listen. Luckily I had a few larger items and I saw that on the tracking info they submitted it was delivered to a "parcel box" and after a visit to my post office I had the proof I needed! I felt great when I read the item they used the fake tracking info was only two pounds. Which would have been impossible for my order of suspension parts one being 4 feet long- so I had to submit this information along with all their phony emails about how my order is going to be canceled and I'll receive my refund in 3 to 5 days. Which never happened!
This company caused me so much stress, I can't stress enough how if you use them you will mostly likely get burnt eventually.
Avoid doing business with this company. From their return policies that seem very shady like returning something that didn't fit and 2 were bought the same size and had to pay for return shipping, then they subtracted $20 for their original shipping which was arbitrarily high and then a restocking fee on top of all that! Restocking fee on a light jacket and $20 removal of shipping and my $12 to return it! What! There's less then half the amount left. Or even something as simple as default settings for a refund on a return being set to "store credit" on a returnable item and then seconds later, after the return request sent, I emailed back to say I wanted the refund, not store credit, and get a response saying no it can't be changed! To the lack of return emails from customer service at all or even in a timely manner of a few days, not weeks. To their "Refer a Friend" program which has made a friend disgusted with her experience as well and not receiving the only 1 item she ordered and no response for 2 weeks to her 2 emails and then had to call them and all she was told was they'll look into it and still no response! Not a company we want to do business with when you're dealing with intelligent people when there are so many other companies out there doing the same type of business. Hope those $$ were worth losing a few very good customers and a host of bad reviews
Have dealt with this company for quite a few years. First really bad experience. Ordered "C7 Corvette Stingray/Grand Sport 2014-2019 Fuel Rail Cover Lettering Decals - Colored Overlays Part Number: *******@ 44 bucks. Lettering lifted on the edges after 2 hours of driving. Removed the whole mess which pulled up the RED factory paint on the letters. Hadda wipe the red paint and glue residue off completely. Got a Store Credit and told them to pull the product that it's $#*!. Just looked, still there. DON'T BUY THESE!
I ordered a pair of dash speakers for my 74 Corvette roadster. Three weeks later a beat up, water stained, moldy, frayed, crushed box with at least two prior labels arrived in the mail. One of speakers was crushed and in pieces. Notified Corvette Mods and requested a return label and started getting the run-a-round. Asked for photos of the box, sent them. Then they wanted photos of the speakers, sent them. Then asked for a resend in JPEG format even though the original sends were in JPEG. Finally sent multiple versions of 10 photos showing the mold, crushed box, and broken speaker. Next msg from them was to submit a Request For Return and attach photos. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Every time I call Customer Service I've spoken to a guy with a heavy eastern European accent who seems only able to ask for photos. Total ripoff!
These guys $UCK to deal with returns. I got stuff shipped from JAPAN faster than a month it took to get here. The power steering pump arrived soaked in fluid as did the box. Rebuilt or not, it should not be delivered like that. Now the return, poor communications until you get PAYAL involved, then all the sudden they start responding. $11.99 to ship the part to me but $25 to send it back? A$$holes are now trying to stick all the shipping costs back on me for the crap they sent me. Do yourself a favor, buy from ANYONE ELSE BUT THESE JERKOFF$. Bunch of $#*! clowns trying to pawn sub par products.
I' am from Berlin/Germany. I ordered for my Z06 Heat Reduction Plates. I tried to get the information; if a different belt is needed, when installed. About 10 times a wrote them. They always answered, as if they never read what a i was writing. Then i send them back! Till today and after again about 10 emails, they dont give back the money. So, i dont have the plates, but paid for.
This place is terrible! Returns are a joke! I paid shipping back to them, and then they say they will withhold whatever the shipping price was originally. For a defective part that cost $100 I pay $30 to return it (because you need a tracking number, if you don't, they will never admit receiving it) and they will withhold another $30 for their "free" shipping! If I ever do see the $40 I will be extremely lucky! And read the fine print! If you're delivery is missing something you need to contact them within 30 days. How do you know anything is missing when the tracking numbers may or may not be emailed?, and the items are shipped from multiple places with their own $#*!ty service. I've contacted them numerous times and no luck. At this point they can keep the $40 and buy an English translator. That's the last they will ever get from me!
I've now ordered multiple items from Corvette Mods and have had horrible experience each time (shame on me for giving them multiple chances). They are just middle men selling things that you can buy from other sites. Order processing takes a week, and then it takes weeks to get the merchandise. Descriptions are awful. I've recently had a return. After waiting 2-1/2 weeks to get the shipment, then I had to request an return authorization. That took 9 days. Then you need to pay return shipping and more shipping costs to get the correct item. Horrible customer service - they always say we'll call you back, but never do. Beware!
I paid $84.49 and got nothing including the return of my money.
1. I was charged $34.49 shipping for them to email me my Gift Card number.
2. When I complained they cancelled my gift card, my rewards points, closed my account.
If you deal with them you may never see your money again.
Answer: The short answer is customer service. Granted, Corvette Mods prices are great. But, be aware, if there are problems, what really makes a company great is their ability to fix problems. My experience as you see with many others was very poor, and to the point of fraudulent when they knew they received an item back for refund, then was not going to refund my money.
