The company's reputation is significantly marred by a plethora of negative feedback, with customers consistently expressing frustration over poor customer service, unresponsive communication, and perceived predatory lending practices. Common complaints include difficulties in modifying payment dates, aggressive collection tactics, and excessive fees that exacerbate financial burdens. While a few customers report satisfactory experiences when loans are kept current, the overwhelming sentiment reflects a lack of support and empathy from the company. This pervasive dissatisfaction suggests a need for substantial improvements in customer relations and service transparency to enhance overall customer experience and trust.

So got behind on my payments during coronavirus sent to repo within a week put as much as I could on thepast due payments beginning of the year pay all past due and a couple months prior after those months income wasn't enough to make full payments again I put as much as I could on the late payments so I just so happen to look at my account with them and realized 1that my car was only 14,000 I have given them over 11,000 dollars and payments look as if I have paid nothing now this is very frustrating because I should be down to about 8,000 now if all payments where paid car note 201.66 every two weeks long story short they sent my car in for repossession allowed a tow company to break down my fence where the car is locked behind to drag my car down the hell and attempt to repo it until my neighbors started to come out and see what was going and then someone mentioned a lawyer and they drop the car not sure the tow company name though
Last week I made my last payment of $56.83. This week I owe $268.00. WTF. I call customer service, and the rude $#*! lady, kept telling me no you have a balance. I said no my balance said 0.00. She laugh at me sad hung up.
I was laid off from my job tried to set up a payment plan never got a call back, never got a email, phone call or letter in the mail that I was late, past due or the car would be repossed until it was gone at 3am, also Sara/Sarah from reposition admitted to using illegal tracking devices in their cars without the customers knowledge which is illegal so don't use bridgecrest/carvana or drive time. If I could leave negative stars I would.
I was debited twice for my monthly payment. Now I have to wait three weeks to receive my money. Their customer service is very slow and disrespectful
Let me preface by stating the obvious once and only when one comes into the knowledge. Very important. When one studies and clearly understands; HJR 192 Public Law 73-10 briefly this states that the government must (must) says have "to no" choice. Guess what they are using your credit and stealing your income because we won't accessed. American people. Need to wake up stop depending on something outside of yourself to fix the
problem expecting beaucrats to help are country because they won't.
Any positive review on here for these scammers is probably just one of their employees. They drew up a contract with a pay frequency of biweekly even though I told the DriveTime dealer I wanted monthly. I confirmed monthly payments with them on multiple occasions. They pulled the old switcheroo, destroyed my credit and repossessed my car that i needed for work.
If I could give no stars I would! My motor blew on the vehicle. Received several phone calls but none offering help for my issue. Multiple customer service agents argued with me none expressed condolences about not even being able to travel to work to make a payment. Disgusting company shouldn't be in business!
I see there's a ton of bad reviews, so I figured I'd leave a good one since I've experienced 0 issues with them. Took a 64mth loan out and now only have 24 months left. They make it super easy to make payments. You can choose auto draft or just use your bank account to make them. They charge a credit card fee if you want to use it that way. I've always made more than the monthly payment, so it takes more from the principle. You can also make principle only payments too. They were easy to work with when I got into a minor fender bender. The insurance company sent them the check for repair and they reissued it to my mechanic and got my car fixed within 2 weeks. If you can pay your bills on time, this is a great company. Never had an issue.
Honestly they don't even deserve any stars, these people are straight up crooks and so is Drivetime. We purchased a vehicle through Drivetime and only given the option to go through of Bridgecrest. Big mistake, a after paying on the car for a years, we found ourself in a upside down loan. We were told that we couldn't make extra payments throws the principle, it would just a extra payment (which only with to the interest. After we fall on hard times we told them to get the car, the never told us when they was gone come and get the car. They took all of our personal belongings and gave us the run around about get the items back. Needless to say by the time they were done, sending up through circles. The recovery company said that all of our personal belongings had been trashed.
Easy to apply on Carvana wedsite, so I used them. Everything was ok until I decieded to pay off my loan.
Somehow I paid my payoff twice- my fault. After finding this out I called Bridgecrest and got someone in India who I could not understand. After finally telling her what i needed she transfered me to another department, still no help. This guy transfered me to the resolution center. Hey, some I could understand, her name was Brandy, she listened to what I had to say and said she would look into it and told me to call back in 2 weeks. I called back in 2 weeks, no Brandy- some guy. Same bull $#*!. This crap continued for over a month. As of today a 6 phone calls I still have not got my money back. Awful service!
I purchased a car from Drive Time for $11,000 exactly one year before the covid shut down hit. I should never been sold this car. I had no credit, $1,000 cash down, and they gave me a 24.6% apr. I was young and didn't know better, which they knew. A year later my entire industry was closed due to the pandemic (i'm a bartender) i was laid off for 10 months total, 5 of those months i had no income. They didn't offer me any forgiveness, forbearance, anything. All they asked is "are you planning on filing taxes?" and "did you get your stimulus check?" To this day, i've paid $14,700 on a total financed loan amount of $16,500 ($11k lot value plus interest) and my outstanding balance is currently $19,025. They purposefully look for low income and young people by saying " guaranteed credit approval" but then hide a mountain of loop holes and catch 22's in your contract. They'll harass you (literally 4-6 calls a day) and give you the worst customer service imaginable. They don't want you to pay your car off, and they'll make sure you can't. All i was trying to do was get reliable transportation so i could get to work. 3 years later i'm bankrupt and can't finish my college degree. Thanks, drive time and bridge crest!
