We booked a Ford Focus Estate which we got, however it had many unattended scrapes, and an Aircon that had no stamina, even though the days never reached 30 degree temperature. When collecting the car they said that we hadn't taken insurance and needed to add 22 Euros per day to the charge. These are professional con artists and are very economical with the truth, or perhaps have no intention of ever telling me the truth. What are the avenues to pursue, it appears that we have no recourse! I would like to describe the situation with my car booking on CarFlexi. I have booked a car for 7 days from Sabiha Gokcen Airport Istanbul. It was written in the voucher that I would be met with a sign with my name near 18 columns outside the the airport. My plane landed at about 20:00 and I was at the appointed time at about 21:00 BUT THERE WAS NO ONE! Nobody met me, the answering machine of car rental company "Essence car rental" was not working. I waited 2 HOURS after all I had to contact another company which organized everything perfectly within 15 minutes. As a result my wife froze waiting for 2 hours I was stressed because my vacation started off disgusting. I would like to see your comment on this. I have chosen you from many sites and I hope that everything will be perfect. What I have now, more expensive car and no returned deposit. I awaiting comment from CarFlexi for more then 7 days but no reply and I will continue to write them all the time until I get my deposit back! Thanks!
2 hours before vehicle collection, phone from Warrington Branch saying No vehicles left. I booked 4 weeks in advance. No deposit returned. Hertz hire complaints dept failed to acknowledge emails or calls. Carflexi telephone lines based in Philippines. It's all a scam, please don't waste your money or time using this fraudulent company.
I booked a car in Christchurch for the period 17th August to 26th August. When booking, I paid CarFlexi $233.19 on 13th August 2021. This amount was split between car rental (+/- $89) and the balance was for insurance to cover excess in case of an accident. Due to the Covid lockdown in Auckland, I had to return the car on 19th August so that I could return to Auckland within the prescribed 48 hours. As a result, I only used 2 out of the 10 days of the car hire and insurance. By my reckoning, I am due for a refund of 8/10x$233.19 = $186.55. I have now sent three emails and phoned twice about this but am getting no response. I just feel I am being fobbed off by junior employees.
These people steal from you! They deducted 183 euro for a reservation at Sixt. Avoid them at all costs!
They sold us a Mini Van and thats what we needed for the size of our family.
But when we cane to pick up the car sub company they worked with offered us a sedan car which was not going to accommodate us. We couldn't possibly fit in. I called CarFlexi CS and agent told me to deal with the front desk person to get a cancellation paper but the person refused to give the paper to us. Had to wait hrs at the airport trying to resolve conflict before we end up paying more we had to get another car rental company.
Then I write an email complaining about the situation to CarFlexi. Ask the deposit they charged us to be returned for a service we didn't receive.
Guess what happened... They said they contact with their sub rental company which is GreenMotion. And they said we no show. When I said I have pictures and front desk persons name to them they get back and said we were late to pick up the car which was also a lie.
As a result they refused to return our booking deposit even though we get no service from them.
I came back and complain my bank about charges since this was not a fair charge. What a decent company should be doing is to apologize for the incident and inconvenience return charges.
Guess what they did... fought tooth and nail to keep the charges.
AND BEWARE THEY HAVE TERMS ON THEIR GENERAL TERMS OF USE THAT WILL PROTECT THEM IF CONFLICT HAPPENS WITH CAR RENTAL COMPANIES THEY USE LIKE IN OUR SITUATION.
I am still dealing with them as of now and NEVER EVER will choose either CARFLEXI or their sub/vendor in this situation GREENMOTION ever ever again. The emotional damage is going way beyond the financial. Last thing you like to do on a vacation is dealing with a company has no ethics
Do not use them! We payed quite expensive for a full insurance car rental and they never re-funded nor replied the several mails and Facebook posts. Go to their Facebook page and you will see that they are fake and that they do never reply no refund!
I wish I could give a minus rating. Avoid if you want peace of mind. They show cars available at cheap price but none of the cars are available. The call centre is rude and give lectures on ‘common sense' on being questioned.

