I've been getting most of what my pet, Precious needs through Chewy.com for years. I just lost her at the age of 13. When I chatted with an agent to see about returning a new bag of food she didn't use, he said I will be refunded for the bag of food and the 8 cans of wet food left over from the case. As for returning the products, he said to donate to a local shelter or rescue! How great is that! Chewy has been amazing to me! I highly recommend them! Their customer service has always been great with the few issues I've had.
Chewy.com always processed my orders accurately and I received them in a very timely manner. They even include complimentary toys with your order. Sadly, my pet passed away last week and not only did they refund my order but they called to share their condolences and even sent flowers! It's rare to find companies that truly care. I highly recommend them for all your pet needs! In my opinion they are the best company ever!
I am beyond blessed to have spoken with Cynthia in the call center. She sent me flowers after I lost my fur baby. I am very appreciative of Cynthia and her amazing customer service! I will now only order from chewy for pet needs. AMAZING!
I have been a customer of Chewy.com for several years, being the owner of a very spoiled dachshund who requires special food, chewy toys etc. I really like using the Chewy.com website; their prices are good, selection is awesome and I can't say enough good things about their customer service team. It is rare to find a company with this level of customer service and knowledgeable people. The few problems I have experienced over the years have been resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. I hope business schools are writing this company up as a business case study on what to do right.
Chewy does an excellent job of taking care of its customers. I recently purchased a pair of dog boots for my thirteen-year-old golden retriever. Before she had a chance to wear them she passed away. I figured I would try to return them to Chewy and maybe get some money back. Instead, they insisted I donate them to an animal organization and refunded all of my money. This was an unexpected, pleasant surprise. They also sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers as well. A company that would do that for their customers shows a deep level of compassion that must be repaid and I felt compelled to write this review after that. The products and services this company provides are far above average. The prices are good and overall I could not be happier. Chewy has earned themselves a life-long customer.
I can't be more positive about Chewy.com. Their product lines are terrific, their prices are very reasonable, and their customer service is awesome. We purchased a water fountain for our cat in September, 2021. The pump failed a few months later. When I notified Chewy, they responded immediately, and we received a new product in less than a week! We're thrilled (and so is our kitty, Tess). Thank you, Chewy.com. You're awesome!
I have been using Chewy for my pet food needs for at least the past six years, and I have been very happy with the services that they have provided. All that seems to be over. I called to inquire about a recent order that should normally have arrived that day. I waited for phone help for 25 mins (at 8:00 AM). This is unacceptable based on the excellent service they have provided all these years. I sincerely hope that things change with them. Maybe they have become too successful?

This company goes above and beyond for their customers. I have had times where something with my order was off or missing and with one call or email they immediately fixed the problem. They are so caring when it comes to pet losses, more than any regular retailer would be. I love that they ask for any extras go to shelters to help other animals vs returning things to them that may not be able to be used for resale. When I get a pet again, they will continue to be my go to for all of my needs.
Let me just give a warm shout out to Chewy for supporting during this sad time from having to put my fur baby down in August 2022. They refunded my purchase I made that same month and told me to keep the unused products. Then as a bonus they sent flowers to my home. I will never forget what that meant for me. Specifically, my cat is on a special diet and chewy has lots of options that my local petsmart doesn't have. I also was so shocked how fast my shipping was. One product came the next day!
I used to check other websites when I needed things for my kitty. But I'd always end up ordering from Chewy because they have what I need and get it to me fast. Now I just skip trying the other companies and go straight to Chewy. Best of all, if you have a question, you can call them day or night, 7/24. And you get to talk to a "live" person without having to fight the phone prompts. Skip the hassle. Go straight to Chewy.com first time, every time.
Delivery is always sporadic, it used to be good about a year ago, now I never know when it will be here. Can't depend on it. Also the packaging is not too great, the bags of cat food are packed with boxes of canned food, which pokes holes in the bags of cat food. So when you open the box cat food is everywhere. I must say though if you call them they will send out a new bag.
I ordered three bottles of medication for my cats, and I only received two. Shortly after I emailed them, I got a notification that my other bottle had shipped. I received it two days later. I'm very satisfied with how quickly this was resolved, and with little effort on my part. Thank you Chewy!
I notified them that my pet passed and they reimbursed me for the last auto ship & said to donate the food etc to a shelter. Then they also sent me flowers! I've never experienced such kind and wonderful customer service in my life! They are the BEST!
This is one of the few pet food companies Ive tried that actually seems like it cares about your pets! Particularly cats! We order cat food, treats and litter here for our little tortoiseshell tabby, who has been undergoing cancer treatment for the past year. Everything is always clear and easy to find, and they make it even easier to re-order the same items by putting them on their own page. Shipping is super fast, we often get our items just a day or two after ordering! Love them.
But the vast dog selection that Chewy offers is unprecedented so I've been using them pretty loyally over the past year. Add in super quick shipping, easy returns, and great prices and they have a customer for life.
For year and from friends I had heard so many great stories regarding Chewy's customer service and it seemed too goo to be true until I ran into a tricky situation where they were more than happy to help. It's very obvious that they equip their team with proper training and give them enough authority to extend courtesies when they see appropriate. Was sent an email saying 30 dollar gift card for orders over 100. This is not first time they've sent false advertising. Customer service is extremely rude! I'll no longer purchase anything from Chewy!
Answer: No trouble at all. They have the best customer service/replacement/refund practices I've ever encountered. By all means, contact them again if you're having an issue.
Answer: If you are having trouble returning an item, call Customer Service and ask them to assist you. My understanding for returns is any item can be returned, even if it has been used you may return it within 1 year of original purchase. Their Custom Service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. So, if you work odd hours you don't to wait until Customer Service is available.

Answer: Ever thought of reading the FAQ posted on EVERY SINGLE COMPANIES WEBSITE to answer your own questions? Companies post these FAQ's for a reason. Too bad people are too lazy to read them. Then you scream at the reps you speak to due to your own stupidity levels in NOT READING A COMPANIES POLICIES. FYI it is a CONSUMERS RESPONSIBILITY to read those policies as the company already knows their own policies. FYI shipping from the USA to Canada cost customs fees and taxes which are NOT refundable and if you chose to return an item you will will incur these fees again and YOU are responsible for paying for them not the company you do business with. International shipping also requires proper documentation to get packages through customs. Not every USA company has the man power to deal with this enormous amount of work nor do they wish to deal with the headaches involved with shipping outside of the USA. How so many of you Canadians do not know this information is mind boggling.
