I recently purchased a Christmas nativity tree from Bradford exchange. It was very expensive but it looked beautiful so I bought it. My problem is that what I thought I was buying and what I actually got was very different. I feel stupid for buying from them and wish I'd seen this site first, if I had I would never have bought it, way overpriced. Surely there should be laws that require that the image actually is of the item being sold, the image has to altered. If I saw a picture of what I got I would never have bought it. This company should be shut down.
They will send you used and broken items. Do not be deceived by how beautiful items look on their web. I have been a victim. If they refund then I will take this review back.

In total I have purchased 5 baby dolls. The first 2 looked nothing like the rendering posted, the 3rd I would have kept but her armatures were broken and the 4th looked nothing like the rendering again. I am new to doll collecting and didn't know you had to research the doll on YouTube to actually find out what the doll really looks like. Usually nothing like what is on their website. It is illegal in Canada to mislead consumers in this way it's called bait and switch. They are basically showing you a product you will not receive. They only show renderings of their products none of them are the actual products. Recently my mom wanted the 5th doll a $300 doll. She is the cutest thing and my mom wanted to keep her. Today my mom noticed that the doll has a rip on the inside of the arm she will be going back sadly. Coincidentally I was warned that BE's silicone rips easily. AND waiting for returns is rather painful. They take almost a month which is unheard of in 2022. My mom returned the bassinet that was ordered as it was horrible quality and not worth the price and I am still waiting on the refund. When you email customer service they never actually answer your inquiry they reply with a scripted email. I have lost over $100 is postage fees that are non-refundable maybe that's how they stay in business.
I placed an order for a product, which was faulty. The next two products sent as replacements were also faulty. They were all returned. The final refund took over three weeks to be processed, and only because I continued to call and follow it up. Instead of refunding the credit card, a cheque was sent, despite being guaranteed this would not happen, and where their website says the credit card will be refunded. In all, I spent almost three months dealing with the company. It takes on average 20 - 30 minutes on hold to reach customer service over the phone, and emails are not responded to. The customer representatives are unhelpful, and at times, very rude.
YOU GUYS SUCK! Purchased 2 full sets of Morgan silver dollars with display cases and uncirculated peace dollars full set and you sent me 1 coin that was so bad you yourself graded and called it very good. Its not even able to grade in my opinion. I hope you guys get whats coming to you, by ripping people off like this. Nobody should be subjected to this during a recession nor should you get away with ripping people off. You guys should be in jail

Do not have anything to do with these theives. Despicable disgusting business practices. I have been in touch with trading standards, who advised me to write to them and give them 14 days to arrange for them to collect the coins.If they don, t I can keep them. They should be banned from trading.
I ordered a gift for my brother. 1 Knife. Bradford continued to send the whole set. I thought, okay it will be a nice gift, but now Bradford attempts to send things I did Not Order to my home and attempts to charge me. These are for things I DID NOT WANT or ORDER.
Ordered a music box in May. Paid with Chase credit card. I paid my credit card and they paid Bradford. I have sent numerous proof of payment including my credit card statements showing payments and the bank printout showing their payment. I continue to get bills and threats of collections. Last letter I sent registered mail with all payment paperwork. The music box was not high quality as well for 89.00.
The price of this was $135 for everything and I have been charged $131 the first time. Then $53.95 the second time and $14.95 the third time. I called to find out what was going on and they said there are 7 different charges for this. I do not recommend getting this
First they misrepresented the item purchased and refused to send what was purchased. Saying hidden terms. They are a over priced rip off. Warning do not buy from them!
Where to start, i ordered the free coin. I knew it would be part of a collection and was very very clear in the phone call that i did NOT want the collection just the free coin. I received the free coin and then another arrived. I called customer services and told them that i didnt want it and didnt ask for it. I was told i had to return it to which i said no. You sent it as a pushy sales tactic, you can come and collect it. Then they sent me another one. I called them and was told someone would call me back. They didnt.
Then i received a letter saying they have added a late payment fee. Again i called, got nowhere and emailed them to say the coins are here waiting for them. Now i receive a threatening letter demanding payment or debt collectors with even more fees.
Pushy sales, no calls returned, not very customer focused and unhelpful.

