Terrible service - they damaged my item through poor packaging and will not compensate me for loss - you are better of using alternative such as MyUS - these guys are cowboys!
I bought few goods from Amazon US with total cost of 230 $. I assumed Borderlinx would be reasonable when we consolidate the shipments together. Borderlinx alerted me on mail as soon as my shipments were received by them in US. While shipping to my country India I have given 3 options for shipping charges - standard, express and express with duty+tax paid. All have increasing shipping cost.
I assumed express service with duty+tax paid will everything included - means additional charges that without duty-tax paid are for duty+tax. Delivery time for both express services are same.
While making payment the charges displayed was 200$ when I was about to make card payment. However car was debited by 340 $. Site never indicated this amount.
Receipt for duty+tax will be by DHL which is actually suppose to be by customes. Duty+tax charges are apart but additional 50$ for this kind of express service is for documentation.
Since delivery time is same, I would have opt for express service without duty and paid duty at my door step to DHL.
The most ridiculous part of service is you can't revert the options or review the deal with Borderlinx. Customer care person was adamant and asked me for the screen shot proofs of the options.
So, this is my first and last service from Borderlinx. Better to opt delivery directly from seller sites.

I had used Borderlinx and paid thousands of dollars for the service and today when I had requested for a waiver for the storage fee which is higher than the cost of my item, it was just flatly denied! What a lousy way of business! WORST SHIPPING SERVICES EVER!
The customer service team is sneaky and never admit to make mistakes.
I asked to refund a shipment, paid 20 USD and filled a return form filling it 3 times with tracking number (two were correct and one was wrong).
They returned the wrong shipment and when I asked why they feed back that you asked for that, I told them you have 3 tracking numbers and one of them is wrong then you selected wrong shipment and returned it, if you have any doubt why you don't hold it and sent E-mail for a clarification.
"I told them this is a shared mistake between myself and you". I already paid 20 USD before and chased the shipment that you sent by mistake. So please return the right shipment but I ask not to pay more money as it is a shared mistake.
They start the sneaky game, I asked to escalate it up to a supervisor but the employee kept sneaking around and was arguing not to do so, then finally he did. When I talked to supervisor he asked to me to talk to the first employee I talked before. Since this time I can't talk to him even when I ask to. They keep mentioning he is offline.
They asked me to send an E-mail explaining the case. But no vain.
Finally: I told them I prefer to donate the shipment rather than paying you money again.

They claim to save you up to 60% on regular shipping. Truth is they do not and freight is expensive - you can find much cheaper if you shop around. My advice dont use unless you are desperate.

Stay away from them, they are charging me 133 dollars to ship a baby camera to Australia. While a similar item on amazon it would cost me 20 dollars.

Worst experince ever! A complete scam. No customer service. Do not use them! I will also try to report to authorities. You will loose your money if you ship to them it is a complete rip off.
Have shipments over hundreds of dollars worth of goods still stuck at my mailbox. Their favorite excuse is "technical glitch". In the meantime no christmas presents for my family and held back goods. Choose a better and more reliable freight forwarder. Don't loose your money.
It amuses me how a borderlinx rep even bothers to respond to their obviously low rating and horrible reviews they are getting from the community. I challenge them by posting the process of escalating support cases with a senior US or EU rep to resolve critically outstanding problems with the highest priority rather then having their incompetent/ unprofessionel service team answer the calls. In my mind anybody that thinks they can treat consumers the way they do should be made extinct. Spreading the word: Clean up your act or go the hell out of business.
STAY AWAY FROM BORDERLINX! Totally unhelpful so-called customer service did nothing to solve a problem created in the first place by its deficient web site, procedures, and incomplete explanations. This outfit still has my Uniquo USA package, which Borders was to transship to Canada, a loss to me of almost $200.
Okay, I'm done trying to reason with their support, especially seeing the avalanche of similar negative reviews from other customers whose packages were "lost". It's been two weeks since my parcel arrived at their facility. Their support assistants act as if the situation was normal. They parrot the same questions to buy time (first they wanted a tracking number from Amazon and actually claimed they did receive the item, now they've asked for the invoice pdf file - so it's "lost" at their facility, pretty much like many other items mentioned by other reviewers below).
On the third round of livechat they did finally create a ticket (#*******, if their representative ever appears here) with a promise to contact me via email, but naturally, I never heard back from them.
Their livechat is a pitiful excuser for support service. They do not have a contact phone or a real address (the one listed on the website is phony) and there is no way to contact them directly.
Based on other reviews I don't really expect to receive my package but there's at least some consolation in leaving a honest review.
Avoid them. Borderlinx is a scam. They are absolutely non-transparent and you will have no ways to influence the situation. There are other safer services out there. With Borderlinx, you pay double for what will end up as a gift to their staff - perhaps with a few rare exceptions (not counting the fake-sounding half-line positive reviews here).
Never use this company. Full stop. If no other option left, walk with your parcels across the land and sea. That's still better than Borderlinx. My parcel has spent a good part of September on their racks, waiting to be shipped. Here we are on 29th of September and my parcel is still somewhere with Borderlinx. They claim they have handed the shipment info over to DHL a week ago and I have a tracking number but the item is still with Borderlinx and DHL does not have it. I hate these people. The birthday of my daugher has been ruined because this pathetic company did not deliver the big dream gift. There is no other way how to buy it in the country I currently live in.
These guys have completely failed when moving their warehouse and the ensuing chaos has marred the hopes of thousands and thousands of customers like myself. The response from the help line was pathetic. Mind you you are paying a lot of money for this rubbish service.
Heed my advice - never use Borderlinx. It is the worst forwarder in the world. I am an Aramex customer now.

