Ordering through clearly was simple. Done it many times before but I'm not impressed with the shipping. I was due to have my package by the first week of December and I didn't get it till nearly 4 weeks later after having to call Canada post and file a claim.
Clearly did reach out to me and were very concerned over the delivery issue. They certainly want to make sure their customers are happy with the service. I will certainly purchase from them in the future but will try to avoid extremely busy times of the year.
As usual, my contacts arrived quickly. There was a very slight delay with this past order due to no stock in one of my contacts, but I still had them within a week or so. Normal delivery time is a few days.
No complaints, always happy!
Was the first time when I ordered online. To make sure you don't order something wrong, like I did at the beginning, send copy of your prescription too. I'm very happy with the quality, price and customer service offered. Thank you!
I bought a backup pair of prescription glasses and didn't wear them for a while and was still in its original packaging. Then when I went to go open it again the lenses where chipped in mutiple spots along the edges. Order arrived as expected no issues there.
Edit: customer service contacted me to resolve issue and will be sending glasses back for a credit.

If you need contacts, they're absolutely the best place to order from in Canada. Their price match is so easy to take advantage of. I once tried to price match to a competitor's site but after shipping and handling costs it actually came out higher than Clearly's -- so what the lady on the other side of the phone did was search up another competitor site and found a price match for me. Very impressed with this company. Highly recommended.
Absolutely unbelievable experience from start to finish. I've already told lots of people to start using your seamless service. Got exactly and I mean exactly what I ordered. Delivered early even! One of the few things out there that does and works exactly as it should. Everyone associated with this company and process should be proud. Won't buy anywhere else. Perfect!
We received our order of contact lenses fairly quickly. However, it was delivered by FedEx in a damaged state, the box was crushed and very wet. In addition, the delivery person did not leave a note explaining the issue, nor did he ring the bell to alert us of any problem. Ultimately we did not seek a refund, since the contact lenses themselves were intact in the plastic packaging.

I placed an order for contacts last year and ended up waiting an extra month longer than what I was told. Unfortunately there was nothing the customer support could do on their end as it was an issue with the manufacturers of the contacts. They expedited my contacts as soon as they got them which was nice. Again, nothing clearly did but just highly recommend if you are going to order from them (especially contacts), don't wait until you only have 3 weeks - a month supply left as it could potentially take longer. They also refunded me $30 for the wait and frustration so overall I was happy, just annoyed at how long I had to wait.
I was having trouble with my polarized lenses and came to realize it was caused by stress marks from when the lenses were adhered to my glasses. It took a bit of back and forth but they replaced them at no cost to me and I am very happy with my new glasses, thank you so much Megan!
My polarized sunglasses had stress marks which affected my vision. I had lots of help from Megan at customer service and had them replaced under warranty. Thank you so much for the great service Megan, you were very helpful. I love my new glasses!
Clearly didn't necessarily do anything wrong, per se, but the whole experience of purchasing glasses online is one that I will never pursue again thanks to this experience. Bought one set of glasses initially that didn't fit. Clearly did freely refund me for that, to their credit. The replacement set, however, while technically "fit", have a very shallow angle on the ear bars meaning that they are constantly sliding down my nose. All of this would have been avoided by visiting a store in-person to get a pre-purchase fitting.

Edit: Customer service reached out to me which was a very pleasant surprise considering I had given it 4 stars originally which shows they must read all reviews. They offered me a credit on a future order which was very kind of them and definitely justifies an increase in the star rating.
Cheaper than ordering from a local shop but delivery was not as quick as normal, I received notice there would be a delay after I had ordered so I would have preferred knowing that prior to ordering.

Purolator never, tried to delivery the package or leave a notice. It happens more than once, only with Purolator courier, terrible service. Seller should choose a better courier and make sure packages are delivered properly.

Good experience but the wait for glasses this time around was a little longer. I think this is four different prescriptions I have ordered through the years and my level of satisfaction remains very high.!
The delivery package is not well protected, although no damage found.
Minor adjustment takes a longer time due to online appointment booking.
The receipt should include the different name of the clients as per prescription.
I'm a first time buyer of online contacts. I will never go back to an optometrist for contacts ever again. If you have a pair of contacts and need more ordered don't hesitate to get them through clearly.ca. Fast delivery. My contacts arrived 2 days after purchase! Accurate order. Same products you'll find in the shops. My employer health insurance company instantly approved clearly.ca and covered my cost in full. My wife, kids and I will be using clearly.ca going forward.
The ordering process online is very easy to go through, with multiple options to help you choose from. The order arrived within a week, two weeks earlier than expected and the glasses are amazing quality.

I had one problem this time. They offer a choice of shipping companies, specifically saying to choose Canada Post if you want it to get into an apartment building. I did that, but it was shipped through FedEx anyway, so I ended up with a delivery slip and having to go pick it up myself.

I purchased the lower price glasses as these are only for reading small print. My prescription recommended a +2.00 which I feel may be too strong as I have a hard time focusing with them on, therefore I don't wear them unless I'm doing something requiring a lot of magnification. Service was great and delivery was quick.

Answer: Hi Dan - what you're seeing is the pre-authorization hold being taken and released so we can actually take the payment upon shipping out. On a regular credit card this is pretty invisible (a pending payment becomes an actual charge), but because the only way to apply a pre-authorized hold of funds on a credit-debit is to have the processor remove them from the bank balance and hold them between your account and Clearly's, it looks more like a charge, refund, charge. In either case, Clearly only receives the funds the one time once the order ships out!

If the prescription is correct, one more piece of information you want to verify is the PD (Pupillary Distance), as it is not always showing on the prescription. If it is not, and the PD is showing 63mm (or 31.5/31.5) on our receipt, this means the PD by default may have been entered when placing the order. This measurement is important as it allows us to cut and place the lenses in the frame in order for your eyes to focus right at the middle of the lens, to ensure comfortable and perfect vision. If the PD was incorrect, or if you're experiencing eye strain despite a correct PD, please contact our customer service team at 1-866-414-2326, or via chat or email through our website with your order information.
