I ordered a physical card to be given as a gift. The card that arrived is torn and looks like it went through a washing machine. Emails and calls to customer service were useless. The informed me that the card had a balance and that I should be able to use it. Card bar code is not scannable. Certainly unable to give as a gift. Refund was refused.

They scammed me out of $150 bucks they did not want to help me at all! They used my balance right away and never gave me the money for it!

So after my previous review of cardcash, I wrote them another angry email regarding spending $162 on urban outfitters gift card only to have it say no balance on card when I tried to use it. And then they said the gift card was used the same day i bought it- only it wasn't by me. They did several days later give me my money back. I am a bit scared to use the site now, as in I haven't. In the past I have used their site a lot and saved money, and never had any issues. I really have no idea what happened with this gift card; if someone that sold them one to be sold somehow watches it and spends it right after it's sold, or if it's just some wierd occurrence. Not sure if they know what happened either or if they just want to help the consumer and avoid problems. And not sure if I'll use them again. But anyway, they did give me the money back.

So I made two purchases from CardCash. Two separate transactions for e gift cards. The first card worked fine, no problem. The second card, I tried to use it as payment on the website and I kept getting an error code. So I called the gift card number and it would say "the balance is……" and not say the balance. So it ended up that I couldn't use the card at all. I tried to make a claim on the Card Cash website and their only reply was that the card was used on the day I purchased it. So I called Card Cash, the representative tells me they will do more investigating, so I get another email saying the same thing, that the card was used on the day I purchased it. Really? That's the guarantee? I will NEVER use CardCash again. NEVER! And I hope anyone who thinks they might save a few bucks by ordering a second hand gift card on this website, don't do it! You have a 50/50 chance of it actually working and they won't stand by their "guarantee".

I purchased approximately ten gift cards more than two weeks ago. Tracking was posted the next day. Cardcash, however, never actually delivered the package to the SHIPPER (USPS). The tracking continually says (Label Created - Awaiting Package). I was told I had to wait two weeks before they would even consider this a problem. Now, today, two weeks later, I was told that this had to be escalated to a supervisor and the help desk agent could not give me any estimate as to when I would receive a refund. Why post tracking when you haven't even shipped the package? Why make me wait two weeks when there is obviously no update to the tracking? Should I continue?

I used to love this site, but now they just keep flagging my orders as "fraud" immediately after purchase. It doesn't matter what size gift card I buy or which credit card I use to purchase it, they cancel everything. I even tried creating another account, and the orders were canceled on that one too. I contacted customer service and basically just got a we're sorry your order was canceled message. When I pushed them for actual help, they just suggested I try another card, something I already tried multiple times. Then they said they wouldn't give me any more help. In a nutshell don't even bother using their website they cancel legitimate orders and then won't even fix their system's issue.

I bought $150 worth of gift cards with them to a single restaurant. Turned out the gift cards were the "discounted" gift cards one buys from wholesale clubs which means they cannot be used in conjunction with a birthday coupon at the restaurant. This was not disclosed upon purchasing. I thought I was buying a regular gift card. So, I contacted customer service via telephone to ask if I could return/exhcange the gift cards as the information these were the discounted gift cards was not disclosed upon purchase. I was told I could not do a return. I asked if I could exchange them out for regular gift cards for the same merchant. The customer service representative literally did not respond. I asked three times and even had to say, "Hello?" To this I got a, "Yes?" I eventually asked to speak to a manager and was told, "They will tell you the same thing." After politely asking to speak to a manager three times, I was put on hold only for the person to come back and say he would open a "ticket" to look into this and I would get an email.
I have sold with them before without problems, but I would not recommend buying from them! Stay away and just buy the discounted gift cards the next time you are at Sam's.

Had a physical $20 Target gift card I wanted to sell. They offer $17.40, so I agreed and requested the $17.40 be sent to my PayPal account. When they requested my credit card number to SEND my money to my PayPal account, I refused and cancelled the sale. A day later, when I went to Target and tried to use the card, I was told that the balance was zero. I checked the history of the card, and it was used in Washington (I live in California), the same day as I had tried to sell on this criminal site.

I have been waiting 4 days now and haven't heard anything from card cash at all and I have tried to call the customer service department and no answer I have also emailed customer service and again no response from that neither

I had bought a Texas Roadhouse gift card that the company said was valid but they didn't provide a pin number which made the card worthless. They said they couldn't do anything about it.

Bought 4 gift cards from them and 1 gift card was invalid and it was for about $123. Contacted them and after bringing me through the whole ring-a-round bs and saying they were refunding it but then not actually sending it. Contacted them and they wanted me to close my dispute with paypal before sending it, which is obvi a scam because then I cant reopen a claim and theyll get my money. So paypal contacted them and they never got back to paypal, so they refunded me for that invalid gift card. Do not use this site! Too risky!

Just took legal actions against this company because it's been 15 days no money still so my lawyers getting with their lawyers to settle this matter

Ordered & sold several cards from/to cardcash throughout the years. They were always extremely slow to give money when selling gift cards to them. Cardcash finally scammed me then lied to me. Tell me how in the world does 3 separate orders in the same day wind up with the last order having a wrong & very old address of mine of another state that I have not ordered from in over 5+ Years. They didn't "catch" this but when I called to see what happened they had more than enough time to cancel the cards and reissue new cards or credit my card. But instead they had me on the phone for over an hour stating they would not refund me. After a long ordeal the rep finally said "ok. I have reviewed your account, you have been a great customer so I will replace your cards within an hour but I have to get off the phone. I'll call you back within 1-2 hours."

Guess what? No call, no email, no gift cards. $124.00 of my money on that one order out of my account due to their slick scam. Who's to say they didn't cancel the gift cards and just refuse to refund me. No one because the delivery had just happened somewhere I haven't stepped foot in in over 5 years a totally different state far away. Stay away from them.

After purchasing a gift card that has a zero balance I was told I spent it. After reaching the right person I was refunded maybe not a scam after all

I purchased a Black House/ White Market from CardCash for my wife and when she tried to use it, they said none of their gift cards do not start with a "6" and the gift card number was rejected. When I contacted CardCash, I got the run around, and no action. Difficult communicating with customer service and the phone call was even disconnected. While many of the cards I purchased from them have worked, when it doesn't work, you are out of luck. Any money saved by purchasing cards from CardCash was lost by the purchase of a fraudulent card. Not worth the risk or hassle in my opinion.

I purchased American Airline gift cards from card cash and when I went to use them they had zero balances. After many emails and phone calls still no resolution. The total I got scammed was 734.80! Don't chance it. They won't stand by their guarantee. I am having to get an attorney. Scam!

I ordered 2 cards and they send me to a wrong address. I have no idea who types all info but it was returned and when I called I felt I made them a favor to ask for my money back! Never use them again!

They pay you a fraction of the balance and have no problem charging your debit card for verification but can't sell your gift cards unless you have a credit card. Absolutely no other options to verify. Despite saying they can use your PayPal. A waste of my morning. Thanks for nothing
