I booked a flight online through CheapOair website and was charged a set price. I called CheapOair customer because I had entered my middle name wrong and wanted to correct it. I wasn't able to do it online. The person I spoke with told me that it was a $25 fee. The next day the agent called and said that something had change and he would need to give a different number. He said that he would cancel the previous booking and guaranteed a refund because they can't take PayPal payment.
To make a long story short they charge my card more that the cost of the tickets $480 per person( 3 tickets) said that it was change fees. I did not make any other changes to the tickets. I am trying to dispute it with my credit card company and PayPal since they took two bookings. These people are pure evil. I will never again go through a third party again. I am going directly to the Source. (the Airline) I would have gotten hotel and car rental from them. They may get a little but loose a whole lot. -I am strong believer in Karma. I am not done. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and tell everyone that I know is traveling to avoid CheapOair. Customer service is so bad. SCAMMERS!

It is very easy to search for flights. Also, it provides cheaper options. But if there is an option to hold a ticket for a few hours before doing the payment it would be very helpful. Anyway overall the experience is very good.

A little confusing on selecting seats and the fees associated and the ads for travel assistance and travel protection get to be overwhelming. Other than that the interface was good. First time purchasing tickets for two guests so let's see what happens.
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
