It would have been nice if it wasn't so gamey... you know, if I could have known what I was booking. I would have liked that better! Maybe just offer it to the first takers, and that's it.

Supper super super poor customer service, unclear booking and cancellation policies and an absolute rip off business. DON'T EVER try to book with them if you care about quality of service and customer service. They are unclear and shady about their policies. Once you book or want to cancel you will be charged different kinds of fees like service fees, cancelation fees, etc. I booked two international flights with them. They changed our flight in the last minute and sent me a text to confirm the new itinerary for a different date. Called them up and after being on hold for over an hour they said they were not able to provide a same day flight; very UNRELIABLE. Had to cancel. Of course was charged cancellation and service fees per person. They didn't give my money back, but instead gave me some credit not with Cheapair, but with that specific airline which operates in Europe. Tried to book another flight a month later using the credit. The website didn't allow and asked me to call Cheapoair. Already found the flight online and asked Cheapoair agent to help me book with my credit available. Flight online on their website was $178 per person and they wanted to charge me $220 extra bkz of what they called "differential fee or post booking charges": being punished for using their service. Ridiculous; can you believe that? I am scared of using that credit. Instead, I tried Priceline and was very happy with their service and clarity of their policy.
One last thing, please be honest with your reviews, people read them and decide to use a service based on them like myself. Will NEVER EVER use Cheapoair again nor would I recommend it to anyone. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them.
I have been on hold so many minutes when I changed my tickets. I was changed time of departing Syracuse without any reason why. In order to leave at the original time I had to pay 520.00 extra!

I had to switch my flight due to a death in the family, and it literally cost me almost as much as I paid for my original ticket. All the extra fees are ridiculous. I fly every other month and had to change a flight before and I have never had to pay so much extra!

I have had the worse experience with Cheapoair. I booked my India to Paris flight (Air India) with them for May 2020 travel. The flights were cancelled due to COVID-19, and I immediately requested for refund. It is September 2021 and they have not managed to get me my refund yet. Despite of "requesting" for refund over calls/chats/emails, I have had no success. I was directed to different departments, with absolutely no success in making any progress. Finally in August 2021 there system FINALLY showed the progress on my refund request as "in progress" which is ridiculous. I understand all airline travel agents and airlines have been busy with cancellations/refunds due to COVID but this is outrageous. I was so desperate that I reached out to the Airline directly who obviously was not able to help. Once I get my refund back, I WILL NEVER USE CHEAPOAIR. They are genuinely the WORST!
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
