The parcel arrived from amazon to their warehouse and it showed heavy item (50kg) so immediately contacted them that it was not my parcel, but they insisted it was mine, i was emailing them back and forth trying all the effort to get the message across, i even sent the invoice of what i ordered on amazon to them but they refused to take any actions, so i end up paying them to release the parcel as they started charging for storage fee on the basis of $5 per day, and when i got this super heavy item a boxing punching bag or something i was absolutely furious so i called them asking for full refund because i have been trying to contact them since day 1 that it was not my parcel, anyway, dont use borderlinx the end of story, they will deliberately try to $#*! you up on the third time as they pretend to be trustworthy on the first and second shipping so it makes you think this shipping company is great and so on, but just wait they will rip you off big time later on, sneakily charging you for storage fee and overvalue your parcel so they can get a high profit out of the shipping charges.

If a customer claim that the item/s do not belong to him/her, we'll always check and verify the name and account number of the customer stated on the Merchant Address Label. This is to ensure the items that actually belongs to the customer are not removed. In both cases we will check the physical package we have in hand.

If you can provide your Case ID we can investigate what really happened here. Truly sorry though that your shopping experience wasn't the best. At Borderlinx, our top priority to make your shopping prompt and absolutely smooth.

Incredibly useless company. I had 10 parcels which were released on the 19th of October, and as of today, nothing has arrived. The website says parcels are being processed. I have sent many emails and keep getting the standard excuse of warehouse backlog. I sent an email to Jerome Mercier, the CEO of Borderlinx, no reply for 2 days. Emailed again yesterday and he emailed back saying his Customer Services Manager would be in touch. As of tonight, no response. If the CEO can't be bothered, why would any of his staff be worried. I have never encountered anything like this in all my business life. Have started a paypal case for my priority shipping costs, but it will probably take a lot more time and energy to get back the cost of the goods lost. They still keep claiming that the 10 parcels are not lost! If anyone does start a class action, please inform the rest of us. This is theft on a grand scale, and Borderlinx should not be be allowed to get away with this.

Update today Nov 2nd - apparently 3 parcels are on their way, still waiting for 7 parcels to arrive - order no is *******.

Still waiting today, 3rd November, no update. 7 parcels missing on one shipment and 8 missing on another. FRAUDULENT company.

If you are considering whether to use Borderlinx, please read my case.

I ordered a Hermes bag online and having it shipped from the Germany hub to my home. The shipment was sent out late, and after expressing my unhappiness, I was given a 30% refund of my shipping charges. After a long wait, the package finally arrived. But to my horror, it was another person's Hermes bag! My bag was sent to the other customer and the other customer's bag was sent to me! I am extremely mad about the mix-up. Many days have passed from the wrong delivery date to the package pick-up date for redelivery. I demand a compensation as Borderlinx cannot assure me that the bag is not used during the days when the bag was with the other customer. Another reason was, what if the bag when it is returned to me is a counterfeit bag? I am not an expert to assess a Hermes bag and I have to bear the responsibility? After days of stating my case and rationale through emails for days, the refund/compensation that I am getting is only the shipping charges that I have paid and a USD $50 voucher should I want to use Borderlinx service again. For your information, the bag costs 5 thousand plus Euro dollars and the compensation that I am getting is that pathetic.

As of now, I still haven't receive my correct package.

You can decide whether to use Borderlinx service.

I will NEVER use this service again!
My package was delivered to Borderlinx on December 4th, 2017 at 2:55 pm. It is now 10:35am on December 7th, 2017 and I have yet to be able to communicate with Borderlinx or to obtain accurate information as to where my package is as it is STILL not showing in my account when I check my dashboard.
I have tried communicating with their customer service staff via the online chat, via email and via Facebook Messenger. The chat staff were unable to get me information on my package, I never received a reply to my email and after providing all the required information for them to track down my package, they have completely ignored my repeated attempts to follow up. I cannot find a phone number for customer service as well.
This feels EXTREMELY sketchy! I will be looking into my options as to how I can either recover my missing package or be compensated for the theft.
DO NOT USE BORDERLINX!