I have released and paid for my shipment out of the HONG KONG warehouse on the 12th of October. Today is the 20th! The shipment hasn't moved! Despite repeated LIVE chat complaints, etc. No Progress! Is this company going bankrupt? Facing Financial Issues that can't dispatch parcels held in their possession? Is this company facing serious Operational Issues! I demand full refund and immediate dispatch of my products.

Mixes feelings as I've had both positive and negative experiences with them. For small items (including clothing and books), they have been okay. Prices aren't the cheapest by any means but it does allow me to buy from US merchants who won't ship overseas. Delivery is pricey but reliable. However for one toy that I ordered from Amazon, they did try to charge me a huge amount (as they used volumetric weight). The toy cost US$30 (plus $10 to ship to Borderlinx), they estimated shipping (16.5 kg for a 1kg item) at over $160! Not worth it to return as it would cost me $20 to just return to merchant. I ended up buying it again from another merchant that ships overseas and it only cost me US$100 for product and overseas shipping!
So bottom line is I may use them for some smaller items and only from merchants who won't ship overseas. (For eg. LL Bean ships overseas and Borderlinx charged me the same amount -even though I was sending it with other stuff - what it would have cost me to ship direct from LL Bean to my Hong Kong address.)
These are the facts. Ordered 8 pieces of clothing items (light wear) worth 90 pounds. Items delivered to Borderlinx and they said the weight was 8kg and including some crazy import tax calculation, wanted to charge me 210 pounds for shipping from UK to Thailand.
I asked them to send the item back to the shop as the shop provides free returns. There's even a free returns label provided. Just to return, Borderlinx would charge 20 pounds for 'admin fee'. To send my items to another UK address (which would have been free had I sent it from shop to the UK address), it would cost 35 pounds. So basically, the company presents itself very well at the start, but they charge some exorbitant shipping fee. If you don't want to ship, they charge you exorbitantly for returning to shop or to send within UK. You are left with little choice. I paid 35 pounds to send the clothes to my friend's address. It took them 7 days to send the items, with numerous reminders from me. The weight stated on the DHL package when it arrived at my friend's house was 0.5kg! How did 0.5kg become 8kg?
So just be careful, nothing is transparent and they have you hostage once your items are in their hands. It's actually quite a perfect scam. If you don't pay up, they have your items for free to be auctioned off. If you don't ship overseas, they still get a huge profit from sending your item from UK to UK. If you choose to ship overseas, you're paying a crazy amount of money to do so.
My advice: Avoid them like the plague!
Brilliant service to shop in the US. I was able to save quite a lot with shipping all my ebay parcels together. And their staff was very helpful to help repack one of my parcels.
My typical shipment of $500 of goods costs me $500... you do the math. Please please please stay away from this awful company (den of thieves)

Everyday the reply was the same, that due to the high volume, my shipment will be updated by end of day, which never happened. Until I got a different reply on 21 June, that my shipment has never arrived US hub. When I trying to call US hub to clarify the case, they ensured that never received the shipment & that the agents on the live chart were just wasting my time. & she suggested opening a claim on UPS. On the same day I called UPS & they opened an investigation & got the result that "Borderlinx has acknowledged receiving my shipment". Since then, I sent them a daily email to ask about any updates, & they never reply, & if I tried to ask thru the online chat, they keep telling me u'll get a reply thru the email. They are playing the sneaking game with me, & seems they will never find my shipment although they acknowledged to receive it according to UPS investigation.
I'm really disappointed, it's a 57 LB box, how come they loose such a big box?

However, incase we shipped the items in good condition and is damaged or lost in transit, the carrier is responsible. As such, Safetylinx insurance is highly recommended for full coverage of item cost and shipping.
