Worst Service EVER! Ordered a couple chairs in May. I decide to call to find out why i haven't received my order that was to be here end of June. Nobody would call, email, or text back. Had the delivery guys call once other items finally showed up, (only way to get a hold of the company) to inquire where the rest of the order was? They said it was delayed and would be delivered early Aug. Now end of Aug, I get a call saying "Sorry, none in stock" WTF? You didn't know this in May? June? July? TOTAL SCAM! SAVE YOUR MONEY! Give it to a company that gives a F***!

I ordered an item on 3/19, with standard shipping of 3-7 business days. They charged my card promptly for the item and shipping on 3/19. After the 4th business day, the item still hadn't shipped. Called customer service for an update, and was told they have up to 7 days to SHIP it, but I was also told the recipient would receive it by the 28th. As of today, shipping tracking shows that it will be there on the 30th. Which is 9 business days. Sadly, this was a gift for someone's birthday which will have passed by that time. Huge disappointment. If you do buy from CB2.com just know that it will take a LONG time for them to actually process and ship your order.

Irresponsible packaging

While the products are ok, I am complaining about the packaging. Two sets of sheets came wrapped in bubble wrap. Lots of it.
And there's no way to complain on their website.

CB2 has a great selection of items that mix well with vintage mid-century pieces. I found their shipping to be super slow but Im generally happy with the quality of the products. I was slightly unhappy with part of the design of one of the items I ordered and when I said as much in the review, they contacted me offering to accept a return. I did not explore whether or not they would actually allow me to return something I had installed in my home because I searched enough before buying to know nothing else out there is any better. When it came time to install one of the items, I realized a piece was missing. They may have failed to include it but its more likely it was lost in the pile of house parts that accumulated during a lengthy renovation. Regardless of who was at fault, CB2 sent me replacement components entirely free of charge.

I do wish they would iron out a system for allowing CB2 returns at Crate & Barrel stores given how few physical CB2 locations there are since they expect customers to pay return shipping. In my experience, most retailers that don't have a good system to accept in-store returns take on the cost of return shipping in the interest of customer service.

ZERO stars for CB2!
September 8, 2019

DON'T ORDER from CB2 or Crate & Barrel! I have an online order, paid in full and can't get anyone to respond to an email or return a call to set up delivery! When you call their 800 #, you get told your wait is 10-20 minutes... and they will hold your place in the queue, and call you back... that was 6 days ago! I called a CB2 storefront, they were able to confirm the order was paid in full, but couldn't help with delivery... at least I could speak with a human... all she could do was get my message to CB2 and ask them to call me... again NO CALLBACK! I've never seen such POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Expected more from a Crate & Barrel subsidiary!

DO NOT BUY FROM CB2
June 20, 2017

I canceled on a backorder in May, yet order was sent to me in mid-June and charged to my Debit Card! It has been several weeks and I am still waiting on my credit as I have written several times without 1 response from CB2. Horible customer service, nothing like Crate and Barrel...

Horrible service!

I ordered a dining table from them in May 2021 which was set to come in on July 2021. The. I get an email stating it's now backordered till September. September comes and I get another email it's back ordered till November. I get another email and it's now back ordered till December. During this time I called the time twice to complain about the inaccurate shipping dates. They only offered to waive the delivery fee. Finally the end of December I get an email my item is being shipped and to pick a delivery date. Well I got the item today and guess what it's freaking damaged. The dining table is cracked and chipped. The dining table I had to wait 9-10 months for. So I call CB2 and they express they can send me a replacement and no won't get it till MAY! I don't understand why I should have to wait additional months for an item that showed up damaged. They only offered me 10% off which I honestly think is a slap in the face for the simple fact they have had my money for months. I will never buy from them again. Their just horrible

They took our money…but couldn't deliver…the schedules went from December, early January, mid January, to mid March they mid April then Mid May…this company is horrible. I will never buy anything from CB2 again..

Buyer Beware

Worst online shopping experience I've ever encountered. A month ago I ordered a small item from CB2. When it hadn't shipped a week later, I contacted Customer Service to ask when it would ship, and proceeded to get a massive runaround from them for the next two weeks as they kept telling me it was about to ship, only to never receive any shipping notice. When it still hadn't shipped after 3.5 weeks, I asked them to just cancel it, and was told it was already at FedEx and it was too late to cancel. However, I still hadn't received any kind of shipping info, and the website status still said "preparing for shipment". I called back later and was told they would promptly send out another one since they had no idea where the first one was... guess what, two weeks later and still haven't received anything. I finally called today and told them they would be canceling my order, but they now say they have to send it to customer service and I can expect to hear from them in 48 hours. Not once in all this did they offer any kind of concession to the customer, not even to send it via faster shipping. Total garbage, and I absolutely will not be buying from them or their related companies again.