I had a package that has should come to them, but there has been a problem, because they say to me that their UK address is Daventry, but the postal code is of Northampton, then the customer service, doesn't know the difference among a county and a city, Northampton and Daventry are two different cities, and Northamptonshire is a county, and I m not of UK and I know this things, Then to fix the problem I ask them to send me an old tracking number to verify the address and they sent me fake codes which I couldn't verify, or they said to me that they can't share this private information. When this happened I understand that they are far away to be professionals and make business.

I have been using other freight forwarding companies for years, but decided to try Borderlinx. When my very first package with them arrived and was marked into my Borderlinx Suite Number 1619-6387, they sent me an email notifying me the item was there. Then they said it was on their "prohibited" list, and I needed to return it.

I followed the procedure to return by doing this:

- complete their return request form
- attached a pre-paid FedEx label for the package
- paid the $20 return handling fee
- submitted all the correct info

I received a email support ticket a couple days later confirming that my return is being processed and will be shipped out within 2 days.

Approx 10 days later and I have chatted with Live Chat support MANY times - only to get the same nonsense of "your shipment will be sent tomorrow"... but tomorrow never comes!

I also have support ticket communication which RARELY ever gets answered.

I really think this company BORDERLINX just steals people's packages and strings them along. There is no resolve in this at all.

It took about 8 days for Borderlinx to acknowledge my Return request, and I finally got an email a few days ago saying my package was shipped - but guess what!?

The tracking number shows empty still, so it has NOT been shipped! They are all liars at BORDERLINX.

Support ticket code is *******.

The customer phone numbers do not work, they just ring and the mailbox is full LOL!

BORDERLINX is the absolute WORST forwarding company online - STAY AWAY!

Though BL was expensive, i never had many issues with them until 6 months ago when they decided to change their warehouses. I have a shipment (2 packages) back in August and here is the timeline -
- for 2 months BL claimed my shipment was categorized as dangerous goods when infact it was not. The same item was in both packages, BL ships one package, but denies to ship the other at the same time!
- After 2 months they agree to ship
- Upon checking they lost few items within that package
- after 2 months and relentless follow-ups, they claim the package to be lost and asked to send the invoice.
- I send the invoice and purchase the items from Amazon and ship through another reliable company unlike BL.
- They asked to wait 30-45 days for re-imbursement.
- Now they come back saying the package has been found and there is a storage charges that i have to pay which they will try and "waive".!
- I was asked to go to the portal and release the shipments by paying the shipping charges. (no compensation what-so-ever).
- I check with customer support out of the 3 items supposed to be in the package, one is still missing.

Would have rated 0 stars if the site allows to, but it won't. Spent a ridiculous amount of time, energy, patience, peace of mind, effort, for so many months.

With so many cusotmers losing their packages, I suspect that they are just a bunch of thieves!

Never will I use Borderlinx again!

HORRIBLE

I created an account on this site for the sole purpose of writing a review about these thieves! They are by far the worst freight forwarder EVER created! Their staff is incompetent and they steal you left and right with illogical methods of calculating your order to maximize their revenue with the worse justifications ever! You buy a box which is 13cm x 13cm x 5cm, which weight nothing, they tell you based on the volumetric weight, this is 2 KILOS! You try to buy that, but then they continue, i bought on top of that 3 peaces of fabric which are 10 x 10 x 1, they calculated each one of those fabrics as half kilo each, and instead of then consolidating the items and taking the overall volumetric weight, which would still be 2 KILOS, they would sum up 2+0.5+0.5+0.5 generating a new 3.5 Kilos shipment, though these peaces of fabric sit on top of the 1st box not taking ANY volumetric space, nor adding any weight! For a small box of LEDs which cost me $10, and 6 fabrics which cost me around $15 total, they are asking for a whooping $70. Go figure! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Dear Adel, There is apparently big misunderstanding on your part as how Borderlinx works despite being explicitly explained on the website, FAQs, even in your account as you login.

Let me try to clarify your concern raised-

Volumetric weight concept is given under menu on the home page for every one's to see. http://www.borderlinx.com/pages/faq/volumetric-weight

It reads - "The cost of transporting a shipment can be affected by the amount of space that it occupies on an aircraft, rather than the actual weight. This is the volumetric (or dimensional) weight."

