I purchased a Christmas gift for a family member and had it shipped to them. The package arrived in its original manufacturer container with a certificate of authenticity and description of item attached to the container. The package was then wrapped in clear plastic and shipped. It was obvious to my family member what was inside thus ruining her Christmas surprise. After contacting the Bradford Exchange it was felt the accepted no responsibility for how it was shipped and the advised me if I didn't like it, I could return the Item. Buyers beware when using this company.
I placed an order for a necklace that had the names of my grandchildren on it along with their birthstones on November 23rd 2022. After about a week I checked on the status of my order and saw "No Activity". I contacted customer service and could barely understand the female who answered who now tells me there is a backorder but assures me there is a Christmas delivery promise. I continue to check the status and I still get "No Activity". I e-mail customer service 3 times and each time I am assured that there is a Christmas guarantee delivery. On December 20th I call customer service again and speak to yet another female who I can not understand who now claims it is still on backorder and may now take until January 5th 2023 to arrive despite 5 confirmations from Bradford that it will be delivered before Christmas. Hey Bradford, get some customer service people who speak English.!. I also made sure I was not enrolled in any Rewards program and on multiple occasions I was told that I was not enrolled and would not be charged any fee. Well today I got my Visa bill and sure enough there is a $14.95 Rewards fee charge on it. I immediately cancelled it through my card company, and contact Bradford and spoke to yet another person who did not speak English who tried to tell me I had signed up for it. After explaining to Achmed or whatever his name was that I did NOT enroll, he sent me a cancellation notice. We will see if they try it again next month. Horrible company stay away.
I ordered one coin from their FB Ad, but it turned out to be a subscription. I tried to call their customer service number, but they never answered my call. I tried to call many times, but no luck. Is this a simple scam? They keep sending me the rest of the coins and I do not know when it will stop, but anyway I will pay for what coin I like then if they keep on sending them and I will keep on returning them. Again DO NOT BUY from The Bradford Exchange to stay away from the pain they caused you. Their customer service is really poor and they will never answer your call.
I am in a dispute now. I never signed up to get charged for the nightmare before christmas train. The entire train on facebook as advertised as 39.99. No that is one link of 16. So they charged me the same amount again. Thats lying repeatedly. I got scammed.
I would leave zero stars if I could. I called to cancel an order placed the night before because it was shipping to wrong address. Somehow when paid with paypal it changed the ship to. The rep told me the order was canceled and that I would receive an email. Never received the email stating canceled only that it had been shipped. I called again and they said I never called to cancel only to check the status. Then said I have to call back yet a third time in order to get return label to return item. Refused to give to me at that time. Implied that I lied about calling to cancel the item.
I placed my order on July 25,2022. As of December 13,2022. I still have not received my order. When I finally got an email it shipped, the shipping label was mis printed an my item was returned and my money was already withdrawn. I called to get answers and the foreigner that answered the phone was acting like he couldn't understand a word I was saying and was very rude. He was not emphathic whatsoever. Please do not buy from this company.
I made a purchase from Bradford Exchange. Their ad offered "free shipping" or a refund of shipping charges, implying that shipping costs would be deducted from the order. Turns out, it is a "rebate" of shipping which requires tons of documentation to be emailed to Bradford. Then, the email address that they provide is not a working email address. Also, to even claim the rebate, you must join a reward scheme and agree to pay about $20 per month hereafter. So, claiming the "rebate" is impossible and hopeless and may subject you to many future monthly charges that you don't want. Also the shipping and handling charge is excessive and inflated. Avoid Bradford if you expect to recover the shipping and handling charge. You will not. I will wait to see if there are other problems, as many reviews indicate.
I ordered the Thomas Kincaid Christmas lamps, set of 3, individually shipped. The first one came and it was not worth the $75 ++, cheaper looking. I returned it immediately, but little did I know two things:
(1) They already shipped #2 (even though the return form has a box "do you want to continue with the series", I marked no). When I called, they said "oh, you should have called us to inform us--I said, How about you communicate this better! Scam to get you to purchase/keep it rather than deal with the return.
