Made a payment then they closed my account without my knowledge. Called said there was nothing they could do

Worst bank STAY AWAY, have a joint account, with daughter whose in college, everytime they want to verify something, they insist in speaking with her. What's the point of a JOINT account?

PROFILE ACCOUNTS - RUDE and DISRESPTFUL -- This company picks who they want to help and than gives reasons saying your not eligible for help. Capital One is one of the worst companies in banks, and credit cards how they treat their customers is atrocious - They have the slogan "What's in your wallet" nothing because you have taken everything and expect more - Stay away from these cards and this company in my opinion. They charge high fees, and they have outrageous annual fees. Go with other companies if you are trying to get your credit fixed or establish credit don't use Capital One -- They do profile accounts based on who you are in my experience they say they want to help those who suffered from covid yet they don't take into consideration that people are STILL hurting and getting kicked out of houses, losing jobs, and trying to get jobs this world is a mess right now and companies like this need to be put in check to help those with fees and trying to work with them. I hope that sometime some of these (managers) or (supervisors) can experience what other's do it's not always the best route to be on the other end asking for help and asking for a courtesy.

If they can't resolve your enquiry they'll either pass you to another agent who can't resolve it either or disconnect the call

I've been with CapitalOne for years before the fraud happened and they were NOT able to help with that!
Basically, if you buy a coffee in the coffee shop, give your card to pay for it and cashier does cash back without you knowing, the CapitalOne will NOT protect you from that.
This has happened to me in New Zealand when I've stopped by the coffee shop real quick. Because of the bad reception, I have not received notification about the charge right a way. When came back to hotel-seen that charge. I had to call them FOUR times to report that out and get my money back to my account and all they have said is: "unfortunately, we will NOT be able to help you with that, because the card hasn't been reported stolen".
Yes! It has not been reported stolen, because it wasn't, it has been ROBBED-which has been reported FOUR TIMES! And now they cannot get stolen money back as well as $10 cash advance FEES!

Folks, do NOT deal with CApitalOne! If you are traveling, paying with their card- you can be robbed and they WON'T HELP YOU.

Do not get capital one there are so many loopholes that they do not tell you about! I would not recommend!

Zero customer services- fees for days - no loyalty for members. Annual fees no matter what and good luck with their phone!

Withdrew money out of bank account without authorization. I went to bank and got money back. They then froze my account

Beware. Capital One raised my interest rate by 12% when I was late with one payment. I was in the hospital.

They will charge you fees just to have there card then charge your more fees that they feel you deserve avoid this terrible card at all cost

They tell you to use them and pay in full every month. That's what I do and my score goes down every month. I wish I never got them...

No help from anyone sitting behind a desk. Must go to a cashier window to get anything done. No privacy.

Poor service. Disorganized. Arbitrary branch closures. Poor coordination between various services. Call center service unacceptable
