I did their online form and they told me I had to send the card in. I did so, and now they're sending it back. They're saying they don't accept cards from this restaurant that are for more than $100.
1.) The card is not more than $100. It's $100.
2.) They knew what the card was before I sent it. They should've never asked me to send it if they weren't going to accept it.
3.) Who knows if the money is still on the card or not. I guess I'll find out if I actually get it back.
At best, CardCash is likely a waste of your time. At worst they're going to scam you out of your gift card.
This is just a waste of time/scam...I have now had several card balances stolen after a purchase and now I have a $100 Chili's gift card that is outside of the 45 days that has just been wiped clean on 4/28/23! I would not recommend their service as this is becoming a hassle and not all cards should be used in 45 days!
BITCARDS is a bitcoin (BTC) gift card that was purchased at CardCash. The website to redeem the BTC issued a 503 server error rendering the BITCARD useless. When the website finally came back up you're required to give up your life (social security number, driver's license, home address, phone number, selfie) to register at the site to redeem the BTC. Only to have to wait for verification of your identity to clear before you can redeem the BTC from the BITCARDS. Support at both websites, CardCash and BITCARDS failed to resolve the issue, an unredeemable giftcard, due to their system issues. BITCARDS actually has a bad reputation online that I wasn't aware of until I experienced my own issues with them. Nevertheless, avoid using both CardCash and BITCARDS. CardCash refused to issue a refund citing Merchant issue.
Cardcash has a history of selling gift cards that have either been already used by the person selling them the gift card, or more than likely selling the same gift card 2x. My suggestion DO NOT USE
These scumbags stole $50 off my $50 gift card fully deplwting it and charged me 3 $1 authorization fees before canceling my order for reasons stating the card had zero balance. BS...I just got it from my Dad for my birthday! I'm filing with the BBB also. Absolute trash.
This site will call avalid gift card invalid after taking all the information after the "review". It's the most $#*!ed thing. Feels like a scam. Go to Raise to sell. I've sold thousands of dollars on that site with no problem at all.
Minus 100 stars. DO NOT SELL GIFT CARDS TO THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE NOT HONEST AND THEY WILL NEVER PSY YOU YOUR MONEY BUT THEY WILL SPEND YOUR GIFT CSRD KEAVING YOU WITH NOTHING.
You may not get your money for gift cards sent in by mail. My gift card was "not received" but somehow balance was used a month after it was put in the mail. I had a small amount on the card so not a big loss but recommend others to proceed with caution since you have little recourse.
Pic for attention.
I sent them a card and was charged two $1 'authentication' fees, then spent money on Priority Shipping to New Jersey. I the meantime I was incessantly spammed by their automated servers originating from their servers only to have my card rejected as 'potentially fraudulent' without explanation despite my exhaustive documentation.
Do yourself a favor and avoid these guys. Seriously.
PS They like to bury their contact number in greyed out text and only visible if you're buying or selling, so here it it: *******214
Back in October of 2022, I sold a couple of gift cards with Card Cash each worth $75. I would get back around $100+ dollars in return, which is totally fair. They claim that they have sent the money over to my bank account, but nothing has ever appeared. Even after contacting my bank a few times to try and look for the money, they have yet to find anything.
I've been in contact with this one customer service agent who tells me the same thing over and over again: "there's nothing else that we can do on our end." Imagine if you were told that by someone, and ended up scammed. And to this day, I still have not got my money.
I absolutely hate it when companies like this don't give good customer service and don't put any effort into trying to remedy the situation. I'm not sure what scam they're trying to pull here, but it's definitely something that I would want to avoid in the future and avoid CardCash. I should've looked at their reviews on their BBB page before working with them. Stay away from this company and do not sell your gift cards!
Had a starbucks card...they charged my paypal $1.00, but never paid the balance they owed (19.25) Wont answer email, finally did, no answer for a week...then they said " card is invalid". What? DO NOT USE THIS PLACE...
I wrote and called for weeks, literally no help, promised email replies and transaction IDs but no one would call, email, or produce my payment. Ridiculous site, DO NOT USE THEM.
I bought 4 AMC E-GIFT CARDs for $50.total $200. When I checked the balance immediately after purchase, they were all balanced.A few months later, when I tried to use the card, it turned out to be a non-existent number, so I couldn't use it.So, when I asked for confirmation, Card Cash Policy said that they were not responsible after 45 days.So I asked. How could the remaining balance be lost after 45 days?
