On Sunday May 15th, 2016 I was traveling from Frankfurt,( flight#478) to Montreal to reach my connecting flight (#6692) to Ottawa.
Upon arrival in Montreal I cleared customs, picked up my suitcase and approached Air Canada connecting flight desk, only to find out that boarding pass for Ottawa flight can not be issued, since I wasnt on a passenger list for any flight for that afternoon.
I was directed to Lufthansa ticket sale desk to clear the problem. Upon talking to Lufthansa officer I was practically moving back and forth for an hour and a half between Air Canada desk and Lufthansa desk pulling every single time heavy suitcase, a back pack and a violin case.
Considering I had a printed ticket, indicating my flight # to Ottawa and the fact that reservation was practically nonexistent for that flight I must assume there was some sort of mistake committed. As a result reservation was made, but no place has been offered for me for any flight that evening.
I had no choice, but to travel to Ottawa by a bus.
I was booking a complicated itinerary trip 3 weeks before my departure. My major consideration was the price, I was ready to wait for a longer time for a connection flight as long as I would get a good deal. After comparing multiple booking services CheapOair was my top choice - easy to use and lowest price =) Clear winner.

The times of the flights were changes twice but I loved that Cheapoair actually sent you an email to let you know and to see if it's ok with you.
