My $6 package for my artificial flowers cost me $130 to ship.
After waiting almost a month now and having tried multiple times to find tracking information about my package from Borderlinx US, the operator each time has provided the same rehearsed response. I have paid for an express delivery service in DHL had to inform me the shipment was sent back to the shipper for some reason and now, Borderlinx cannot find it. It was a package that I needed urgently and certainly, I WILL NOT BE USING THIS COMPANY'S SERVICES again. When you speak to someone there, it is simply an overseas call centre who can't do anything. I HAVE WASTED MONEY PURCHASING MY GOODS AND MONEY ALSO WASTED ON PAYING FOR NO SERVICE. IN A NUTSHELL, BORDERLINX PREFERS TO STEAL MONEY RATHER THAN PROCURE ACTUAL SERVICE.
And to add insult to injury, apparently "half" my package has been sent back to Borderlinx and REQUIRES MY PAYMENT AGAIN JUST TO RELEASE IT. I've never heard of a policy of having to pay twice just to get service, certainly not in their terms and conditions. And don't try the online chat, they just DISCONNECT THE CONVERSATION WHEN THEY DON'T FEEL LIKE ANSWERING YOUR QUESTION! I'm asking them again (for the 6th time) and see what happens...
Getting the goods send to you from abroad on a timely basis is what I always look for from Borderlinx.
Amazing service, fast and efficient. I will use it more often for sure. And the transfers cost are very affordable.

I just paid 75 for shipment for an item valued 100. And this is inside EU. Normal shipping would about 10. Simply stay away from this s... t.

The speciality for shopping within the EU is that there are no attached import duty/tax. However, depending on the weight/size of the items you want to ship there is a minimum shipping cost. All our deliveries are handled by DHL, one of the best in the industry, to ship your items promptly and safely. It does come with a minimum cost which is very reasonable as most deliveries are fulfilled within unbelievable 2-3 business days.
We advise our customers to use the online Cost Calculator prior to purchase to know the estimated cost and to plan your shopping better.

Recently I purchase a hardware from the UK n used Borderlinx. I can fairly say, what has indicated on the response n work attitude on the customer services staff are fairly accurate. Not fixing this issue which customers have been indicating will affect the borderlinx in the long run. Personally, I will not use them again. When staff makes a mistake in estimating shipping cost to the point that it is 110% more than the given professional estimate & customers have to pick up that tab cos item is already in its warehouse, it really feels like a blackmailing in progress. Even if its an estimate, I believe 110% over the provided est cost for shipping is really not called an estimate, its call a mistake or error in the quotation given. Of cos, this is my opinion based on the experience I had with my only time usage from them. You might have a better experience unlike the 62% who have given 2/5 stars ratings.
1 star rating indicates - "Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!". Is utterly appropriate for the company mentioned.

Just saw Borderlinx replied to my review. Sadly the person replied did not read up on the case that was mentioned. It was their staff that provided the estimates, not me. I went online a requested borderlinx staff to provide the estimates, which she did. Just 110% difference from the amount I had to pay. You can see more details in your facebook if the admin of this site n fb site is a different person. I think what irritates most of the customers who commented here is when a mistake is made, the organisation does not take it in and learn from it to make its organisation a stronger one. But then again, thats my opinion.
Dear Alex, Provided the correct details were entered in the online Cost Calculator, the estimate will nearly be the same as the actual cost when the package arrive. The variance in the shipping fee will arise when the customer enters the 'items' weight/dims instead of the outer 'package'' it will be delivered it. We have clearly stated on the website that we will always consider both the dead weight and volumetric weight of the package and heavier one will be used to calculate the shipping fee.
If you can share your Suite number, we can directly email you how the calculation has been done. Its absolutely transparent and surely not misleading.
However, we feel sorry that you didn't find the service to your expectation. We always keep improving and customer satisfaction is our top priority. Everything was ok. Very professional service, very fast. The packages arrived in only one day from Frankfurt to Cyprus.
For the 3rd day after register at borderlinx, i tried to use their US/UK Hubs, but when my shipment arrived, i can't pay borderlinx to ship it to me, i contact them through live chat and they said need few days to solve it because i can't pay using my debit card, but my debit card works fine on another website, today is sunday, i think about 5 6 days but still no answers from borderlinx, while i need my shipment urgently for Dad Birthday, I recomended stay away from this forwarding company, i wouldn't say my debit card problem while i can pay it everwhere online shopping website, and i'm not using another people credit/debit card to pay borderlinx for my shipment!

I really felt the need to post something regarding Borderlinx's performance. So I ordered something from SK-II (a luxury skin care) and put Borderlinx's given address. And since the product is so expensive, I was so paranoid with how the product will reach me (USA to Saudi Arabia). Only then did I realize to look at Borderlinx reviews (yes, after placing and finishing my order with SK-II), then I saw that almost 70% of the reviews are bad. Then I became even crazier and began to doubt Borderlinx's capacity to deliver my order complete and on time. To add to the story, I have to wait until Monday because my order from SK-II reached Borderlinx late Friday and for all we know, they have no office during weekends. So I patiently waited and you know what guys, starting Monday morning, my order was processed and successfully delivered to the courier and no 2 days it reached me. Also, I only paid the express saver so I was expecting to get it at least 4 days from the courier (DHL) to Riyadh but it came as fast as the express. So please be specific on your reviews, don't post something that is too general as if all their service a below standard or not satisfactory because for me, I was beyond satisfied with their service. Also, did I mention how graceful Vishal (borderlinx online chat) was in addressing my concerns. Thank you Borderlinx, this is the only way I could express how happy I was in receiving my SK-II products.

