Many sites like ours charge a fee in order to be able to offer you the features our site offers. Otherwise we'd just be like any other free classified site with very little to offer.

While I signed up to care.com a year or so ago, today is the first I've actually used it. So far it's non-stop requests for more money. My limited experience with this a year ago had me getting care for my mother from Home Instead. More money, but without the used-car-salesman feel. I naturally distrust anyone that constantly asks for more money. Even if I find a great caregiver, I would never recommend this site to anyone I actually like.
