I paid my monthly bill, and my bank account stated that I paid twice which I did'nt do. So the next day I called them and they said before they could see that I paid twice, I had to wait until it posted, but I could'nt compened this, if you could see the first payment why not the second. My bank gave me the number to the other payment, and they also said that they could pull it up by this number. They told me oh we see it now, but you have to wait 7 to 15 business days or sooner to recieve a check in the mail, this is a risk with the way the postal service is today, so I ask why can't you put it back on my debt card the same way I paid you, the customer service rep, said I do not know why we do it this way it is the policy.
Even if you're a customer, there's no way to get human. Call center keeps re-routing you around in a circle with this annoyingly cheerful voice. Finally got human by simply not responding to all the wheedling.

They are incredibly unclear about their 'promotional period' and if you don't pay the balance in full at that time, you are charged interest accrued over the entire length you have been making payments - accrued to over 1000 dollars. Had I known any of this I would have happily just paid my bill in full the day I left the doctors'. Total scam, horrible service.

Used this for major dental work. If I could've thought about it instead of needing emergency work for pain I would not recommend. Recieved 1st bill with late fee already on it. Recieved 2and bill with late fee even tho I made 3 payment 10 days before due date. Called and customer service was very helpful I hope. Also if it is not paid during the "interest free time limits" my total DDS bill will be 8k instead of the original 2k. Was also informed my bill would be 70. Per month minimum, this is deceiving. It's based on a percentage of balance. Seems like this is legal loan sharking to me. Oh and I can use it for my dogs veterinarian bills. Yeah right
I signed up for my card under the assumption it was 2 year (higher payment) at no interest. I was given the option and clicked it on the form. Signed contract and made first payment at the rate given. Fast forward and I am being charged monthly interest rate. I finally got to the third manager who again told me it was based on my medical office and if they offered the "Promotion that month". I don't recall ANYTHING saying that it was a promotion... I did the application myself through the website. Never connected to my medical office. They told me I better read the "FINE" print next time and I signed a legal document. This is a scam and so unfortunate. Who would sign up for the highest payment with interest... ESPECIALLY since I hit the NO INTEREST button and was APPROVED! I called the medical office and they said they do offer promotions with Care Credit and would have marked it on my paperwork. I said you had no access to my financial account, I did it personally. I was in tears and so disappointed. They were so rude on top of that offering no help and said only way out is to pay off the loan. I transferred the loan to a no interest card an hour later. I will NEVER use their services again. SCAM SCAM SCAM to people that actually use this for medical expenses and the card companies take full advantage of you.
This is a absolutely horrible company/card. Customer service is horrible, they are dishonest, unethical and they will screw you over even if you follow their contract rules. They have more lawyer's than employees. Don't trust this company, they should be shut down!
Read the fine print before signing up. I opened an account with them and did not realize it was a promotional plan until they hit me with a $500 interest charge. They will definitely take advantage of you.
I called because i just got the card and never used it somehow i owe 1000 on it already. I never went to the dentist to get work which is what it was for however i owe 1k and when i called the lady obviously didn't understand and was so rude her name is Janet by the way, i asked to speak with somebody else and she never said hold on she just muted me for 10 mins, Never got the manager. She was so rude and got upset because she didn't understand that i NEVER USED THE CARD AND OWE 1000. It just don't make sense
They charge so many fees for a credit card that promises no interest and no fees. Even paying ahead on my card, they charged me $50 for not paying on time. Even though I gave them $1000 more than they had asked for the previous month. Calling them up is such a waste of time and I am so happy that I am financially stable enough to pay the whole thing off. Other than that they would've charged 200% the original amount in fees.
This is this worst credit place I allowed my dentist to talk me to enrolling. I paid for 6 months before I knew I had credit protection which I didn't ask for. Then noone ever explained if I did not pay the dental bill in 12 months that I would be assessed interest on the total bill and then interest & penalties would continue to be assessed. Look for interested ones for Class Action Suit
I have a 700 credit score that I have worked very hard for, for years. This company was awful to work with. I have never written such an awful review but this has been absolutely ridiculous. I have all my bills set to auto pay. I tried to set this up half a dozen times. It would take a payment, then reject not notify me. I have used these same account numbers for years with other companies without issue. Then all of the sudden there is a problem with this one company. They would take my payment when they did call me, it would process fine, same problem next month. No matter how much I updated, no matter how many times I called it would not go through consistently. So they close my account! This has NEVER happened to me! I'm 28. In 5 years of building my credit, this has NEVER happened. So I call, speak to a different individual every time. They tell me make a payment and another in a week, it'll put my account in "good standing" and they will reinstate it... nope. Next person tells me they can't even do that. Ask for a manager, nope, can't talk to them. This has been the worst experience I have ever had and I plan to share with everyone. I already informed the dentist office who recommended it and they have now heard this a lot! I would never recommend this card. It's not worth the "perks" when their poor customer service and system damages your credit!
Care credit started off great, then as time went on they turned out to be dishonest. There promotional payment is unclear and makes absolutely no sense. Every customer service rep I spoke with speaks very broken English and doesn't know how to explain their promotions or even how to explain your bill to you.
Also, watch out for their credit checks they do often that ends in them decreasing your credit to the point that you can go from only using only 30% of your credit limit to utilizing 90% which in turn drops your credit score and then they turn and do another credit check less than 60 days later doing the same thing.

Unbelievable! I thought I had seen it all, especially lately. Here we are down here in MS and LA, some of us losing everything we have, and Care Credit has the nerve to send out an e-mail that your "thoughts are with us", then in the next sentence, you explain all the different ways we can pay on our card? Are you kidding me? I know that you are in business to take advantage of people like myself that have an emergency whether it's to help ourselves or our pets, but this is beyond disgusting. How do you people sleep at night?
U paid off $25 above my 5000 balance to assure it would be paid off even if a finace charge occured. The app showed a zero balance. Welp, unbeknownst to be, they added a charge of $2. By the time i realized there was a problem it was 6 months later and the $2 grew to $20 something. They had reported me as deliquent and refused to take the negative report off my credit report even though i paid it off, again! It negatively affected my credit score making it difficult to find housing in a competative environment. ALL OVER $2 THEY ADDED AFTER I PAID MY 5K BALANCE OFF! CareCredit DOES NOT CARE!
Don't try to use your rewards for this card by purchasing a flight! After using my rewards to purchase a flight, I needed to make a change. AFTER 4 UN-SUCCESSFUL trys to reach someone that could help me, I tried to make the change through the airline, but I was told that I had to go through Care Credit rewards since I booked through them. Tried 4 more times until I gave up completely and had to cancel my flight altogether because of NOT being able to even talk to someone that could help me. I have been at this since 9:00am this morning until 4:00pm today! During my 8 phone calls to them I was transferred 7 times and was on hold for more than 2 hours before getting disconnected.
Moral of the story, their rewards customer service is a complete JOKE so don't get sucked into getting the card for the rewards!
I would give no stars if it was an option. Legit is one of THE worst cards that I have. Promotional balance is something they get everyone for. Still paying off a very high-interest rates, AND has hurt more of my credit score than my other cards. You want to hurt yourself with payments and credit. Get this card. I don't write reviews about credit cards, but I have to say a lot about this one. UGH.
