I shop here often and can see that while the store may be understaffed the employee that are working do their best to make up for it! Friendly helpful staff who do their best to clean up after many customers I've witnessed just dropping unwanted items wherever they please. The staff are very eager to please and are helpful whenever I have needed to ask a question. I may have to wait in line a bit longer sometimes but for the price and curtesy it's worth it!
Store organization is now a mess with Long lines at the cash register. Worse of all, their cloths, shoes, belts etc... are low quality and do not last longer anymore. I don't think i will be shopping there anymore! Burlington Post Pandemic has become trash!
So my kids and niece was finding clothes so this employee Neteisha (with the glasses) decided to announce over the speaker keep your kids with you. So you mean to tell me my kids can't go look for them a couple outfits want be going back there again.I can see if they was yelling screaming not the case.

Whatever you do, DON'T do a layaway here! TOTAL RIPOFF! They REFUSED to refund my purchase when the coat I purchased for my 87 year old handicapped aunt for her birthday didn't fit her. Due to her handicap, she couldn't shop with me, so I had to guess on the size. The layaway was only 2 days completed and 14 days in layaway, WELL UNDER the 30 days of their normal return policy. I would have just bought it and returned within the 30 days if the sales clerk would have informed me when I EXPLICITLY asked for ALL of the policies BEFORE agreeing to go ahead and do the layaway. AND, on top of that, paid an extra $5 for this supposed "privilege." This is a completely underhanded method of stealing customer's money! In 2+ years relocated here in Boardman, Ohio, I have easily spent THOUSANDS of dollars in this store to outfit my new home. At this point, I will NEVER return to this store for anything EVER AGAIN! I was an excellent customer who had spent loads of money with them, and in return for my patronage, they are too CHEAP to return a measly 70 bucks for a gift that didn't fit a handicapped person who cannot shop for herself. Pathetic, gross, and disgusting customer service. Avoid them at all costs and just go to TJ Maxx/Home Goods...

I do love shopping at Burlington, so a bad experience won't make me go elsewhere, but I feel it's absolutely necessary to leave a review. The cashier I just had was so miserable. There was no hello or goodbye, nothing. She did whisper me my total. It's not the customers job to be welcoming. I'm not sure how people get hired with such nasty personalities, apparently that's a requirement these days.

Witness some I guess manager speaking to a young man working as if he was her child, the embarrassing things she said and did but not once offered to help him im pretty sure he's a minor and I would be irate if it was my child, whoever terry or Terri is on 132 nd and center needs to be retrained or terminated

I am a regular costumer of Burlington on 6537 NE Loop 820 in Fort Worth but the problem is that there are ALWAYS only 2 cashiers open and the line is very long, the waiting time is almost 30 minutes.
Wore pair of sneakers once -second time shoelace eyelet broke. Both store manager and corporate customer service department told me tough luck, in a dismissive and patronizing manner

Terrible customer service and their fitting rooms are closed- no explanation or option to try on clothes! Won't be back-
Don't work here I've been here forever I bust my butt and get nothing for it they promote the laziness and they promote 17-year-olds that's only been here for a month it's ridiculous management they talk about you to other employees that they're not supposed to they talk about each other's life when they're not there and when you do do hard work they never praise you they never give you nothing they never give you hours and the people who are lazy and don't do nothing against the hours like something is wrong here they need to be retrained horrible mi
The line to pay in different locations of Burlington in Puerto Rico are over 40 minutes of time. All Burlington are under staff. Today my husband went to buy. After 20 minutes decided to return home. We came back 3 hours later and we are over 40 minutes to pay our purchase and we are still waiting in Burlington ar The Outlet Mall. This unacceptable. Please correct this issue. The same happened in Carolina, Caguas and Cayey.

I went to a Burlington last week in Pembroke Pines FL. I had shopped at a Burlington Coat Factory in the past (probably 5 years ago) and got some nice jeans and a jacket. There were absolutely no coats or jackets in the store last week. It looked like a Ross Department store. A bunch of cheap stuff with a huge long line for the cash register (apparently someone is buying their clothes). I left.
Tip for consumers:
I did not order online.

I went to a physical store but left without buying anything. The line for the cash register would have taken at least 30 minutes.
I walked in the store and i saw 2 rats arguing over a peace of salami. But all i gotta say is rat number 2 won that fight she ended curb slamming him an knocked his $#*! out so im pretty sure he won.
I can't buy anything off it that's stupid I give your website a 1 it's useless im thinking about closing my account and shopping somewhere else if you can't do better than th I s c lose your stores.
I will never make business with this credit card company. You never see any difference on the balance even if you make more than the minimum payment required. I requested to close my account since they are not willing to help the customer. I will not recommend this store and credit card to anyone….
Icannot believe a retail store that sells clothing does not have open dressing rooms. When I inquired I was told corporate decided to close them and I could l could purchase the items and if they didn't fit I could return them. I bet they are not willing to reimburse me for the gas if I have to return something. Idiot company.

