First-line Customer Service agents need to research every detail, and you cannot get to a supervisor. Booking agents are competent with product knowledge, but they refuse to spend time assisting you.
I didn't like the 20-minute browser refresh limit DURING MY BOOKING PROCESS. There are a lot of details to check/read and this is rushing and stressing the passenger.

My wife, a native of the Philippines, has been a US citizen since 1996. When we learned that my wife's sister, who was living in the Philippines, was dying of pancreatic cancer, I scheduled a round-trip flight to the Philippines for her with CheapOair, for my wife to be there with her sister during her last days. Naturally, we could not know the date she would pass away, only that she had days or weeks, perhaps a month or so to live. We could only guess the length of time before her sister passed away and my wife would be ready to return home to the US. When my wife's scheduled return flight date was a few days away, and my wife's sister still had not passed away, I called CheapOair to explain the terrible situation and discuss rescheduling my wife's return flight date. The representative explained that I could reschedule the return flight after her sister passed away, and submit to them a copy of the death certificate as evidence of the reason for the reschedule, which I did. When her sister passed away a few weeks later, after the initial return flight date had passed, I called CheapOair again to reschedule my wife's return flight. This CheapOair representative then told me that I had to purchase a whole new, one-way flight ticket at the FULL FARE RATE! This contradicted what their other representative previously stated. I will never book a flight using CheapOair again.
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