I discovered CarFlexi through a "Cape Town Car Hire" search. CarFlexi came up indicating that they do bookings with all major car rental companies which immediately gave them credibility. The rates quoted seemed fair and the process easy. I booked a Europcar vehicle for the period 25 August to 1 September 2021 and submitted all my personal information. However, after paying an amount of R951.61 by credit card to secure the booking, I did not receive a confirmation email as promised by them and also could not reach them on their landline *******523 over a period of 2 days. I had to make another direct booking with Budget to secure a car for today for our travels in Cape Town. CarFlexi took my money without providing the service paid. The matter is being further investigated. I am urging other persons having had the same experiences to also place their comments. Avoid CarFlexi at all cost and deal directly with reputable service providers!

Pure rip-off. The car should be picked up at the airport, booked online in advance and a 3-digit deposit transferred in advance. Then I didn't get the car for no reason, the deposit was withheld, they didn't response my inquiries, something like that is called FRAUD. The positive reviews can only be bought. Unfortunately, these rip-offs get away with something like that. I can only recommend avoiding such dubious companies
The WORST car rental experience I have ever had. Booked a car through their site which lies about a discounted price. When I went to collect the car at Durban airport I cancelled the rental with Carflexi and rented direct from the agent due to all the hidden insurance costs. Carflexi refuse to refund my deposit stating that I rented the car through them. The voucher number from Carflexi was CF609AE1 and the voucher number on the invoice from the agent is E*******, CLEARLY NOT Carflexi voucher number. DO NOT as in EVER use this scam portal to book a rental car!

We have booked a car 42h before collection. 10 min later we have cancelled the booking due to poor reviews. The company didn't issue the refund as we have to cancel the booking 48h before the collection. Customer service absolute ignorant very disrespectful and difficult to reach. Es wird eine dubiöse Mietwagen Zusatzversicherung angeboten, die Kontaktaufnahme per Mail und Post wird nicht beantwortet, die Rufnummer ist UNGÜLTIG!
Wir haben bei Carfelxi (Emmanko AG) einen Mietwagen gebucht, die Zusatzversicherung für rund CHF 10,- am Tag EXTRA "Premium Excess Protection" haben wir sicherheitshalber auch Abgeschlossen.
Bedauerlicherweise haben wir den Mietwagen bei Übernahme nicht gründlich kontrolliert, woraufhin uns bei Fahrzeugrückgabe ein schleierhafter Reifenschaden in Rechnung gestellt wurde.
Sämtliche Unterlagen haben wir der Emmanko AG via E-Mail und gleichentags per Post gesendet. Nun sind zwei Wochen vergangen, weder eine Antwort per E-Mail noch per Post haben wir erhalten. Die auf der Website angegebene Rufnummer ist Ungültig.
Wir geben nun noch wenige Tage Zeitaufschub bevor wir unsere Rechtsschutzversicherung einleiten und den Anbieter direkt am Firmenstandort Betreiben.

The car was damaged and I paid 500 Euros to the car rental company (carflexi partner)
I paid the insurance fee to carflexi this 500 Euros should be refunded. Sent all documents and evidence to them but *******@carflexi.com has been silent for almost 2 weeks. No reaction from customer service and no refund. Looks like insurance fraud.
Attention il s'agit d'un site frauduleux. Ils affichent un montant avant la réservation et pendant le paiement ils font exprès de prélever une caution et vous disent plutard que le reste sera payé en agence. Au final le montant total n'est pas du tout le montant affiché lors de la réservation.
After making a booking through carflexi, with all the correct additional costs selected(like late arrival etc). I received a voucher with the total costs for the car rental. They gave me the idea I already payd a part ( like 80 euro). When I arrived at the rental company I was forced to pay 200 euro more then stated on the voucher. The guy told me this happens quiet alot. Also the 80 euro could not be recalculated with the price. DONT BOOK THROUGH CARFLEXI. Just find the rental company itself. They show misleading prices, and because you payed already they force you to take the rental, even if its more expansive. So on the end I payed 80 euro to Carflexi, for only making it throug their link. SCAM! I learned it! Just trying to warn you all!

Watch out for their scams.
You can pre pay for a car reservation with a debit card (f. Ex. Revolut), but when you go to pick up the car at the car hire company (Leasys, in Sardinia), you will be refused if you don't have a credit card. Car Flexi will then refuse to reimburse you the money (200 € in my case!)
Shameful business practices.
I was scammed with 40 euros by this company. They took my deposit via a debit card, only later to understand that the only way to rent and pay the full price is with credit card. Their customer support is the definition of horror and after 1 week of e-mails, they kept replying nothing, but: ''We shall not continue with the refund.