Ordered a set of outdoor furniture. Value around 3000+ USD.
It showed "available" on the website. But it was a lie.
What should have been one single simple order turned into a marathon of ignorance and pure idiotism.
The stuff was not available and took 2 months for the first items to ship!
So far I had 5 deliveries to my house because it seems a 5 year old is manually running their business.
- First time one out of 5 chairs came
- second time the wooden chair bases of half the remaining chairs came
- third time parts of the cushions came
Etc etc.
Every time they delivered parts and pieces of my order and magically while it showed shipped as complete it disappeared along the way. Either they are utterly incompetent at CB2 or their logistics "partner" stole from them every single time. Probably both.
Had hours and hours of emails and phone calls and these customer "support" people at CB2 are flat out lying and not doing anything to acknowledge their $#*!up and the ridiculous process and wait.
Since they rotate constantly you have to repeat your request multiple times before anything happens. They say they did sth and then you wait a week or two and nothing happened. You follow up and some random other person re-starts the entire thing. Excruciating and
Painfully slow. In addtion to the time wasted with "customer support" each single shipment took about 4 weeks because you need to schedule a delivery with fragile pak once they have it in their warehouse. They take their sweet time before they even allow to schedule even though tracking shows they received it days or weeks ago. Then another 1-2 weeks until they actually deliver. Several times they claimed I was not home even though I took the day off to receive the delivery. Then ofc every single time they only showed up with pieces. Another time they flat out rejected delivering at all which triggered another 4 weeks "customer support" marathon. Turned out they stole half of the delivery.
Nerve wrecking. Disrespectful. Utterly Incompetent.
Until today I have not received the full delivery and am still waiting for some seat cushions.
By all means - Stay Away!

I just had the worst experience with the "customer service" department at CB2. We purchased their white Terrazzo OUTDOOR coffee table in April 2022, was delivered in June 2022. The coffee table was delivered for and extra $119, pick up was not an option for us. The table was delivered with a small chip which after waiting months for delivery we didn't feel is was a big enough deal to wait several more months for a replacement. At the time of purchase I don't recall covers for this table being available. They are now available but no where when you go to buy this table does the website tell you, "you must also purchase our cover to ensure the integrity of the table." I just now went through the online process of purchasing this table. The cover shows up only in the "items you might like" area and it's only in second place. The care instructions say to cover it, which I did (or move it indoors which is unreasonable for a 400 lbs table). I covered it as I do all my outdoor furniture in the winter and other inclement weather. When I went to uncover my outdoor furniture recently I was shocked and heartbroken to see the table falling apart…tons of chips. I attempted to glue a few (4 pieces) of the chips back on (of of the several…guessing 50-70 pieces). When I realized this was an impossible task I decided to contact CS. That was a total joke…they basically use anything you say, take it out of context and basically tell you too bad, it's totally your fault and we will do nothing to help you. The only thing they offered was to help find a place for us to pay for repairs. The style of their items are good but they lack quality and CB2 doesn't stand behind their products. I'm not the only customer with this exact same issue. One would think they would see a pattern here and do something beneficial about it. I feel over a barrel here. I loved the look of the table and we searched high and low for something nice for our outdoor space. Now our table is junk…literally in pieces. I am devastated and am feeling totally betrayed.

Btw - when people leave reviews, CB2 tells the customer how sorry they are and to reach out but as I just found out…that's total lip service.

Updated - CS just emailed me offering $100 off and an additional %10 off with free shipping. While this is a step in the right direction (hence 2 stars rather than one as I originally gave, I'm not sure this is adequate considering the facts. You can decide. I thinking on it still.

Ordered chair May 18 when it was in stock; CB2 shipped it immediately. When I didn't receive it they claimed it was "lost," but by then it was back ordered until, supposedly, July. They strung me along for months as I called multiple CS agents, waiting on hold an hour each time, to get status. Also tried email to CS. Each time the agent (Alejandra, Nilsa, Carl, Linda, Sue, Caley) promised to call me back with status but never did. Each time the agent promised the replacement chair in late July. Caley even gave me her email address so I could check on ETA. July 26 I emailed Caley for status. She replied that chair was not back ordered until late Sept. I replied in email "PLEASE CALL ME." Within 30 seconds, instead of calling she sent an email vacation responder and ignored subsequent emails. I reported her and the other problems to management and cancelled the order. I no longer think Crate & Barrel is a trustworthy furniture company. Their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced.
