When the original defects were found not to be the problem. I called carshield and told them the mechanic said it could be something else. Thanks carshield for keeping the claim open while I seek out the real problem

The first representative gave me the wrong information about the prices to get me to sign up at that point, and when I spoke with customer service representative the price changed and my gold went to silver. That was the only disappointment so far.

And Repair Shop contacted Car Shield and Car Shield sent Repair Shop refurbished Transmission.
I did pay some out of pocket but most of this huge repair was covered by Car Shield

I had taken my car to my regular garage only to find out that they did not take car shield. So I called car shield and they sent a tow truck to take it to another place that was really close to my house. My car was fixed the next day. I did have to pay for a couple of things that the car shield did not cover, but it was still way cheaper than would it would have cost me without it. And no charge for the tow.
