Hi Dawn, We are a paid subscription service and not a free service. I'm sorry if you thought otherwise and therefore felt mislead. That was never our intention. Many sites like ours charge a fee in order to be able to offer you the features our site offers. Otherwise we'd just be like any other free classified site with very little to offer.

Well, while setting up the account you offered several first on my list choices and I selected them; haven't seen them yet even after upgrading to premium. Then, I clicked drop-down for senior care and 35 miles. It keeps changing to baby sitters and changes miles to 10. I then sent an email to you and it said you would get back to me right away. Today I got emails on 4 interested in my job posting. Most say not available now, and not any my original short list. I've just logged back in and will try to find the 888 number offered for contact after I signed up for premium. Really need to talk to a person because this is my first attempt with care.com. *******@yahoo.com.

I was led to believe that there is an option to find a vacation sitter on care.com. So far, I have not found it. It is literally why I paid for the service and it doesn't seem to be provided. Very disappointing.

Overall the experience is fine, but as someone who is not a senior but looking for temporary assistance while I recover from surgery, I'm having a hard time finding the right category to post in and therefore my matches aren't very on point. This also makes it harder to determine what kind of price ranges should really be set.

My family was looking for a aide for our sister with a developmental delay. Unfortunately the database is quite limited and basic requirements when asked for were difficult to get - ex resume or vulnerable sector check.

We decided to use the school board to help us source someone interested in this type of work.

This company also autorenews without alerting clients prior. They refused to refund the 3 months of charges applied when I found it on my credit card a week later. It is also very difficult to navigate cancelling through their website.

I signed up for a year and half the responses look like scammers, then I try to contact cleaners that are within X miles from the zip code and it doesn't let me send then I get prompted to upgrade to premium - make it simple, please! No value has even been delivered yet - what am I upgrading to, what is restricted right now - too confusing!

The program is not well explained before paving to pay Premium payment to review applicants. Should at least have chat box. But contact number would be better. I have a number of questions that are not answered in FAQs. HOW it works and FAQs should be available BEFORE I buy, as well as Chat box. So no, I will not change my initial rating. Fix this and I can upgrade next time I review. I hope that my experience will agree with this high cost!
