I have been a member for minutes and the billing already is not clear, I wanted three months and then before I know it I show something about "check plan" and it came out to 147 for three months. Already unhappy, chatting in to have it fixed.

Please be more direct about whether the site is free or not. Presenting the service as if it is free to use made me assume that Care.com is paid by commission; then, being required to pay $40 to actually do anything made me frustrated. I would have avoided the site altogether if I had any other viable options. By contrast, if I had known the cost was $40 up front, I would not have felt deceived.