Right. Used Bordelinx UK on a number of occasions and the service has progressively gone from poor to pathetic. Purchased a bottle of fertilizer from Amazon and this was apparently delivered in a plastic bag and in perfect conditions to Borderlinx UK.
The item was then placed in a plastic DHL envelope by Bordelinx and shipped to Singapore. Needless to say that I received the bottle without contents.
Complained with Bordelinx and after a few weeks I receive this sad sad sad reply

Our records indicate that, on this occasion, the packaging of your shipment was not sufficient to protect your consignment from the rigors of road and air transportation; therefore, with regret, in line with the clause 12* of the DHL Express carriage terms, we are unable to accept your claim in relation to this consignment.

Generally a very positive experience with Borderlinx, and I have been using them fairly regularly for more than 5 years: the process is simple, and delivery via DHL is fast and painless (with the caveat that I live in Hong Kong which a) serves as a distribution hub for the rest of Asia so things tend to arrive very quickly; b) does not have import duties or a difficult customs regime). The few times I've had issues (e.g., with a shipment getting lost in their warehouse) they have generally been resolved quickly and successfully. The only downside to this great service is that it can be pricy, and they could perhaps do a bit more to improve the efficiency of shipments and thereby lower the cost--still, when you consider what you're getting, the price is not unreasonable, and I have the comfort of knowing that my goods will arrive quickly and in good condition.
I'm surprised by the negative reviews on this site; while some of them deal with situations I haven't encountered (e.g., fraudulently ordered goods) I suspect most of them stem from: a) people not having read the terms and understanding what they're getting themselves into; b) people not having previously encountered the expense and complication of global fulfilment; c) people expecting the same painless service they would get ordering in the US from Amazon. Newsflash: shipping one-off items globally via air freight is both expensive and complicated, and you have to expect to pay up and sometimes encounter problems. I think that if you start with this knowledge and reasonable expectations, you'll have a very satisfactory experience. (I did get hit with their $5/day storage fee once, but I only have myself to blame for that--I received clear warnings on multiple occasions, so I don't criticise them.)
I have items misplaced, not repacked and held up for shipment but no response at all. Looks like i will lose all the money. This website is fraud
This is my first time using forwarding service - I learned to avoid Borderlinx next time by all costs. This company is operating at a level I have rarely seen - and I am a lawyer. On the main site they warn you that they are experiencing a backlog due to moving of the hub. They also explain that it will take them a couple of days more than usual to ship the items. However, it is clearly not so. I bought my item on eBay and had it shipped over to them. Borderlinx received the parcel on the 30th Sept. It has been 1 week now (not just a couple of days) and they still dont know when my item is going to ship, and I have to point out I paid extra to have it shipped as soon as possible. The last answer I got was to wait at least another week (so in total 2 weeks or more), for a job that takes 15 minutes. This is really bad bussines practice and very clear case of customer misleading. As other rewievers pointed out, their customer service is useless, they have no clue as to where the item is and when it's going to ship. Uterly useles. I also recieved tracking number (*******XX), but whats the point of having a number if nothing is happening? Moreover, if I want to return the item, I have to pay additional costs (20$+), and the time it's going take to ship it back is the same (due to the backlog, of course) if I just let go and wait for the parcel to ship as originally agreed prior to the refund. My advice is - stay away from them. They are bordering to a scam, no doubt about it.

The current situation is an absolutely one-off incident. Being humane, things do not always go as planned like the recent warehouse move. The delay in operations was unexpected which resulted to subsequent backlog and we continue to work hard to clear it and be up to date.

Received 2 packages each containing a bottle of 8.5 ounce shampoo in my account. One was 0.2kg and the other was 3.49kg. I had another package with 10 items including 3 bottles of the same shampoo, and it was 3.15kg. I asked for the 3.49kg package to be repacked, obviously. They said ok, they apparently repacked the package, but the weight was still 3.49kg. They had the cheek to state on my account that they had achieved 77% savings in weight (!). I enquired again and asked them to check. One officer told me there must have been a mistake in their updating; another told me the warehouse checked again and 3.49 is correct. I'm starting to wonder whether I've been chatting with robots who cannot tell how ridiculous the answers are. They are basically telling me that the repacking achieved nothing. 3.49 kg for one bottle of shampoo, is more than the weight for my other package which has 10 items including 3 bottles of the same shampoo. Makes no sense whatsoever. I have to say the service is extremely disappointing and the whole process was a waste of my time. If you can't repack properly, don't claim to provide the service.

Please be advised that Borderlinx Repacking service is a 'Free' one and the goal here is to reduce the shipping cost for you wherever possible. Our hub has stock of DHL pouches which are used to repack non-fragile and small items to reduce the dimensions. As such, not all items can be repacked- not the fragile items of course (too risky) and the big ones as well (wouldn't fit into the pouch).
Despite our best attempts to help you as much as we can, sometimes the dimensions can be reduced only marginally due to which the final calculation in Volumetric weight can be minimal or unchanged. Sorry for not being able to repack the items this time around:(

Parcel was signed and delivered to the US warehouse in OH on Oct 05th, but up until now, the parcel is still not yet updated. All of my other parcels were updated within 2 working days in my suite and i do not understand why this expensive item is not updated in 15 days. I checked with the customer service everyday and got the same answer "We will send a request to the hub and you will have a reply very soon via email". Since the item value is high, i am very concerned. Can somebody step up and take care my case? Or else i will report to the police for record of this case. All my items under $30 were received, but the high value item is not updated?! Ticket number is *******. I need help. P.S.: If you see the item in my suite now, this is not the item i am talking about. I am now waiting for my expensive item to be updated and deliver all the items at once. Please do not say you see my item is updated on my suite. Please check the ticket number - *******.

I received an email that my case is closed because my shipment was released. This is ridiculous! I wonder did they check my request in these 17 days?! The shipment which i have released are the other items! Totally not the one i am now waiting.