I wanted to purchase 3 pair of women's slacks, but no dressing room was open. I was told corporate closed all dressing rooms, but I could purchase items and return what didn't fit. With gas prices what they are, NONONONO
Burlington used to be awesome for coats.
Now they have a small anemic selection
Of low quality coats. I gave them another chance this year. Same shabby selection of coats.
The general clothing Is aimed at high school age customers with bad taste.
People you get what you pay for and sometimes its good stuff anyway. Overall its not bad. Never had problems with them. Sale items sometimes seem like returned stuff. But hey didnt pay much anyway. So buy with caution.
I applied and was approved for this card $500 limit and was using it and paying it. Then one day while completing my final $17 payment I noticed it said no available credit. I called them and was told that they closed my account with no explanation. Received a letter which only confirmed the my card account was closed by the bank and could not be reopened but, I can reapply! No thanks I'll pass, it's not that serious! Just was a little disappointed smh
Bought a pair of UNISA sandals at the Ventura Burlington Coat Factory outlet store. Within 6 months, they totally disintegrated...apparently made of plastc. Over the 6 months they d stretched, causing me to trip several times, and the last time, the thong mechanism between my toes totally pulled away from the sandal. I spreadeagled on the sidewalk almost hitting my head against a brick building. When I attaempted to return them for either the $18.30 or another pair of equal vale, the manager Justine said, Sorry, 45 days max and w/t a receipt I can t help. I showed her the deduction from my checking account dated 6/19/2022 and asked her to run the debit card thru the system, but apparently they purge after a few months. When I explained I d shopped at Burlington in the 90s and still wear the London Fog, Perry Ellis, Calvin Klein, Anne Klein coats and jackets that I paid 1000s for and would no longer do so, she tartly responded, We ll survive...the store makes more than 1000s a year.
She had a great opportunity to keep a return customer and blew it. I reported her and the incident to Stephanie at corporate customer complaints, but unlike with Marshall s, with whom a similar incident occurred, I am not sure I ll get anywhere. Marshall s manager profusely apoligized and offered a gift card. I have since returned to Marshall s. I won t return to BCF. Not in Ventura. The store loojs unkempt like a thrift market, not a place for savvy shoppers. I think the buyers need to review their UNISA products. I don t want to break my neck because of them.
This is now geared to a different clientele. I like quality, and am willing to pay more than $18.30 to get it. So...nice knowing you, but no dice.

Burlington has become the worst store to shop at since the PLANDEMIC. I remember how nice it use to be very clean, and organized, and lots of cashiers where the lines were quickly gone. NOW is like is CHRISTMAS YEAR ROUND with lines to pay like a block long. The stores look always trash and dirty. The bathrooms are simply nasty lack of hygiene. The worst part is that it's like that in every store you go too in the state of NEW JERSEY. I don't know about another state but in NEW JERSEY Burlington is pathetic. Now as a consumer I'm very tired of shopping at a store that has no regard of how their store look nor having enough cashiers. All the millions they make and they don't want to pay to have enough employees. As a consumer I refuse to shop any longer at Burlington, and give them my money. I will BOYCOTT Burlington until they get back to the store they use to be. WE THE PEOPLE deserve to shop in a clean organized store, and with enough cashiers so that WE can shop in and out, without waiting for ever in-line to pay. I'm tired of feeling I'm at some ghetto flea market shopping rather than an actual store. For that reason they get one star, so I can get my point across. God bless you all
I purchased item worth $267 at Burlington in Elizabeth NJ (651 Kapowski Road) on 7/15/22 and paid to a cashier named on the receipt as Reginald. Transaction No ******* Reg 019 Store No ******* at 3.06pm.
Upon getting home in New York, I discovered that a wristwatch which was among 21 items was intentionality kept behind and was not put in the bag.
At about 8.45pm samee day when I realised this, I called the store and spoke to one Ronald or Donald who casually said "come back and get". This statement surprised me and I request a supervisor. Rochelle came on line and said the same thing. I told her that i am all the way in NY and I will have to pay toll plus gas that are expensive. All she could say was "come back for it". There is no empathy or asking my receipt detail to at least know who attended to me. This really upset me. I usually shop in Yonkers and they are all nice but Elizabeth's location in worst in customer service. PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BAG BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE CASHIER AT BURLINGTON ELIZABETH. THEY MAY KEEP MERCHANDISE YOU ALREADY PAID FOR. BEWARE. They were not sorry for me at all. It appears this is not new to them.
This is the sorriest place to purchase anything. The customer service stinks. 2 cashiers and 100 people. Takes over 1 hour to buy what you want and the mangers just leave and don't help the cashiers.
WHY on earth would a department store remove the option for people to shop online? Especially during Christmas season and a pandemic? Encouraging customers to physically go to their local stores and shop. Again, during Christmas season and a pandemic! The logic in this must be invisible. I used to love this store but, sadly, I am not sure if ill ever spend my money there again. I am shocked and disappointed!
My happy place is now a scary place. A couple robbed the store while I was there. Employees said they are in there regularly doing that and it is how that couple makes their living and people need to just leave them alone and let them do it. Inventory is scattered. I think employees are in on the take. Corporate doesnt seem to care.
