I was frustrated

I was frustrated. Before I took the Premium membership there were far more caregivers listed. Also when I signed in there was not an opportunity to update special needs, etc. as there was before premium membership was selected. Not sure why.

It was not clear that I needed to spend $38 a month to be able to respond to people that apply for a job. Why allow me to post for free but not reply to an applicant? There should be a box you tick that reminds you "although you will be able to post a job, you will not be able to hire any applicants without a subscription to premium". I felt I was misled.

We are a paid subscription service and not a free service. I'm sorry if you thought otherwise and therefore felt mislead. That was never our intention. Many sites like ours charge a fee in order to be able to offer you the features our site offers. Otherwise we'd just be like any other free classified site with very little to offer.

This is ridiculous! I tried to log in with my phone all day, your site doesn't recognize emails on cell phones. Now I have to sign up and pay money to pick up messages! This is a terrible scam!

On 'upgrading' it showed i would be charged $105 + tax. After putting in credit card info and paying it said i was going to be charged $131, which was the price pre coupon code that it accepted.

My nanny never signed up for the auto draft account so I was paying the service and Care.com took the money but the nanny was never paid. Tried to cancel the service multiple times and the system will log you out anytime you try. The chat feature only sometimes works and there is no phone number listed online to call. They ignore you when you ask for your credit card to be deleted from the system. They say they have to keep it on file until the end of the billing cycle, that they charge you in advance quarterly for. Then you account is charged again and somehow your account is back to active. This is fraud, shameful fraud.

You are too expensive and the monthly rate should not be automatic renewal. It should be ONLY ONE MONTH and the person not have to worry about auto renew.

You shouldn't have to pay these ridiculously high fees just to communicate back and forth with someone. Youre monthly, quarlterly, and annual fees are insane. This service should be free or MAYBE $10/month. The only reason I'm using this site is I thought it was free, and I've had three people respond to my listing. Just unbelievable. I wish I could give you zero stars.

Additional costs regarding the background checks should have been mentioned at the same time as the premium subscription rates. Had I known the background checks were going to be separate I would've gotten a smaller package

I am hoping the site is useful but do not know yet. If I find care or at least several qualified candidates through the site, I may upgrade the rating to 3-4 stars. One thing I am sure of though is the site's billing practices are horrendous. Thus, the current 2 star rating.