They have taken 2 lots of £44 today and I have never asked or received anything from them, I'm ringing the bank now hopefully get my money back
They will continue to charge your card without authorization even if you call to cancel any future charges. I purchased one gift for my mother for christmas and have now been charged 3 times in about 9 months. I have called multiple times to have this taken care of but it never does. I had to put a block on my card through my bank for this company so i won't be charged any more.
Do not purchase from them or you will continue to be charged.
Spent over $200 for The Nightmare Before Christmas Train (5 piece set). After only 2 Halloween seasons, they are going in the trash. The water in all of the globes is MURKY and the connector pieces all snapped off. I purchased these to display each Halloween. Expensive mistake! Do not recommend this company!
I canceled my order because i was worried they where just trying to rip me off and 1 day after threatening to file a fraud complaint against them if they tried to bill me, they billed me and shipped out the item i ordered.
I cancelled my bank card that day and got a new one so they could not further bill me and filed to get my money back through my bank. Received the item today and honestly the ring looks pretty good but i have to determine if the center stone is what they say it is. If so ill cancel the any action in progress to get my money back and just never use the bradford exchange again. No one should have to go through that much headache to buy something online these days
Went looking for a ring as a gift for my girlfriend and found what i though to be the perfect ring, a glacier waters montana sapphire ring with 25 inlaid white topaz. The images of the ring where perfect the price was perfect and was fitting for the size of the stone if it truly was a Montana sapphire. So i bit the bullet and made the purchase on 02 AUG 2022, saw the charge pending on my account and was satisfied that id have the ring in 5 to 9 business days. Then the problems started. Fortunately i took a screen shot of the email receipt they sent me because it was later replaced with another email stating there was a problem with my account and gave me contact info also stated they sent me a statement in the mail with the same info. I called them and they told me the transaction wasnt authorized through my bank so they couldnt ship me my item. I contacted my bank and they said if the transaction wasnt approved then i wouldnt have a pending transation on my account, so i reached back out to the bradford exchange and they changed their story "oh yes the transaction is approved thank you for updating us with that but your billing address is wrong so we cant finalize the transaction" me thinking how could i have a pending transaction on my account on my account if they have the wrong billing address? I go ahead and update them and they tell me everything looks good i should receive an email for shipment by the next day. I wait and wait 6 days rolls around and the charge falls off my account so i reach back out to them and they tell me theres still an issue with my billing and shipping addresses so i update it and wait, i really want this ring but i start to have my doubts. 8 days after making the purchase and seeing no history on mt bradford exchange account i call back and a lady pulls it up and says everything checks out on my account but they just didnt have the item in stock at the moment, meanwhile the item was very clearly in stock on the website and the first 3 times i called customer service so i ask when it should be available she says about 2 to 4 weeks. You would think the first 3 times i called about this they would have had this information since it seemed to be so easy for this customer service agent to find. A few days later i receive a check at my shipping address from the bradford exchange with the amount of $15.50 i thought that extremely odd so i held onto it for a few more days before using it as another excuse to find out more info on my order. I make my 5th customer service call and ask about the check as to which the agent doesnt really know what its for so i leave it alone and ask him about my order, once again the billing info is wrong on my account they only have my shipping address registered and thus cannot ship my item. I make the correction again and ask him if he can confirm the item is in stock and able to be shipped he tells me yes and puts me on hold for about 5 minutes, comes back and says yes the item is ready for shipment it will be shipped the next day friday the 12th of august and should take about 5 to 9 business days for me the receive it at my correct shipping address i ask if there will be any proof of shipment i should keep an eye out for and he says yes ill receive an email with shipping info attached, i thank him and hang up. The 12th comes and goes i receive an email asking me to review the item i never received i hold off i figure ive waited this long already i might as well go for the 2 week mark before i raise hell with them about walking me in circles over a $200 silver ring, at this point its been so long that i cant really remeber when i ordered the ring and refer to the email screen shot and mistake the expected early receive date as the date i purcahsed it so i waited a bit longer until today 18th Aug to check the details of the screen shot and see thats its already been 16 days since i ordered the item and theres no payment no info and no movement. At that point i started looking for reviews i figured since they asked me to review an item that was never shipped that maybe other people had similar issues and found that the bradford exchange doesnt appear to post those reviews anywhere, and i found this place and saw the reviews of other people and could see some similarities in how my order was being treated to others experiences. Kinda feels like they put up a false listing got me to validate my card for their data base to start charging me for some sort of service or fee per month. And it seemed that customer service was giving me the run around so that they could get me to that 1 month and nail me for a subscription that i didnt sign up for. Im really hoping that isnt the case, i called them up again today and the same person i had spoken to 3 times prior called me back and we discussed the matter of fraud and dishonest business practices. I told him that there was no reason to delay a shipment for half a month and told him if he could not give me a valid shippment id with tracking and expected time of delivery today that i wanted the order canceled and my account deleted any further charges after that i warned would be reported to the FTC Federal Trade Commission. He stated that he could not give me any such info so he told me the account would be closed and order canceled. If anyone reading this has had similar issues with this company and had fraudulent charges posted on for goods and services they did not request i strongly urge you to contact the Federal Trade Commission, enough calls come in and they will have no choice but to start an investigation and shut down the bradford exchange for unlawful business practices.
Purchased a gift for my wife, all good. Next I see another gift arrived, checked my credit card and they had charged my for second gift. I called them and was told because I had looked online at second item they had charged me and sent item (with no authorization) they would mail me return instructions - 2 to 3 weeks. Then 2-3 weeks for them to receive item and only then another 7-10 business days before they credited me, I asked they email me return instructions, nothing came. Called them again and asked the email me instructions, nothing. Called them and told them I was going back to back and hitting them with fraudulent charges if I never received email. Waited couple hours - nothing, called bank and they have hit them with fraudulent charges.
Once you purchase an item, they will keep sending you items and keep charging you.
Realized this pretty quick, changed my credit card after first unknown charge. They keep sending me items, you can't return them, so just keep 'em. Received another item today. I'll just keep it. They won't get another penny out of me over that initial $10. Keep sending me stuff all you like
Answer: When a company this size, keeps your money and lies countless times, hours spent waiting and talking to employees and supervisors and report you for not paying when they have your money isn't a company I would recommend to anyone.
Answer: Hi Tina. Sorry for your crappy experience with The Bradford Exchange - I know the feeling. I would dispute the payment, but make sure you take pictures and be very descriptive of why the item was not as advertised. The Bradford Exchange is certainly NOT what they once were; their products used to be a much better quality than they are now.
