Fake news or information disorder is false or misleading information (misinformation, disinformation, propaganda, and hoaxes) claiming the aesthetics and legitimacy of news.[1] Fake news often has the aim of damaging the reputation of a person or entity,[2] or making money through advertising revenue.[3][4] Although false news has always been spread throughout history, the term fake news was first used in the 1890s when sensational reports in newspapers were common.[5][6] Nevertheless, the term does not have a fixed definition and has been applied broadly to any type of false information presented as news. It has also been used by high-profile people to apply to any news unfavorable to them. Further, disinformation involves spreading false information with harmful intent and is sometimes generated and propagated by hostile foreign actors, particularly during elections. In some definitions, fake news includes satirical articles misinterpreted as genuine, and articles that employ sensationalist or clickbait headlines that are not supported in the text.[1] Because of this diversity of types of false news, researchers are beginning to favour information disorder as a more neutral and informative term.
I use to love reading CNN on my phone or on my laptop but now when i click CNN and see an article I want to read, they are charging! I think it is ridiculous! I can pull up MSNBC and read the same article for free.

Let me tell you people at CNN. When will you stop with those fake news and coming after the president. Do you people like all the open boarders and the price if everything food gas. CNN still hasn't learned what their listeners do not want to hear. They are still stating biased mis-truths putting untrue fear in their listeners (what they have left) ears. CNN is on a suicide mission because they just did not get the hint. News stations like correct and un-biased news and information. YOU LOST< GET OVER IT LOSERS!
It is ridiculous. Almost every story have to be a subscriber. If I want to read a story CNN headlines and it says I have to pay, I just google the story and read it somewhere else. I've had to do that so many times I just don't even go on CNN anymore. I've bought alot of thing while on CNN website that I'm sure they got a cut from. Now they lost that income revenue, as small as it might have been. But enough people I'm sure are doing the same thing, that adds up to alot of money CNN will no longer get. CNN started going down hill after they let Chris Cuomo & Don Lemon go. 2 of the most trusted people in journalism. Who wouldn't protect there brother! I know this isn't the right place for this review, I'm adding it anywhere i can.
I watch CNN and Fox News always but I do notice that CNN is one sided in reporting there news or in interviewing there guests. I've noticed that any Democrat they interview is always favored and anyone Republican is always rebuffed. It's so sad that it's so one sided? Are the owners CNN Democrats?

CNN, has gotten to the point that they don't fact check very accurately. AG James did in fact go to the WH to meet with Joe Biden. And Kamala Harris. I will never watch or read their articles again. CNN has jumped the shark with a bogus interview of VP Harris. First off it was pre-recorded, so any flubs were probably erased! Second why did someone running for the big boy position need a chaperone like here running mate? We're TGEY afraid it would turn into a jailer fest topped with one of her word salads that make no sense? Topped by lefty host Donna Bash, all soft ball questions, which no doubt her campaign had before hand. No doubt her Marxist running mate was there to just suck up time while INMHO, pothead Harris avoided answering softball questions

I think it's unreal and disgusting that a well known news show would intentionally put just one side of a candidate to the grave. People who watch thus show should not even vote because your not getting both sides. Boy Hillary Clinton must have paid them real big money.
I can smell their bias from where I'm sitting. They cover the slightest thing on trump, even when it's offensively false, but won't delve into anything hillary related when it could hurt hillary's campaign. That's just negligence to not tell the whole story of both sides, and it really hurts their credibility.
Even as a democrat, I can see that this is currently the most biased and inaccurate news network on television. If anyone sees CNN on at airports or anywhere else, please request the channel be changed. This type of propaganda stands against American values.

Few years back waking up to CNN in the morning was actually getting you news. Right now it's all morning "Trump, Trump, Trump". No spectrum of information, just various people with mostly similar opinions on the same topic each day.
