These people charge for the same service that you can get from comparison sites, and the fact that it is a charging service is not clear, the money that I paid, I expected to be deducted from the car rental, no this charge is on top of the car rental all they do is reserve it which you can do yourself.

It's been now more than 3 weeks that CarFlexi is not answering our emails, and keeping our money. We were stuck In Cancun airport for 5 hours with no car, and had to rent another one for our trip. Big SCAM.
I received confirmation and an E-voucher, but there was no record of our car rental on the Europcar system when we arrived at our destination. Our only option was to rent another much more expensive car, as the class of car that we booked was "sold out".
I informed CarFlexi of the incident and asked for a refund. They have not responded at all. I've sent three email requests this week, and have had no response at all.
From now on I will only book directly with the car rental companies. Something like this can spoil your entire holiday. We were lucky that there was another car available(even though more expensive). If there was not, we would have been completely stuck.
Sadly again I have to wite about this company since the issues that I had have yet to be resolved. Again I have to warn you for doing business with Carflexi. The only way I got a reaction to my previous complaint was through posting a review for the world to see. No reply ever before that post. So, here is my experience since that contact. We are 2,5 weeks on in time and I still have not received my money back. I have received 2 mails that they are working on the situation, but no results yet. After being stood up at the rental place almost 4 weeks ago that they didnt received a mail from Carflexi and coulndt help me I am still waiting for my refund. Let's see if this review will create a positive movement from this horrible organisation.
CarFlexi is extremely unethical and dishonest in their business model and actions. I unfortunately used them to book a car, and even though the car rental company had administrative problems with the booking and cancelled the booking, CarFlexi still refused to refund on the money. They therefore added NO value and expected to be paid for this. Their actions here are even in contrast with their own terms and conditions.

Liguei para a empresa, Masterking, avisando sobre meu horário de devolução e me informaram que precisaria pagar uma taxa de €40 para devolver fora do horário.
Li os termos e condições da carflexi e não encontrei essa cobrança.

Even though the rates might look good I lost more than 660 Euro through Carflexi.
I paid for two booking in South Africa which has to be cancelled due to Covid flight restrictions in Germany. Cancelations were made well in advance but Carflexi did not make any refunds. I am taking legal action, but to prevent a similar nightmare rather pay a few Euros more and use reputable company!
I would give zero stars if it was possible.
I booked a car for 6 days on my travel to Mauritius via Carflexi. The voucher that I received upon paying for the initial deposit did not contain any information about the actual vendor. The instructions were clear in that someone would meet us at a designated exit gate at a pre-agreed time. SO we land on time, get the designated area on time and lo and behold, no one is there. We walk around for ages, asking different people if they were looking for our party. We then resort to calling the contact number on the voucher which goes through to voicemail. I then proceed to go round all the other car rental agencies I can find wonderign if they can find us on their list. But no luck. Eventually, I am forced to book another car.
We were due to be met at 0830 at the exit gate. At 11, the rental agency contacts us from the Soleiro agency claiming that they're waiting for us there. Are yous serious?
And so comes the ordeal with Carflexi. I contact them to complain about the no-show and the ordeal I then went through. And their response is to side with the vendor. They don't take any blame at all for their failings. At this moment in time, I've lost my deposit, despite having done everything correctly. Turned up on time, called when there was a no-show, etc.
And it's not like they were hugely cheap either. The main reason I booked via their website was for the convenience of being met at the gate.
Please do not use their service. It's a waste of time and money with poor customer engagement. I will post this everywhere I can to deter potential customers from taking a risk that just isn't worth it.
They are working with different rental companies which are not all honest and reliable.
First time I booked with them all went smoothly.
Second time I booked it was Firefly. They are scammers. They are systematically fleecing the customers by adding extra costs and insurance even if a full insurance package is booked. So the final amount is way higher than the amount on indicated on the voucher. I have informed carflexi about this but they don't feel resposible.