If you have a choice DO NOT FINANCE WITH BRIDGECREST. You will be paying for your vehicle twice through them. My loan was only 19k, somehow they're wanting 38k total after finance charges. My credit is above 700. Please do not get scammed like I did.
I PAID ON TIME., NOT ONE DAY LATE, I CALL BRIDE CREST, ONLY ONCE TO SAT UP A PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT... THEY TOOK NOTE EARLY, CAUSING MY ACCOUNT OVERDRAFT FEES, AND OVERDREW MY ACCOUNT, PLEASE DON'T LET THIS COMPANY DEBIT YOUR ACCOUNT... AND SAID O" WELL OUR MISTAKE... MY ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC... BE AWARE THESE PEOPLE (BRIDE CREST) IS HUNGRY AND DESPERATE!
Absolute nightmare. DO NOT FINANCE WITH BRIDGECREST! Long story short: Ordered a car from Carvana, was unsatisfied and traded it for another vehicle using there 7 day return policy. Both vehicles financed with Bridgecrest. The auto pay ($495) for the first vehicle was taken out of my bank account for two consecutive months, and it should not have even came out once. When Bridgecrest was notified I was ASSURED the account was closed and the two payments made toward the first car would be applied to the second car I purchased. COMPLETE LIE. The past 2-3 weeks have been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. I call every other day to see if my issue is close to being resolved and they just keep telling me it's been forwarded to another department. Then, today when I called I was threatened with a repossession notice for the vehicle I currently have even though I have paid almost $1,000 to Bridgecrest in the past 6-8 weeks. Those two payments HAVE NOT been applied toward my current vehicle and it looks like I am behind on my first payment. ON TOP of being 9 months pregnant, my blood pressure is absolutely through the roof and I am at a loss of what to do. DO NOT FINANCE WITH THIS COMPANY.
I have been trying to register my car in the state of florida since october of last year. Everytime i would call to get a copy of my title sent to the dmv. They would tell me they sent it then come to find out it was never processed I have even spoken to their "Management department" they are jokes as well. I submitted a move request which they informed me that the dmv would receive the title with in 7-10 business days. I call them to check the status only to find out the it wont get to the dmv until july 9th 2022. Two months later.
Worst companies ever. If you can save enough money just to make a large down payment at a well known dealership. These companies need to be shut down.
Got my niece a car with carvana and bridgecrest since the interest was low enough now that we are trying to pay off the loan they accepted a check for the principal balance over a month ago but I still owe this month full payment and still have a principal balance it's pretty scary how sketchy they are and wish I did my research before signing up for this
You can not change your car payment due payment, but only 1 time a year they don't care with the customer is going through, this is terrible. If you are making your payments on time ( like me) and have to change the date, they should help make the customer happy by doing so! I will never do business again with them, PERIOD!
6 months ago I moved from Florida to Georgia, and still don't have a Tag! Bridgecrest suppose to fax over tittle transfer, but HASN'T! EVERY TIME I CALL I GET DIFFERENT Responses! Last time I check it takes up to 8 weeks but it's been MONTHS! BUT THIS DOESN'T KEEP THEM FROM CALLING MY PHONE CONSTANTLY FOR PAYMENTS! I LITERALLY HAVE TO TRADE IN MY CAR JUST SO I CAN HAVE A CAR REGISTRATION AND A TAG! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Unprofessional supervisor Christina. Need to learn to speak to get customers. This company is hiring people to speak badly to their customers. Also a rip-off.
I paid off my loan through my Credit Union. Bridgecrest acknowledged the payment and assured me I would have my title sent within 10 days. A month later I got a call saying that I was overdue on my payment. I told them that the loan was paid off a month earlier. They said that the check bounced. I called the Credit Union and they said that the check was cashed a month back. Bridgecrest called me every morning for 3 weeks harassing me for a payment and gave me a different story every time they called including saying they never received a payment. It's been over 2 months now and my bank's legal department is involved. They said that Bridgecrest finally admitted to having the money the whole time. I still haven't been refunded the late fees, been apologized to, or received the title yet. They even messed up my credit after reporting "overdue payment ".
Answer: I was a partial payment late and they will take your car. If you get bridgecrest have a garage
Answer: Cars depreciate very quickly. One of the dumbest financial decisions a person can make is spending a shit ton of their income on a vehicle. Expensive cars aren't worth it. Nobody needs leather seats or separate climate controls. And it's not like you're buying one vehicle for the rest of your life. Quit looking at cars as status symbols and save your 8K for something else.
Answer: 90 Days...
Answer: Call them to come get it...,...
Answer: Not a question... perhaps you could attempt making a free payment online on the website?
Answer: I'm sueing them and that's that. And they should be closed down
Answer: Try your local credit union. They love to undercut the interest rates, and can generally be a little more lenient because they get their money through payroll deductions, meaning they get paid first.
