Their rates are way expensive! When I asked why they claimed "Oh we use the fastest and most reliable service, DHL"... I used DHL, Aramex and TNT locally in Kuwait and I know for sure that DHL is not the fastest or reliable... Borderlinx will charge you way expensive rates where you can get the same service with any other courier co. I personally used borderlinx twice and then went back to using another shipping co which offers real FAST and RELIABLE services for a very REASONABLE price.
I suspect they are most likely going to close the business and try to suck out as much money as possible from the clients last minute. Unfortunately stupid me I didn't read the reviews first before using them.
They lose things in their warehouse and it takes them a week to find them. In between when you ask for updates they tell you by tomorrow morning the issue will be solved, the day after they tell you again the same thing etc.
Then when you release things (obviously selecting express shipment as they lost so much time) they still do not send the shipment out but keep it laying around for several days up to a week but they still collect the charges for the express shipment (apparently they have a backlog in their warehouse but it is not advertised anywhere, so they gladly take the higher express charges).
Their "client services team" is in India and they have very obvious communication issues with their main location in the US.
I made a lot of bad experiences with companies but this one beats them all by miles! If it was the only company in the world offering this service I would still much rather take a plane to the US and pick the shipment up myself. Would be much quicker and less of a hassle. Especially if you have your own business avoid this scam at all costs as you will scare away all your customers.
If you are looking for a reliable shipping company try boxinus, they work perfectly and cost less than these thieves. Their answers I see here on the comments are all excuses. DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD!

After that I contacted customer service, they said please send ID Card, proof of address (billing electricity/water), and CC to team security. I have already submitted Everything to the Security Team, but it's been a week I wait and no replies to anything from them, I got my account is in suspend, the goods are not delivered, and they took my money! All are in good service mean? THIS DESERVES MORE CALLED FRAUD!

Nearly 7 months ago an item was confirmed as delivered to the BL warehouse. It has been 'lost' and BL refuses to replace, refund or provide basic information to enable me to progress the matter. APPALLING COMPANY with disgraceful customer service
Avoid this so called company at all costs. Their list of "prohibited items" is by no means exhaustive and they will add (ie. Steal) things at will once they receive them.

Borderlinx still owes me $105.00 for packages that I shipped. For no reason I was locked out of the employee website and never received my payment. TOTALLY wrong and very unprofessional!
They are promoting a fake cheap idea called "repacking"
I had a video game shipped to my mail box with actual weight of 0.2kg and surprisingly I found borderlinx calculating a 0.8 kg volumetric weight!
I contacted them through email a kazillion times asking, where is the repacking service for this item and to my surprise they refused to repack the item telling me it is an electronic item!
The invoice says it's a video game here is the copy guyz, your item description says it's a video game guyz!
Where is the repacking guyz?!
Although my item is correspondent to their repacking service terms yet they insist on making me pay more than twice the weight plus calculating the invoice 2 times the real value!

I am currently facing a big problem with borderlinx,
I have only 2 items stuck in UK since last week on hold,
And in the same time one item in the states from last week showing only one message they received the information of this item,

Really frustrating organisation. When a stolen credit card was used to order goods they refused to return the goods. Probably looking to resell them. Had to call the Police to rectify the matter. 42 days ago my parcel was departed to my country, through USPS. In september 18th I asked them to make a claim to USPS once the Post Service of my country said to me that the parcel was not in the country.
Since them Borderlinx seems to be cheating about it, saying all the time that the parcel is going through custom clearence costum process. But it is not. My counstry's Post Service says it would be on tracking events if that was the case.
After I insisted with them Borderlinx said it would get in touch with their shipping partner. But the answer was the same: custom clearence process. But it is not. Again my country's Post Service says if it is not in my country.
I supposed Borderlinx don't even bother to make a claim do USPS, and is saying the same thing expecting I will stop making the claim somehow.
The don't give a damn about you parcel once it was posted.
I will not work with Borderlinx anymore. It is not trustworthy.

