The gift card I bought from CardCash was originally bought with a stolen CC# and voided. I lost entire value. Customer service told me too bad and ignored follow up emails. This is a dirty company that is just a giant fence operation for criminals. They will get you eventually even if you save once or twice.
My wife and I have purchased thousands of dollar worth of gift cards from Cardcash. Usually they work perfectly. Lately, within the last 2 months, we have had at least 5 cards that came with zero balance. One was a gift for my son at college to a local restaurant. How silly do I look when he orders food, and when it's time to pay, the gift card from his Dad doesn't work. Not a good feeling for anyone. Cardcash is always prompt with refunds, but that doesn't help when we got great discounts only to see them gone because the cards ended up worthless. Cardcash doesn't seem to care when this happens. We get cookie cutter email responses and a refund. Seriously considering whether to continue with Cardcash.
I ordered three times. Twice my Buffalo Wild wing gift cards didn't work. Not worth my time. I called to get my money back. Until card cash can sort out their problems. I won't be ordering even if it saves me 12 percent.
I paid $600 for 16 $50 Hyatt gift cards worth $800. Five, yes, five of them had $0 balances. Unfortunately, they will not refund my money because I put my claim in at 47 days instead of 45 days. Their customer service is awful. They do not investigate the fraud and they could not care less about you. It's amazing that this company has been allowed to operate for over 11 years. There are other reputable companies out there selling discounted cards. This is not one of them. You've been warned.
I frequently use Cardcash to buy movie tickets or restaurant gift cards. I am always impressed with how fast and easy the purchase process is. Other sites require you to wait a few days but this one is super fast. Great service--highly recommend!
Every gift card I purchases had a zero balance instead of the purchase value that should have been on the cards. The only good thing was the "super" customer service rep who got everything refunded to me.
Great deals on buying gift cards & even greater with extra discounts.
I have had only a handful of instances where these gift cards did not work, but Card Cash has always been great about refunding me.
I buy from Cardcash at least once a week, sometimes more. The discounts they offer can't be beat! BUT... about 1 in every 10 transactions, the card is empty and I get angry. It's so frustrating! They do promptly credit me back (within 24-48 hours or so) but it's still annoying. Overall I'm happy with Cardcash.
I've been buying things for years. I've always had a great experience. It's easy to purchase, cards are easy to use, the paper certificates can be a little difficult sometime but that has to do with the cashier not being properly trained how to process them as payment. I've had to deal with customer service on maybe 2 occasions and my issue was resolved promptly. I really have no complaints.
As the foster of a litter of hungry kittens, I've used the pet store cards many times to give me a break on what can be very expensive. Rescues help with vet bills and meds but fosters pay for litter, toys and food. My babies thrived and I felt great that I could volunteer.
Another thing I use are the Starbucks cards. Hey, every little bit helps if you love the products but not the price.
2 of the dozen or so cards I purchased were absolutely worthless - didn't have any value. And I haven't tried using several others so there's no telling yet if there are more like those 2. Unacceptable.
Order always quickly processed and fulfilled. I've made about 10 purchases and they have saved me 10-15% on things I normally purchase. I've had no problems using the gift cards with vendors, even the e-gift cards. An easy way to save money!
Please take the negative reviews into consideration before buying on this site! You may save a few bucks, but will eventually find a dead, zero balance, or fraudulent gift card that they will refuse to refund you on (45 days goes by fast when you don't even get the card for a week) and they flat out say sorry - YOUR LOSS! I bought a variety of restaurant cards for an upcoming trip and found many to be dead after the 45 days. I got proof that one was cancelled three weeks after issuance by the client service department!
Purchased a gift card at a big discount. Somehow the card was not usable despite the balance being shown as having the full amount available. I'm just glad I didn't find this out after 45 days. Raise.com has a 1 year money-back guarantee. I think my relationship with CardCash is over.
CardCash - I buy a $25 gift card. The gift recipient goes to use it and it only has $14.41 on it. So you refund me $9.34 and think it's all good? Not a chance! Better Business Bureau will hear about this as well as every social media access I can find! Oh, I also bought a $50 Dunkin Donuts gift card in August for a Christmas present and was told, Sorry, 45 day buyer protection has expired. Don't get sucked in, friends! Gift card buyers BEWARE!
I've used card cash several times with no issues. My last three purchases were a total disaster. Two of the cards had zero balance when trying to use they both were valued at $250 each and the other one was an invalid card number valued at $200. I have thankfully received a refund for two of them so far in a reasonable timeframe however I missed on great deals from the vendor I purchase the gift cards for as the sales are now over.
Have purchased many gift cards from CardCash and a significant portion are no good as soon as the 45-day guarantee period is finished. Either whoever they are purchasing from are retaining the numbers to steal any balances later, and CardCash does not hold them responsible... or perhaps even CardCash themselves is doing this. Don't risk it unless you will be using the card right away, but why deal with a shady biz when there are so many other options... there are many providers offering a one year guarantee and their discounts are comparable or better.
A card I purchased turned out to be "stolen" and did not work when I went to use it. It was outside of the 90 day window that CardCash offered, so I was S. O. L. A $200 Red Lobster gift card.
CardCash did try to "make up for it" by offering a $20 website credit. Sweet! (sarcasm)
I've tried using the credit twice now, and the order(s) have been cancelled after being placed, because the gift cards are no longer available. I've had to email customer service in both cases, to get a new code for website credit, because the original is not automatically credited back when the order gets cancelled. What a hassle.
This purchase I was able to recover my money. I've lost $$$ of purchases because of waiting past 45 days to use them. I believe there may be a scam taking place where the giftcard balance is removed after 45 days.
Sad and do not recommend.
Got a $300 QT gift card. It was reported stolen and I couldnt use the fund, but when I contacted Cardcash, they just said 45 day is over so there is nothing they can do.
Why sell $300 gift card if the card can basically expires randomly after 45 days? They are basically helping scammers rip their customers off.
Either offer better protection like 100 day protection from other site or dont sell gift cards that cant reasonably be used in a month. They told me I should have known the risk. Yes, it is definitely my fault for having bought from their site. A
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email sitejabber@cardcash.com so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