(2) the LONG return process, thus long time to get a credit. They will not credit you for your return purchase until 30 days after you ship it back, even though Fed Ex Smart Post tracker says they received it. I'm still waiting for my second credit--30 days from 11/12 when I shipped it, even though Fed Ex shows they received it. And get this, it won't happen automatically, I have to call on 12/12 and request it!
This is literally the WORST online shopping experience I've ever encountered and I will NEVER order from them again. Beware!.
Don't waste your time or money with The Bradford Exchange because I just placed an order for address labels and it is going to take fifteen days not including weekends or Holidays so it will take a month to get them since there is only one way to ship them to me. They told me they have been in business for fifty years you would thank that if they have been in business for that long they would have a joice of how fast you want your stuff and charge different shipping costs but I guess that The Bradford Exchange isn't smart enough to figure that out on there own. Just don't waste your time or money with this company that isn't very smart to have different shipping options.
Second time of writing a review for this predatory company. PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING. No option for no stars which this company richly deserves. After I intercepted an attempted unauthorised withdrawal from my bank account, within a week another attempt was made which succeeded in taking £50 from my account. I have had to cancel my debit card with all the inconvenience this causes and instruct my bank to recover this fraudulent withdrawal. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR BANK DETAILS THEY WILL CONTINUE TAKE MONEY FROM YOU. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH
I got tricked into joining their $14.95 per month rewards program. They offered free shipping if I enter my email address. No mention of a monthly fee. I entered my email and received an email stating that I am being charged $14.95 per month to be n their rewards program. I'm canceling the product that I ordered and never returning.
Definitely not a check company I will use again. The customer reps were mean and unwilling to assist in a way that I was told I would get help. I had the email to prove that they were suppose to correct my order. Just awful experience. Never again. They even hung up on me and wouldn't let me get a word in to explain the problem.
Received this tree. Looks nothing like the picture. Absolutely horrible. Trying to get ahold of customer service which is also a joke….
Watch this site and heritage coins as they are a total rip off. I have never known any company in my whole life who charge full postage cost per item instead of all together. So for example coins they charge you £3.99 per item I wanted 8 items in total. With my total price of the coins being about £30 and the postage is even more than cost of the items at over £30! They also have tricked people into paid subscription of coin services for coins that are at ridiculous prices and not worth the value whatsoever!
They keep sending me things I haven't ordered and don't want and they don't answer their phones or emails and I'm damn sure I won't be paying return postage.
I have never wrote a review in my life Bradford exchange. Customer service is terrible. It is the worst bull$#*! I ever been through in my life what the most rudest mother$#*!ers I ever dealt with I'm a owner of a business myself I would love to speak to the owner of this business and Tell him to fire 80% of your staff… I will never spend a dollar here for the rest of my life, and I will make sure every person I ever come across never does business here
When you pay with a credit card for your order, Bradford automatically signs you up for the subscription for that item, and they do not give you an opt-out option. I emailed them to cancel the subscription over two weeks ago, and I have not received a reply. They charged my visa for something I didn't even order. They do not have a 0800 number which means it will be a toll call for people who live outside of Auckland. I hang up after waiting for over 20 minutes listening to their promotional advert on a loop. I have emailed them, called them and sent them a message of their facebook page, still no response! They have the worse customer service I have come across! I will never buy from the again, it's feels almost like a scam. Buyer beware!
Do not use this company. They are dishonest, unethical & will steal all your money if you let them.
Biggest scam artist online.
Paid for a coin set. They decided to not give me the set then put me on a subscription. So paid 100 bucks got nothing then they charged me 30 bucks a month for a 20 dollar coin. Cancelled then the came up with a fake collections issue for the 18 dollars. You can not get a hold of them it's a scam company!
Steer clear of this lot. My issues persist after several months. Had to lodge complaint with credit card provider. Poor and very slow, if any, response to communication.
Answer: When a company this size, keeps your money and lies countless times, hours spent waiting and talking to employees and supervisors and report you for not paying when they have your money isn't a company I would recommend to anyone.
Answer: Hi Tina. Sorry for your crappy experience with The Bradford Exchange - I know the feeling. I would dispute the payment, but make sure you take pictures and be very descriptive of why the item was not as advertised. The Bradford Exchange is certainly NOT what they once were; their products used to be a much better quality than they are now.