First time dealing with the company, probably I lost USD$199 already!
First time buying from them, I needed something urgent, so bought from Amazon.com and shipped via 2nd day service to the suite address. Double checked address is correct and tracking showed delivered on time.
Amazon shows delivered, Broderlinx customer service said no, and initially asked me to wait for several days. Emailling them again, they asked for invoice. Sending PDF, they said characters wrong, resending PDF zipped, they said they couldn't open Zip files %#$^, finally got them noticed via sending them the invoice in JPG, they asked me to wait for 2 days, then never came back to me except asking me to be patient.
Asked them to be serious about the issue, no reply so far... What?
I have used many shipping forwarders in from the USA, this by far is the worst, I cant describe how a ripoff this company is, the reps are not professionals, the website is not functional, the service is below what I ever seen in my life, they are very difficult to work with and they are very expensive, 25 dollars admin fees only to consolidate shipment! While many other services do it for free or much less, they don't do anything to help their customers, I urge your to look else where and save your money, MYus or shipitto is the way to go, don't waste time with this service its a ripoff

We allow 30 days Free storage as well in order to allow our customers to shop and get their items delivered to the Borderlinx account so they can enjoy the consolidation services.

I have ordered an iteam thru ebay. I needed to pay twice because the first time it got returned to the warehouse for no reason. So effectively i had to pay custom taxes twice and now they are not paying back the money.
Worst, WORST customer service doing claims they cannot held "we will answer within 2-3 days" and they dont answer. Needed to took action myself.

I paid a lot of money to have a shipment sent from the USA to Thailand. The shipment was stuck in customs for 3 days and Borderlinx never contacted DHL to resolve, even after I contacted them twice. Finally, I got tired of waiting and contacted DHL to resolve myself.

Dont trust this bunch! I had a disagreement with a seller on ebay. The resolution was closed in my favour. The seller contacted borderlinx (as this was the postal address) and they suspended my account?
THEY ALSO SUPPLIED THE SELLER WITH SENSITIVE INFORMATION ABOUT MY BUSINESS WITHOUT MY AUTHORITY.
THIS HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM!
I had already paid and received the parcels in the UK and had NEVER made any claim.
Their pathetic "offshore" customer service believed that they had some sort of moral standing ground about how the seller had been treated?

This is the worst scam I have ever seen. I am from Canada. First, they charge you Duty fees saying that you won't pay them whenever you get the package, which is false because there is a 1 in 3 chances that you pay duty fees when you get a package crossing the border, so if a compagny charges for those fees in the first place, they're straight up stealing your money. Then, they charge you an INSANE price for shipping, talking about volumetric wight bull$#*!. They never repackaged my order so "it would be smaller thus costing less money". The only shipping service they offer is Express shipping, which is about 4 times more expensive than regular ground shipping. They charged me 96$ of shipping for a 3 pounds parcel (which was worth 40$). Sure i would have got the thing in 2 days, but i frankly dont give a $#*! if it takes 4 months to get here, but have the decency of offering something else than Express shipping. Also, if you cancel the order, they charge you 35 USD. So you either pay for insane shipping, pay for cancelling, or they destroy your item.
Will never ever do business with those scammers ever again, and I will STRONGLY copy this post everywhere to be sure that less people get's $#*!ed by them.

I've used Borderlinx to ship items from the USA to Australia around 10 times in the last 2-3 years. The service works as advertised when the following 2 things happen: (a) your parcel is successfully delivered to Borderlinx's warehouse, (b) Borderlinx accepts and updates your account dashboard that the parcel is received. You're then free to 'release' the shipment. You receive the parcel. Happy. Again, Works when the above 2 conditions are fulfilled.
The Horrible
My last parcel was sent to their warehouse in the midst of their move to a new warehouse. Parcel tracking showed that it was successfully delivered and signed for. To be sure, i sent an email to Borderlinx to find out if all parcels sent to the old address will be re-directed to their new warehouse - this they confirmed, and i was advised to look out for an update to my account dashboard. But... but... two things never showed up: One, my parcel. Two, customer services. I sent multiple email to Borderlinx Customer Services to request for updates, only to be sent cursory/ obligatory responses & apologies for the lack of updates; that the team is looking; that they're 'sorry' for their poor response... and then radio silence. Both my parcel and Borderlinx customer services disappeared.
So it is. If you're intending to use Borderlinx, use it knowing that it's a service that works - Except when it doesn't. And when it doesn't, or when something goes wrong, don't expect your parcel nor customer services to show up.

However, certain issues that need to be checked with the ground staff (hub)- remember they don't have access to the physical items to verify for you, technical or finance issues which are managed by a separate specialist team, or certain matters that senior level team has access too.