Cardcash answered"CardCash verifies the balance of the gift card at the time of the listing. Only a very small percentage of our cards have issues where the seller used the gift card or the merchant canceled the card after CardCash confirmed the balance.
These percentages are kept very low due to our proprietary fraud technology and KYC measures CardCash has working behind the scenes."
Even after knowing that there are sellers who cancel or cancel cards after selling them, they just say that they are not responsible after 45 days without warning. So I bought a physical card the next day, but this time the physical card was not sent and cardcash sent an e-gift card again.I asked for cancellation three times, but they still haven't canceled or responded.
I tried to sell them a gift card. You have to give them a credit card number which makes no sense. They said it could take 3 days to review. It took longer and was cancelled with no explanation. I don't feel comfortable giving them my credit card number and my gift card numbers. Who knows if the gift card still has any value to it. Don't use this company.
Sold a Nike gift card. Was told for 3 days straight that the money would be in my PayPal account, still hasn't. Was also told they are having issues with their PayPal account issuing payments, so I asked to cancel mine but they won't because it's "processing". If you can't use your PayPal then they should be able to cancel it. Have asked to speak with a supervisor multiple times but they are never there. If I could give 0 stars I would.
They are a solid company they gave me 280$ for 340$ card so it's a good company not fake it's straight legit
They reject every gift card you submit for no reason. They have very useless and vague customer service. Just don't.
Made a deal to sell cards to card cash. Mailed the cards to them with my printed out information. I've been waiting for months for payment to be deposited. They said that they never received the cards. I have no way of proving that they've received them. I'm at a complete loss.
Wow what a fool I was to not look into this company first. I sold over $1,000 in gift cards and should have gone with my gut. Thank you to everyone who wrote about this terrible company. I raced out and used my cards before they could take my money. Now I will spend my time letting everyone online know what thieves they are! Game on!
I checked about 10 gift cards and completed the online transaction. CardCash required a credit card on file as a "$1 place holder" even though none of the transaction was to take place on a credit card as I requested a mail back check for my gift cards. Then when I printed out the receipt to go with the actual cards in the mail, the return address was a strange address in Tennessee, and not my address. I have never had an address in that state and there is no way it could have accidentally auto populated. Also the amount was 2X what they quoted me. So in essence if I didn't check the printed receipt, 2X the money would have been paid in a check to someone in Tennessee!? I immediately canceled the $1 place holder with my credit card company and locked the card, but the credit card company said that CardCash had already charged and canceled the $1 on their end and there was nothing the credit card company could dispute or report since it was already canceled by them. I reported this company to the New Jersey Ocean County Consumer Affairs as so many red flags! Do NOT do business!
Answer: Thanks for bringing up the CardCash BBB rating, we appreciate the opportunity to explain why we have this rating. A few months ago we got into a dispute with a seller who defrauded us. We decided to take this matter to court rather than simply resolve the complaint that seller filed with the BBB. As this complaint remains open while the case is adjudicated, the BBB has downgraded our rating. Once this matter is resolved we expect our rating to more accurately reflect our commitment to excellent customer service and business practices.
Answer: Negative comments because they deserve them. They have the best deals because they have the most scammers selling them cards. That's why they only have a 45 guarantee. The majority of their cards will be zerod out by the 45 days or right after. Then, you are screwed. They WON'T refund your money after that.
Answer: Yes, my brother had a bad transaction with Cardcash. He put a hold through PayPal and Cardcash had to respond and then quickly resolved the problem. Cardcash is the only gift card company that I have dealt with constantly sells bad cards. I know only use giftcardrescue, cardpool, or monster giftcard. Never had a problem with them.
Answer: We have a 45 day guarantee for such occurrences. Please reach out to our claims department so we can assist you. Thanks!
Answer: Of course! You are covered by our 45 day guarantee. Please email sitejabber@cardcash.com so we can resolve it immediately. Have a wonderful day!
Answer: They don't. Don't do it. They make it seem like this is a better, faster option but they've taken my $150 cards for over a week now and have not responded or provided me the MasterCard info. Please stay away and report to BBB as this is a common practice of theirs.
