DO NOT SELL ANY GIFT CARDS TO THEM
ITS A 100% scam
Went to sell three eBay gift cards worth for $300 dollars at card cash
Two days later they rejected my order
Then I tried to use the eBay gift cards on eBay
All three eBay cards are completely empty
And now scammed $300 dollars
Bought the gift cards directly from PayPal
Do not sell anything to them
They will take everything off the card
And act like the gift cards where already empty
Definitely will be getting an police report filed for sure
The ease of selling my gift card was unbelievable. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that it took well over the 48 hours once approved to actually see my funds. Granted, everything is slower since COVID-19, but honestly it shouldnt affect an electronic payment. Overall, can't complain and will def use again to sell and possibly buy gift cards, as well.
This is the third time I have received a card with ZERO balance on a $50 purchase. Why doesn't this company check the balance before they send the cards out? Super frustrating and a waste of time and money.
Put my gift card on the website and the day after my cards were at 0 balance and I never got paid. I lost over $700 in gift cards to this website. I reached out and they denied it, so now I will be taking them to small claims court.
DO NOT USE!
On 04/23/2021 I had six unauthorized withdrawals from my bank account that were withdrawn by Card Cash according to the information posted in my bank pending transactions ledger. The six withdrawals were posted to my account from 2:54 - 3:00 pm. The bank and CardCash (04/23/3021@ 15:30) were notified and the only communication I received from CardCash after the 1st voice notification was a request for the last 4 digits of the card used, the amounts of the transactions and the date they were posted. No word on if / when investigation started or will start. I would think minimally after someone reports fraudulent activity potentially tied to Cardcash they would advise the complainant with information concerning an investigation. I was disappointed they did not get back with me and provide information on starting an investigation, steps in the investigation and refund process or contact information for their fraud department.
Don't trust them. They are a scam. I bought a gift went to use it and found the balance had been wiped out by the original owner. Card cash is refusing to do anything. I bought a product they failed to do deliver thats fraud. Yes it's over the 45 day guarantee but I still paid for a product that was not delivered. Fraud fraud fraud.
Tried to purchase several gift cards but their system wont let me. Called support but was told that there is nothing they can do. It's either a fake business or they got some really bad software's. What a joke.
That's it for me. If the site works good for you then great. It just didn't work for me. First it complained about not being able to verify the address on my Credit Card. Yes, it really is the correct address. The PayPal landing page looks like a purchase page. That isn't such a big deal but it tries to authorize a $1.00 Paypal which I assume is for verification purposes.
Customer support gives you a ticket but then doesn't follow through.
In CardCash defense, when I logged back on it asked if I wanted that I had an uncompleted order and if I wanted to either discard the order or sell it. Like I said before, I have given up on CardCash but at least I know that I can use the Card.
If you are going to use the site to sell gift cards then try selling one for a nominal amount of money before selling a big one. I suspect that the site does work well for some people but if you have problems then you are out of luck getting help based on my experience.
I had some gift cards I received to stores that I never go to. I tried to re-gift them, but no one else was interested. So, I did some Googling and found CardCash. The process to sell my gift cards was super quick and super easy.
Tried six times and each time it was a different reason why i could not sell my gift card. They keep saying that the address on my card is wrong, which is clearly bogus because it works everywhere else. I think this is a scam that just collects people credit card info. Will be looking very closely at my credit report. Just give your gift card away or use or throw. Not worth dealing with it on CardCash.com
I recently had two McDonald's gift cards that I had purchased from CardCash closed out, by someone other than myself. When I contacted McDonald's, they said they would investigate. A McDonald's rep called me back a couple of days later (wonderful customer service!), and told me the cards I bought were reported as stolen, and that is why the accounts were closed. I notified CardCash - and yes, I was outside of the 45 days, but I thought they should know. I received the standard "too bad, you are outside the 45 days" response. I accept that was my risk, but I can't in good conscience do business with a company that sells stolen goods.
Don't use this company! They allow people to sell gift cards and then continue to use the cards. If you don't use the card within the CardCash.com 45 "guarantee window" you are out of luck. I had no idea when I bought the gift card that the original seller would retain the ability to still use the card. Bad Business CardCash.com. Like I promised, I will give you a big negative review everywhere I can so that others can avoid your company. Stay tuned for my Youtube video. Your NOT helping me with the $50 rip-off will cost you much more in lost business. And you deserve it. Shame on you!
STOLEN Gift Card!
I purchased a $50 Build a Bear gift card from CardCash.com in February of 2020. Went to use it on 1/9/2021 and was told it has a $0.00 balance! This was after my daughters had already picked out their bears so what was I to do. I paid AGAIN for the two bears. I digress. I called Build a Bear and was told that the card had been used in California on 12/18/2020. They gave me the store location and time, but would not give me any additional information. I was NOT in California in December of 2020.
I called CardCash.com and did not get much help. They have a 45 day guarantee which I have passed. But what they really need to do is find out if the person that sold them the card is the same person who used it. No matter how you slice it, this is THEFT! I paid for the card and someone else used it. Either the person who sold it to CardCash or someone else or did CardCash.com sell my card again? Without a thorough investigation by CardCash.com I won't know! I was told my situation would be reviewed by their "Claims Department" so let's see if they make this situation right.
Your business is based on repution and trust CardCash.com. If you sell a gift card to someone, it should be theirs to use 100% for as long as they choose to hold it. If some type of theft occurs, you should take 100% responsibility and make the situation right. I hope you make this situation right, or else you will see a honest review video on my youtube channel (Ron's Basement).
Works... I get gift cards from my customers for Christmas tips (garbageman) and the ones I would never use I used to just give away... but now I can turn them into Amazon credit, where I do alot of shopping
Nice and easy self explanatory. And can get a little more if you select to receive amazon gift card!
Pesky gift cards are no longer a problem with Cardcash! Everyone gets those gift cards for pkaces they dont shop at. Now, you can sell them!
I received a few gift cards that I wasn't able to use and googled how to sell gift cards online. Card cash is the way! It was within the 2 business days that I received my money and there was no hassle. I recommend card cash to everyone!
I used this website for my Burlington Coat Factory gift card after finding out that I could no longer use the card. Quick payment. I was able to exchange my gift card for cash!
I put in my info for mt Electronic GC and was told i needed to send in a physical GC. I DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL CARD! Within 24 hours CardCash zeroed my E card and never paid me. The site says pending,, Awaiting card. THERE IS NO PHYSICAL CARD! I am a disabled military veteran on a fixed income. This was supposed to feed my service dog! So now he gets my one meal a day. Left 5 emails in 72 hours, no response. Their 1800 number never picks up and gives 9-5 but no time zone.
Because it's a Whole Foods card, cannot transfer online, so I had to mail it in; however, the process was very quick to receive payment (I selected the payment to be the sale amount on an Amazon Gift Card). The only delay with the process was mailing the Whole Foods card to them.
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email sitejabber@cardcash.com so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
