Booked a flight in July for travel dates Sept. 2-10,2021. The day before (9-1) discovered at 6:07 am that CheapoAir had booked the wrong flight date. I was on the phone with 4 different people for HOURS and was reassured by all that the flight was taken care of and the date was corrected. Well they DID NOT fix the flight and my family wasn't able to fly out. Have been dealing with them ever since to get my money refunded for the tickets we didn't have. Its not October and still don't have my full refund as they promised I would. They have tried to refund me just $48! How are you a travel company and you mess up travel dates!
Cheap O Air has a long waiting process and uses a switch and bait approach to refunds and credits. I booked a flight that was canceled by Cheap O Air customer service representative and had to pay full price through the Airline. The ticket counter said the 3rd party booking canceled that's why I had to pay. Then I called Cheap O Air back and they're saying that the airline canceled it. Now Im must call the Airline back. Cheap O Air is just that Cheap!
Prices are still pretty steep for a one-way. However, it was a direct flight.

This is the worst company you can use to book your flight. I would strongly urge to use anything else. If you have any problems at all calling them to getting proper service is damn near impossible. The only thing they are good at is taking your money.
I had a return flight booked for Sept 18 I wanted to call them to extend my stay and see if I can take a later flight at a later date. The rep said I he could change my flight with no extra costs and that I can fly out on Sept 28.
5 days later they call me and say we are sorry turns out we can't issue this ticket. However we can still fly you out before the beginning of oct 1 for a surcharge of 400$ I said no way had I known this from the get go I wouldn't have extended my stay. They said another option is for you to leave oct 10 I said no I have obligations and work I need to get back home by the 1st latest. They said alright because it's our fault we will try to find you a ticket.
Finally they issue me another ticket yet again a few days later they said they can't actually issue me that ticket and to top it all of at the end they issued me a ticket leave sept 30. I get to the airport and they won't let me board the flight because of political feuds that the countries I was transiting in was having. I wasn't notified of any of this while they issued me the ticket and to make matters worst they issued me the ticket on the 29th of sept and my flight was on the 30th.
Try to call them back to get a solution spent at least 3 hours on the phone. They had to audacity to tell me Gilbert who was the "supervisor" I was dealing with isnt on shift right now I have to wait until he gets back into work and he's going to call me. I told them do you guys hear yourselves? Your here providing a service you took my money and when I call in because I need Immeadiate assistance they tell me to wait until Gilbert is back in. All in all I wouldn't have my worst enemy use this service it's just garbage.

Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!

Insurance is not mandated to take it is optional. We also provided the coverage details for the insurance to review and if you were not completely satisfied with what was covered you had 10 days from the purchase date to get a refund of the insurance. If you were looking for coverage that included changes with out a fee, than this insurance was not for you.
