Brought a 2020 Nissan Murano from carvana. Had it about 6 months. Decided to sell it back to carvana which they said was fine because I found a more fuel efficient vehicle. Well after sending all my documents in they came up with a lie saying I need more documents because i had multiple names on the loan. Big lie I am the only one on the loan. They lied because they did not want to buy it back. Never again will I purchase from carvana.
I ordered a vehicle from Carvana. We had a 7 day test drive and notice a few things that needed to be fixed. Per Carvana these things should have been taken care of before the car was listed for sale. They were not... It took over 7 days to get the car in to the shop to be fixed, even with the warranty I still had to pay out of pocket for issues that Carvana said were taken care of... 80% of the time since I bought the car it has been in the shop to fixed the electrical issues. Then I received an email and text stating that my title and registration were in the mail. 2 weeks before my temp tags expire I find out from the DMV in Jeff City that Carvana did not file paperwork or pay for my registration that was rolled into my loan and now Carvana is saying that it is my responsibility not theirs. They are sorry for multiple times that they have given me misinformation...
DO NOT BUY! More problems than ever. Costs way more money than it should have as well.
We purchased a $40k car from Carvana and after paying for the car upfront, when the car was delivered we noticed that there were 2 cracks in the windshield. I took this car to be inspected within the 7 day window and was told the cracks were previously filled. Carvana failed to disclose this information, so what else has been broken and repaired that we do not know about. BEWARE. I would never buy a car from Carvana again. Horrible customer service that just argued with me about the cracks even existing. No wonder they are bankrupt. It's absolute insanity that you can purchase a $40k car and not even be told the windshield would be cracked.
The one in warrensville Ohio is horrible. I got one car from them, this woulda been the second one but after this experience they lost me for life. They play games to much, over priced cars for cars they don't even have in stock. I highly recommend just going to a dealership. There's a reason why there is so many bad reviews. I didn't wanna accept it but now I realize why… 0/5… Complete trash & they are scheming with the title look into it on YouTube..
The buying process was easy enough but they could not complete my registration in the three month time period they had. I gave them all the information they needed but they were delayed in responding and now have left me for two weeks with out a car I can drive, they are unwilling to pay for a rental car and can't give me a definitive date of when my car will be registered. They are good at taking your money but take no responsibility for their mistakes nor concern for greatly inconvienceing their own costumer.
Their process of purchasing is easy but hope that you don't have a problem with the vehicle because the next steps are very difficult to maneuver and they like to hide behind the computer and pass the buck to anyone else to anyone else and therefore the items do not get complete. Yes you can take advantage of the 7 day return policy however if you go over 400 miles they will charge you a dollar per mileAnd all that time in mileage is added on going back-and-forth to service dealers getting the problem fixed
Attempted a purchase online-right away no issues. Within maybe 30 mins, the s@#$storm started. All of a sudden they would need this document or that, oh, and wait now it has to be notarized? It went on and on-every time I talked to customer service I got completely different information-including what time they worked until. When I asked what time they went home she went quiet... I finally asked her "is it different for everyone or something?" her answer? "yes, kinda". Oh ok very helpful. All the while I'm battling a deadline that continues to pass at very arbitrary times-causing me to have to restart the purchase over and over. Needless to say, I will be passing completely on buying from them. Don't waste your time!
Tried to sell my car on carvana. What a waste of time. Entered in the required numbers including ******* miles, They said I had to put in *******. So I put that in. 2 weeks later I went to update the selling because it needed new brakes and was informed I had to put in ******* miles. I called the customer, which opened more than an hour later than expected and got nowhere slowly...
The online part was easy but when it came time to getting my vehicle on my scheduled date it became a problem. Got emails and txts all the way up till the day before delivery saying it was coming then last second said they were having issues and it got pushed back over a week. Paying car insurance for a vehicle I don't even have right now. Representative on the phone was no help at all with answering my questions
Just paid off my van a couple weeks ago and have my title in hand. Now I'm selling and I got my CarFax report to get started. CarFax values my van at $21,670.00, so I assumed Carvana would knock about $1,000 off for their effort. Was kinda surprised when Carvana offered me $300.00. Yes, THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS! What a JOKE. Never going to their site again, for sale or purchase.
Carvana has been the WORST car buying experience we ever had. First they tried to sell us a car that was damaged in transport (for no discount). Then new car was missing things. Then sent wrong VIN and car info to state and couldn't register. Now over 2 months later, My tag expired and Carvana won't help.