I booked for the first time a rental car through CarFlexi. The local Europcar could not provide the car class as they said they dont have that or any similar car as were appearing on the website! The only reason I wanted to rent a car from them because they had around seven 4 wheel drive cars which were the only one we were looking due to driving to the mountains which a big amount of snow.
When we arrived the man said they don't have even one of these cars so gave us a two wheel drive car and not even providing the snow chain saying it is not needed as this car would be good enough.
We nearly had few accidents, the car was not able to drive in the current condition at all and we were stuck in the middle of the way as the car wouldn't go farer! We lost the money for our accomodation in the planning destination and yet had to pay for another hotel in the middle of our way waiting for the weather to get better.
Absolutely not recommending. Liars!
Scam company, stay away!
I booked a car with the company. When I got to the airport to collect car, the office had no recognition of my car reference. Bear in mind they had taken a deposit of £50 and the remainder was to be paid on collection of car. Because I was stuck with no transport, I had to book another car directly with another company at the airport I arrived into. Despite numerous requests to carflexi to refund the £50 they are refusing to - very dishonest and unethical way of doing business! I would avoid this company at all costs.

They quote a price when checkin out but then charge a higher price to your credit card. This is pure scamming. I cannot believe they are allowed to operate and pay VAT. Police should investigate. If they do not refund me the full amount in full asap I will go to extraordinary lengths to prosecute these dishonest people.

ZERO STARS would be more accurate. Voucher price 176€ final cost 472€. Do not trust the voucher they supply after you've filled in all the details of car size, insurances then leave details of credit card on the website... etc. Unforunately this information is not passed on to the hiring company and then they go all out to include every insurance they can. Unfortunately, last thing I needed at midnight is a debate about cost, so I signed and left with the car believing that I'd get refunded once I returned with proof of my voucher. Oh no, no, no you can't because you've signed for the car. I'm in the process of reporting, please do not trust.

The company mediates to different rental companies and charges the credit card without pointing it out beforehand. So my rental car cost 410 EUR instead of 220 EUR in the end! There is no phone number or email on the website for contacting, only the contact form, to which no one ever answers back.
I paid a deposit of 29.60 pounds to Car Flexi to pick a car from boycar at Antalya airport.No car and no rep. I had to borrow a mob phone to call the company. A rep appeared 20 mins later and said the car in question was not returned due to covid by the hirer and found that hard to believe.He suggested another company HelloCar. The guy appeared 20 mins later with a similar battered car and charged me 207 euros. Later the next day I found out that the rental for the same no of days should have cost 117 euros.

My flight was 20 minutes late and I waited two goers for them to show up
Not only they didn't show up, no email and no text to tell me what was happening
After two hours I finally called them and they were located in downtown Tirana 1 hr and a half away (traffic considered also)
When I called they told me that it was my fault because my flight was late
Therefore they didn't have to wait for me so they rented out the car that I had put over $200 as a down payment
And when I requested refund they said that THEY DO NOT OFFER REFUND
$#*! COMPANY

I was calling them for almost 2 hours, but there was no response. I had a booking with them. Avoid this company. Thy are unprofessional. They have charged me with a deposit!
Their affiliate tried to sell me another set of insurances - when i pointed out that i already had insurances with Carflexi they said that that was not applicable to them and that i had to take an additional $4000 indemnity insurance against any unforeseen issues. When i pointed out that i had taken full insurance on their vehicle rental i was refused a car - this left me out of pocket and stranded with my kids kilometres away from the airport - i had to hire an additional vehicle from another vendor at a premium. None of the published Carflexi customer service numbers were working and at present a week later i have not had any contact on the emails lodged - none of my money has been returned for a service i was refused - my voucher number CFFB66C3
On the 3rd of July I entered into a contract to hire a car in Christchurch on the 23rd of August for 4 days and paid $79.23 as a down payment deposit.
The time for hiring the car Covid struck and the car hire could not be taken. Obviously I could not take possession of the car or could the car hire company provide the car.
Car Flexi refuse to give my money back or provide a credit on the basis that I did not comply with their cancellation policy. This company has no New Zealand office and is based overseas. How can one or the Court lodge a claim against them.
