Trash, this website, the chat & the phone reps are all trash. Do they train them not to be helpful. I selected to use them to arrange a flight to and from a location. First the depart & return city was changed then the return date was changed. I chatted with their ridiculously unhelpful system who placed me on hold with the message I'll be forwarded to other party in 4 minutes. I waited over an hour but no one appeared. I found there Customer service number and was told because that airline doesn't flight from where I want to go they can't help and the airline doesn't allow changed or refunds.
It was easy to use and reliable.
I got Great service in sort notice of time.

I bought flight for my mom to go here in Canada, bought 4months ago so get a cheaper price of course. The departure is on July 19,2022. Starting june 15 2022 they kept sending me email and saying there is cancellation and changes regards to flight no alternate date, i can refund or cancel it and buy a new one and i was like are you sure? The price now is so expensive, i want a flight for my mom and find me one. So thankfully after 10 days they callback and gave a flight and we were ok.
Then same day before it ends, i noticed that the flight is is again cancelled. And called them to asked then they told me that the flight is not available for the price i bought it and i have to pay price difference of $9000 again i was what? What kind of service do you have!
And why is that is not available the price? Why you cheapoair selling flight at lower price then you will asked for a price difference when the travel date is almost near? We really don't understand we feel like we were scam! Why you have to sell those kind of amount then afterwards you will tell the price for the flight is not available, thats why we bought it 4 months ago so we can have and buy a good price, then you will tell us is not available how come? For how many years that were travelling and booking flights, this is the first time we experienced this kind of service! You, CheapOair gave us a lot of stress and damage. Can you imagine the reason why my mom needs to go in canada and we planned it ahead of time then you will just destroy it? What a kind of service!
And lastly your costumer service is the worst! Kept transferring me to different agent, then wait for hours then sometime it will be disconnected and no great answers from them and hardly for them to understand.
Cheap? Not so much when you add in all the extras such as paying for your carryon and a checked bag. I'm wondering what my personal item is going to hit me for. May be my first al last time with CheapOair and Frontier.
I got a promo code for $15 off my booking, but for some reason i was not allowed to add it to this specific booking. Very disappointed about that, so a 1-star deduction.
Answer: I would not use Cheapo under any circumstances. Look at the 698 (!) complaints at the Better Business Bureau website. They hide under the name Fareportal, which is the parent company.
Answer: Don't use them. Book through the airline. I paid to select my seats, then a week before my flight they put me and my companion in the middle seats in different rows!
