I have orderd many things from Bradford years ago. I recently ordered a dream catcher from a postcard I got in the mail. No where did it say I had to buy the complete series. I started noticing they had been taking money out of my bank account without my authorization.When I call them, they told me it's because I was signed up for the complete series and they had sent me another dream catcher in the series & they automatically charge my credit card. I DID NOT authorize them to send me the whole series or take the money out of my bank account to pay for what THEY DECIDED to send me. These actions by them have caused an overdraft in my bank account. Bradford USE TO BE a pretty good company to order from but they have gone way down hill throughout the years, as we can see in their rating and reviews.
I ordered what I'd call a "mother's ring" for myself. I was anxiously waiting for it and today it arrived!
I used reading glasses along with a magnifying glass to see the engraving and the stones. IT IS AWFUL.
I can't return it because it appears to be what I ordered but OH MY GOD it is so very misrepresented!
It is the "our family together, for always" ring and looks so fantastic online. DO NOT PURCHASE!
I should have read some of the reviews before ordering from this company! I saw an advertisement in the paper for a Princess Diana Sapphire Ring. I called the company because they claimed they could send you a ring sizer if you don't know the size of your finger. I called them to have them send me a ring sizer and never got it. I placed another call a week later and was told that I would get my ring sizer... never got it. Finally I got so frustrated and went to a jeweler to get my ring sized, place the order and was told that I would get a confirmation email... never got that. I can assure you I will NEVER place another order with this company again! They should not be in business!
Ordered ring which B. E. Claimed was shipped Feb 4. Was supposed to be a Valentine's Day gift. Never arrived and no tracking number. After 3 calls to customer service and 3 conflicting reasons why ring hadn't arrived, I was given a reissue date to receive the ring Mar 21-28. Ring arrived on the 28th. I was afraid to open it because of all the negative reviews I was reading. The ring is beautiful. All the names and corresponding birthstones were correct. Very pleased!
If I could give The Bradford Exchange a -0 I would, my husband ordered something for me one time and now he has been getting a recurring charge a month on his debit card for 14.95 for their REWARDS PROGRAM which he did not sign up for, plus their merchandise is low quality for what they charge, he had to call the bank and cancel his current debit card and have them issue a new one. BEWARE, this company is a SCAM!
The product I received was good; however, canceling my subscription to this service was a nightmare. I tried for months and was told each time I spoke to someone that my account was canceled, which was clearly a lie
I received a solicitation around Thanksgiving. A few days later I ordered a Christmas gift of a necklace from them. It was almost a month before Christmas. I started wondering why I hadn't heard from them, so I contacted them, and they said I would not receive the gift in time for Christmas. They said they were backlogged. How embarrassing that I would have Christmas Day and no gift for my wife. The fact they are backlogged is not my problem, as their customer. Hire more people! Very disgusted and will not do business with them again. After raising some heck, I finally received an e-mail that my item shipped on Dec. 18th, and to expect to receive it in 5-9 business days! My wife will be lucky if she gets her Christmas gift my New Years! Company is evasive, full of excuses and have really embarrassed me. Bad, bad, bad... I will never use them again!
They canceled the order for the large jacket and sent me a bill for the XL jacket. My card wasn't charged for the larger. My misunderstanding due to poor communication. Anyway, fingers crossed for order to arrive before March 1st.
I ordered a USMC jacket for my Father's 90th, which will be in March. Got a letter stating there's an additional $41.78 due, in order for the item to be shipped. The letter looks official but this didn't make sense since they already charged my card. I did change the size to XL by email, right after I ordered a large. I thought the larger size cost more. So I called "customer service" to clarify the issue. Well, the agent hung up on me after I persistently asked, "What is the $41.78 for?" His answer was vague but it boiled down to," Your item is ready to ship but B. E. Isn't going to ship it until you pay this "minimum amount due". I asked if there was an online payment interface to take care of it, he said "No". He then said I can give him my CC number over the phone. I thought, "No way!" I then asked, "don't you run people's cards via a computer interface?" He said, "Yes". I responded, "Then why can't a customer do this?" He said, "I dunno." Wow! Now I switch into aggressive mode. That's when he hung up. So, $125 might be gone and judging by the rest of the reviews here, my hunch might be right. Ugh
I ordered a jacket for my Dads christmas present, I ordered a month before christmas and I got an email that it was shipped out on December 3rd and I've called customer service number twice. The first time they said it was on the way and the 2nd time it said my package was lost. They said they can re send it express shipping but I would have to pay for the express shipping. I would not recommend this website to anyone. Very bad service.
They will send you used and broken items. Do not be deceived by how beautiful items look on their web. I have been a victim. If they refund then I will take this review back.
I bought checks. The charge was $14.95. It wasn't until months later that I discovered that Bradford Exchange was charging me that same amount every month. I called and they said that when I purchased the checks I agreed to a monthly charge of $14.95 for some bogus "Bradford Checks Rewards." I informed the agent that I certainly did not knowingly agree to such a thing. She immediately reversed the 6 months worth of charges. Shame on me for not catching the charrge to my Discover card. It appears as "TBE BRADCHECKSREWARD" if you want to search your credit card statements to see if they've done the same to you.
This company will take your order, take your money, lie to you about the product and delivery, and then send you nothing. Hey are incredibly dishonest. Avoid doing business with them at all cost!
This place is an absolute joke my ring came looking nothing like the picture and it was fully tarnished green with the cheapest emerald stone I've ever seen
This is the biggest piece of trash company I've ever dealt with online. Delivery times are absolutely ridiculous and product was poor quality. Do not even think about wasting $ with this crap show.
I placed an order on a jacket since Las October 2022 they keep postponing the delivery I supposed to receive it Wedesney June 14 and they postpone again till next month very unprofessional no updates nothing
Steer clear of this lot. My issues persist after several months. Had to lodge complaint with credit card provider. Poor and very slow, if any, response to communication.
Beware of cheap products at high prices. And remember that $14.95 a month membership fee. What a rip off this place is. If I made products like this,I would probably be in jail.
I ordered a gift for my brother. 1 Knife. Bradford continued to send the whole set. I thought, okay it will be a nice gift, but now Bradford attempts to send things I did Not Order to my home and attempts to charge me. These are for things I DID NOT WANT or ORDER.
Returned an item, but no refund yet keeping calling and emailing but they give me the run around. Can a lawyer do something or our they getting away with it...
Absolutely horrible---ordered jewelry box on 11/9/14 for xmas delivery for my daughter--Keep checking on line... finally called-- promised that it would be here by xmas... WRONG-- just got notice 1/5/15 that it would not arrive till after 2/28/15--- Have definitely cancelled order and will NEVER order from or recommend this company ---HORRIBLE business methods--- just be honest and let people know what is really happening
Answer: When a company this size, keeps your money and lies countless times, hours spent waiting and talking to employees and supervisors and report you for not paying when they have your money isn't a company I would recommend to anyone.
Answer: Hi Tina. Sorry for your crappy experience with The Bradford Exchange - I know the feeling. I would dispute the payment, but make sure you take pictures and be very descriptive of why the item was not as advertised. The Bradford Exchange is certainly NOT what they once were; their products used to be a much better quality than they are now.
