I would give no stars if it was an option. Legit is one of THE worst cards that I have. Promotional balance is something they get everyone for. Still paying off a very high-interest rates, AND has hurt more of my credit score than my other cards. You want to hurt yourself with payments and credit. Get this card. I don't write reviews about credit cards, but I have to say a lot about this one. UGH.
Impossible to reach a living person, for questions there hour long recording gives. Interest rates are unreal!
So glad I couldn't figure out how to apply!
Synchrony Bank has Amazon billing. I couldn't pay my bill on line anymore. A representative talked with me and we discovered Synchrony didn't have the correct last four digits of my Social Security number. Then they asked me to send them a copy of my SSN card and driver's license. I refused. I told them they had the correct number on another Synchrony Bank card for another company's billing system they've taken over. And my Amazon bill got higher. I hate this bank and wish they'd be investigated. Headquarters in Florida and outposts in other parts of the country. I had cards with TJMaxx, Woman Within, and several others that this bank has taken over. I'm really upset about their takeover of other cards.
Credit card term says interest free for one year but at the end of the year charged 400 interest for 400 balance i have proof also the balance includes 400 interest as well no other company do that customers service is rude & pathetic
I don't normally write any reviews, but I sure think Carecredit deserves one. For anyone considering applying for CareCredit to pay any bills. DONT DO IT! If you plan on paying your bill fairly quick it might be ok, but if you're like me an lost your job due to the pandemic and can only make minimum payments trust me its a bad idea. I was about to pay my bill on the app when I noticed my bill went up $425 and its all interest... When I called they said it was because my promotion was over a month ago. Well $#*!! How was I suppose to know? I'm paperless and the damn promotional end date is at the end of your bill to top it off you really have to search for it. Any who, I asked them if they could please waived the interest as I can pull out from my saving and pay for my bill now without the interest add. I explained that I lost my job due to the pandemic and I just move because Washington state is too expensive to live at now. If he could please cut me some slack, that $425 is a bit much of an add to my bill. He replied with a hard "NO" I was over the month promotional date and he couldn't help me out. It's really messed up when a company doesn't at least try to help you out in any way when you're dealt a $#*!ty hand due to a $#*! virus. So! If you're not planning on paying them quickly Carecredit might not be the correct choice for you. You'll end up paying way more than what you borrowed. Thanks! I hope my review helps.
You have to love that their motto is we are here for you! My dog had a serious health issue and we had to run her into the emergency clinic. We tried to get a hold of care credit for two days and could Not get a hold of anyone because their system was apparently down. We had to put our charges on our credit card totaling $2500. I called care credit until I could finally get a hold of someone, I spent 30 minutes on the phone the first time and they hung up on me but before I even said anything. The second time I spent over an hour on hold waiting to talk to someone. This time she told me there was nothing they could do about those charges. I had requested that I could transfer that balance over due to the fact that it was their fault that their systems were not running, And she said no. So much for their
Motto, we are here for you! Not seeing it
I used this for expensive Surgery never had a late payment and was gonna have surgery and use it. Guess what they canceled the card! It's for emergency for Gods sake! I'm done with them my credit report took a nose dive. This is not cool.
If the user keeps track of accumulating charges and makes sure that payments for charges are completed before their due date, CareCredit works very well. I've been using the service for over ten years for both my own medical expenses and my cats' veterinary expenses, and have never had the slightest difficulty with it. On the rare occasions that I needed to speak with someone at CareCredit, I was treated efficiently and politely. I've recommended CareCredit to several friends, who are also very satisfied with the service.
Okay, I've had a Care Credit credit card for several years now, only a $500 credit limit. I've always paid my monthly bill on time and for the minimum amount due, often times more than that. I was paying off my entire balance so I could go to my dentist to get my 6-month teeth cleaned and an exam. Imagine my surprise when I found out that Care Credit had closed my account! Naturally, I wrote them, asking for an explanation, and they said "they had the right to do so." Imagine that! So, bottom line, if you have a Care Credit card, DO NOT pay off the balance or they will close your account!
So apparently if you try to get ahead and make your payment early it doesn't count... case: due date is 18th-$148 min
April payment on 5th $148
April payment on 30th $225
May payment on 24th $150
June late fee 18th
So apparently the may payment made on the 24th which should have covered the June due date of the 18th doesn't count... any payments made from the 18th of May to the 24th possibly the 27th (She didn't have an exact date) don't count towards the following months payment...