Don't buy from them unless you want to be driving illegally. They had over 3 months to get my car registered and titled in Pennsylvania and they failed. My temporary paper tag expired 11 days ago and I still have no registered or titled car. 3 times I sent them all the documents they asked for same documents each time and when I'd call they would blame me. I would call they'd say they need me to send again. They are known for this they are fast to sell you, but after the sale they FAIL!? BUYER BEWARE!
Customer service has lied on multiple occasions about my refund that is now a month past due! I was told multiple times I would receive a refund and when I called for a status, the rep told me that I am not eligible for a refund. After taking screen shots of multiple messages and emails regarding the return of my money and sending them to Carvana, the rep said she would try and submit my case for review and refund. After still not receiving a refund, I am now told it will be an additional month! I have been told multiple times that a manager will be in touch regarding my case and no one has called. Just tonight I received an email that a manager will not be calling, that the rep already told me I'd be receiving a refund and they are closing the request to speak to a manager. They are incredibly dishonest and misleading.
Buy if you don't want to spend in different dealership, but You will spend your precious time in repair center.
I had my first car that is not drivable so I had to return it after spending 5+ hours in repair center.
My second car has missing parts that denied by Carvana or SilverRock. Both of them keep saying talk with them and you are in the middle don't know where to go. They both keep apologizing without doing anything.
Terrible experience!
We are a Carvana family. We were on our 3rd Carvana car last Saturday (9-30-23). 30 seconds into our test drive, our car did on the highway leaving us in a terribly dangerous situation. We immediately called South Austin Carvana for help; they put us on hold. During this time, they quickly processed our trade in. We were lucky that a stranger helped push us out of the way and drove us back to the South Austin Carvana.
After making us wait for over an hour, we were put on the phone with "Johnny" who told they own the van now, so we could feel free to but another car?!
The inspection was either very incompetent or purposely neglectful. These actions left us in a seriously dangerous situation and wrecked our day to day lives because now we STILL NEED a car and no longer have our van. It is horrifying how insensitive and short-sighted these decisions were by Carvana that day. This whole situation makes Carvana look like comic book villains.
First, I loved browsing all of the cars available. There were over 14,000 cars to choose from. There were so many options in order to filter the searches. I always used, leather, sunroof, gps navigation, V6 engine. There were about 900 cars that fit the description. Ultimately, I settled on a 2015 BMW 535. The price was $23,900 and I only put $1,000 down- no trade. At first I was leary about putting my sensitive personal information online, because of past experience, plus a copy of my drivers license. However, everything went off without a hitch. There are a few options for delivery of your new vehicle, which was very convenient. I chose the delivery to home option. Eight days after I paid for the car it was delivered to my front door. I test drove my Beemer and that was it! I had 7 days to return the vehicle but there was no way that Baby was going back. Best experience Ive had buying a vehicle. I give Carvana.com a perfect 5 stars.
I tried to buy a vehicle from CARVANA, and it took several days to get delivered. Here is the thing though, the day they were supposed to deliver the truck, their truck driver hit my vehicle and the deliver was never made because I refused to get that. Now this is where it gets me, they still charged me the shipping fee. The only reason I refused the truck was because their driver hit it with a truck and it was not the vehicle advertised anymore. Dont make the the mistake and buy from them
I bought and paid off a car in April of 2022, still have not received the title. They 1st said they didn't have it, then later admitted they did have it and now say I should get pay to get a duplicate title. However I can't without a lien release which they say they can't provide
Approximately 3 months ago. I bought a car from caravan. Oh it's easy to buy a car from this website. Unfortunately after 3 months the timing belt broke and to get it repaired was an absolute nightmare. Not worth the BS. Unbelievable do not purchase a caravan car it's a scam.
Super easy experience to sell a car. Gave details of my car, Uploaded some documents, got a quote and scheduled a time for them to come pick up the car. I had some issues with the title before they would come get the car, which is the only reason it took more then a week to complete the process. Cut me a check and took the hunk of junk away. Awesome!
Answer: "Customer Service"? There is no customer service. It's just email runaround and they sell the car out from under you without even telling you. And... they keep your deposit. It's more like customer DIS-service
Answer: Don't buy from them. The are just like used car salespeople. No difference! Rip-off!
Answer: I had the most amazing time buying a car through Carvana; I got a loan quikly, got my car in a couple weeks and the car is an awesome car; its all registered for me and I just got it inspected, passed no problem. My car only had 42,000 miles on it and rarley was driven. YES get a car from Carvana they are so great! My payments are super low too.