When you login to your account, we show you clearly the real weight and dimensions of the package so you can verify when you receive it at your address.

We have an online Cost Calculator on the home page to get an estimate prior to shopping with seller.

The statement just above the online cost calculator reads- "It is important to note that the shipping cost is based on the actual weight or volumetric weight - whichever is the greater. Volumetric weight is the size of the actual box in which the merchant packs your purchase, not the products themselves. Please click here for a detailed explanation of volumetric weight."

Also, under menu on the home page, we have clarified on our repacking policy-

"We only repack individual shipments. We do not merge two or more shipments into one. We do not repack all goods."

We regret that you were not aware of these basic information's about our services leading to your frustration now, it happens customer may over look them. We expect our customers to be aware of the process and policies we have in place to avoid this kind of misunderstanding about our services.

My package arrived at Borderlinx UK warehouse over a week ago, and it was noted that I had a prohibited item. I sent an email to customer service to dispose the prohibited item so I could get the other items shipped. No response from Borderlinx, even though their mail said they would reply in 24hrs.
Next day, I did a livechat and the customer svs person said they would ask their warehouse to expedite. This was 1 week ago, and no response from warehouse, and no change in my parcel status, even though the customer svs during the livechat said that it would take 1-2 days max to get it settled.
1 week later, after multiple emails, and another livechat still no status change. And I keep getting generic answers from their customer service that they have notified their warehouse to expedite. What is the warehouse people doing?
My other stuff is much more expensive than the prohibited item, and I want it disposed off, so I can just get the other items shipped out. Why is it taking so long?! I don't want to end up being charged extra if my items get delayed and stuck in their warehouse over the storage period when its their fault for the delayed processing.

Damn Awesome Thing

I'm a business man, although so many bad reviews. But I don't give damn. I love the service. Before I came here I had to get items shipped myself, had to contact a lot of shippers etc. then the Indian Custom officers, never understanding, never responding. I'm glad about this service, I can literally leave the custom clearance to them, they are wonder guys, I do not know how do they handle customs, but whatever they do at least they get me my items, sometimes bit late but most of the time surprisingly fast. Within local delivery a lot of merchants get me items in 5-6 days, it is amazing to find that Borderlinx could get me packages from international borders in that same 5-6 days. Really grateful to Borderlinx. Where Have You Been My Whole Life. My father who is a retired engineer from BHEL says that only if this service had been there during his time then whole BHEL would have been using this service to get small machine parts built in Germany. They themselves wouldn't have to go to Germany to get them.
One last suggestion, for Boederlinx, I wish they had an app so that I can use the service anytime on the go.

I have 5 packages and total weight is 4.67kg. The promotion is 5kg to get 20% discount. Borderlinx charging me 5kg shipping but refused to honor the 5kg shipping discount.

Firstly, sad to know you didn't qualify for the 5kg promotion. As you must be aware all promotions are set with specific Service Agreement and in this case your shipment must be or above 5 Kg. Your shipment weight is 4.67 Kg and as such it did not meet the criteria. Bad luck there but you can always hold the items for 30 days from date of delivery and purchase more to consolidate more items.

Once again regret the missed promotion.

Guys, just stay the hell away from this company. My first time using them and they have been the worst. Looks fine and dandy with blog posts about their good services. However, when you actually get your stuff shipped there... bad luck ensues. I would have saved money on ebay shipping directly to Singapore instead of using them. Instead, I chose to use them as I had separate packages that I thought that consolidation would be cheaper. My Ebay merchant had packed it in a big box so as not to damage they box and yet Borderlinx did not repack it so they used volumetric weight in the calculation. One game weighs at 0.38kg the other 2.12kg. Wow I guess game boxes vary widely in volume. 29 pounds for 2.5kg worth. Wow. Note game boxes are not under the repacking restrictions.

They replied my first inquiry quickly but when I followed up with another email stating that they are not following their own policy, they ignored it.

So whatever you do, don't use this scam of a company. Hell, I would have gotten a cheaper deal with Vpost if I knew how scrap Borderlinx is earlier on.