The prequalify process will say you are qualified for credit and to proceed with the process. After entering your personal information and ID, you are directed to call a customer service representative where they tell you After applying a hard credit pull and making your credit score decrease that you are declined. This is a misleading credit agency and if they lie in the beginning before you are even a customer what will they lie about when you become a customer.
I have had care credit for 3 years. Have paid on time every month. Each year they drop the credit limit to just above what I owe, thereby making it look as though I have not paid down the debt. It drops my credit score Everytime they do it. I called and asked why and they won't give me a reason other than it is reviewed yearly. I went out and got twice the limit with Dental First and they not only charge less interest but they have never dropped my 7500 limit. Do yourself a favor avoid care credit like covid 19.
We put In a dispute because we were charged 1500 when we only got 500 worth of work done they have the absolute worst customer service and the automated system takes forever one of the worst mistakes I've ever made would not recommend them to anyone
Worst customer service ever. The automated prompts sucks because it takes a couple sets of several prompts to even get to an option to speak to a live person. It took 20 minutes after that to get a live person on the phone. I had one simple question and after being on hold for 57 minutes, I have yet to get an answer because the representative hung up on me after waiting for a supervisor at my request. I simply wanted to know why my limit increased and I had not used my card since the 1st time over a year ago, he would not give me the information, he wanted me to go thru the trouble of logging onto my account and getting the exact dollar amount to verify when all he had to do was verify me by my personal information. I guess he got tired of waiting for Supervisor and hung up on me. I can't wait to pay off this card I will never use it again simply based on the terrible customer service.
My dog has kidney failure I went to a very good hospital in NJ to care for her. Good but expensive. The day before I acquired a care-credit card, ( I can't even say it, I want to vomit I'm so upset.) They gave me a credit line of $3000, the down payment for the hospital bill was $2700. Very nice, I had the money to pay. With care credit you have 6 months to pay so I took money out of my savings to pay off the balance $ 2700. About 5 hrs later I check my CC account to see if the payment went through and saw that it didn't. So I called CC AND WAITED 38 MINUTES FOR A PERSON TO ANSWER THE PHONE.! I proceeded to ask her why the payment didn't go through and she said it takes 24 hrs. Fine. That was two day ago. Picked up my dog today and the remaining balance on the bill was $1100. When I gave the lady my CC info she said the payment was rejected. The initial payment I made ( in full $ 2700) did not go through yet. Two days later mind you. I called CC and they said the payment I made $2700 WAS SUSPICIOUS. It will take 8 days to investigate. I paid off my balance so I could pay the rest of the bill today and it was SUSPICIOUS. Needless to say after that embarrassing time at the cashiers desk left me seething. I said all this so that someone else doesn't get a watermelon shoved up the u no what if they make a payment like that in good faith.
June 9,2021 Account or Financial manager, Eric, could not refund my $10 that was removed from my bank on Feb. 16,2021. I gave him 2 days to refund the $10 and he said he could not do it until the 26th of June. I told him to reach out to his boss and let them know of this account and call me on my cell phone by Friday. If it doesn't happen, I will update this review on Monday June 14,2021 or no later than Tues.
They say that the promotion is without interest but always when you are going to make the pay-off they invent a higher amount which is the interest. They don't know where that amount comes from and they tell you sorry man, I'm not authorized to remove the amount, I can only take the payment from you. This happened every payment I made. On April I let my balance on 0. Now I have $85 bill. I have 2 hours, on the phone nobody can tell me why I have $85 balance. Managers don't take the phone. On April was 3h, in the phone because nobody wants to deal with you. They just want you to get tired waiting in line and hang-up the phone.
They don't want to work with you at all and is not worth the time to apply! They are very unfair for what they advertise
Review your statement with a fine tooth comb. Beware of your promotional pricing and interest... stay alert. This is a low-down, money-grabbing, lying, unethical bank. And I know I'm not the first to speak this. And the customer service is terrible. Mobsters will treat you better. I will never use this card again. A bunch of thieves and ruthless crooks, Synchrony bank, and I'm being nice. For your own well-being and peace of mind, Stay Away!
Do yourself a favor, don't use these heartless people. Discover gave my a much better rate and very kind in doing so. They did not learn about customer service. Can't fix stupid
