Do not use Borderlinx. They charged premium price for shipping of goods from United States to Singapore but service is totally horrendous.
I order my merchandise during Black Friday and used Borderlinx to ship it to Singapore. Suppose to arrive before Christmas but until now the goods has not arrived.
I emailed Borderlinx and they could not tell me the location of goods saying it wasn't shipped and there is backlog so couldn't locate my goods. Told them to refund and compensate for my losses which I paid insurance for they simply refused and told me to wait.
We are 1 month pass Christmas and now they simply ignore the emails I sent to them.
Two months and I am still waiting for my package to be returned to me. I keep getting the runaround that there are delays and then I get this message,

What this means is that Borderlinx has a lien on these items and we have the right to sell them in order to cover unpaid storage charges, which now total US150 (30 x US5 = US150). Just so you know, you will be entitled to any surplus proceeds from the sale after we deduct the storage charges and the costs of sale.
They are a big embezzler.
I try them this day and i surprise that they doubling the weight and value of my items three time, then i found the fees for shipping it will be more then items price then i decide to leave my goods for them for free.
Really they are swindler and cheat and fraud and trickster.
My $49 item from AMAZON has cost me US 180 to ship to Hong Kong. I've previously used this company to ship a bunch of stuff, none of which they repacked and consolidated like they advertise they would. I will be looking for a new freight solution.
I ordered a musical instrument from AMAZON to be shipped to Saudi Arabia via Borderlinx. The shipment delivered to Dayton, OH, US signed and received by: WEINERT.on 6th, of October 2016. Till date I do not received my package. I keep calling and following no one answer. What is this?
Use anyone else, any other supplier. They say things like 'consolidate ' and ' repackage ', neither of which they did. I wanted to abandon the package and donate the toys to a local charity because of extortionate shipping costs based on packages they neither repackaged or consolidated, however this was going to cost me 110USD.

Just never do it. The cost calculator is not accurate. My item was a simple flat item, calculated by dimension as being 3.38 pds by the provider, however I was charged for a package as 18.82pds. Absolute robbery. BOTH these weights were based on dimensions. They refused to repackage, even after requesting it.

This was my first time using this service. I wanted a bag that was no longer available in U.S. (Burberry) so I searched and found it in the UK. I was a little hesitant, initially, using this delivery service because of the total cost of my purchase but the reviews online were mostly positive. I ordered from Burberry UK on 1/13/16 and my purchases were received and logged in online, promptly, for me to track. The shipping cost was consistent with the estimated calculator cost and my purchases were set up to ship on 1/15/16 (Friday). The tracking information for DHL was updated and my purchase was shipped on 1/18/16; I received them this morning around 10:45am. All of my purchases remained in their original boxes and in mint condition. I was able to track from departure, through customs, to my home. I am extremely pleased with Boderlinx services and I will continue to use them in the future.

I have been going back and forth with them for over week now in order to repack my shipment and their claim they cannot repack footwear. I have bought my 2 shoes for 50usd and they want to charge me 163 USd for shipment, bunch of crooks.
Definitely I am going to shutdown my account.

The reason behind the decision was the fact that original shoe box will get badly damaged without the outer box. Incase the box is damaged, customer is not able to return the items if necessary.
The shipping fee calculated is based on the weight of the shipment- dead weight or volumetric weight, which ever is heavier. This is again clarified on the website- http://www.borderlinx.com/pages/faq/volumetric-weight
We advise our customers to use our online Cost Calculator to get a shipping estimate prior to purchase to avoid this kind of situation. The calculated estimate will not vary much from the actual cost provided the inputs are correct.

I've ordered good for 45 USD, then the package, which was less than 1kg was classified as a 3.5 kg package. There is no point checking the shipping calculator, because the truth is far from it. They won't repackage the items... At the end shipping this to Hungary was 90 USD. This is twice the price of the goods. I've contacted customer service and they are basically useless.
When I said, I am thinking of returning the items, they said that the cost will be 20 USD admin fee+ 15USD shipping fee.
Please note that tracked USP shipping cost for the good was 3 USD and I can prove this.
This was the first and last time I used Borderlinx.

Hello Tamas, Thank you for the feedback. The shipment cost can be based on the dead weight or on the volumetric weight, whichever is the greatest. This is due to the standard for Air freight transport which uses volumetric weight which factors in the dimensions on the package as well. As mentioned, the carrier will then take the greatest of the dead weight and the volumetric weight.

Though your shipment dead weight was 1.68kg, the dimensional/volumetric weight was 3.41kg with dimensions 8", 10", 13". Therefore, the calculated weight was correct and the shipping cost applied, which is based on weight, not on the value of the item, is correct. If you input the same information on our online cost calculator, you will get nearly the same result.
The final cost you paid was inclusive of import duty/tax to your country, and Borderlinx handled the documentations and clearance process on your behalf.
Additionally, our service is primarily to forward shipments from US/UK to your country address. We have the return policy for shipping items from our warehouse back to merchants incase of exceptions only. Due to cost of maintenance and manpower there is a handling fee of USD20, however, the shipping fee is not charged if you can provide a return prepaid label or arrange a pickup. Read the fine print before you send these guys anything. I had to pay $70 to return 2 items tthat they wouldn't ship to the merchant. Then I had to pay for the shipment from the merchant again. So I paid shipment and handling fees 4 times for 2 items: 2 x with the merchant and 2 x with Borderlinx.
Always on time, everytime! When in times of need, Borderlinx always delivers with fast and cheaper shipping fees! Hopefully this service will maintain all the way...

Well, every Concierge order is a challenge with these folks. Live chat is useless most times. Somehow they seemed to work for the first 2 shipments, but I guess the third one is the charm. Do not recommend for business or anything critical. Even though borderlinx shipping is quick, plenty of alternative service providers are better IMO (Vyking Ship, USgobuy, Bedabox or Usendhome), and seem more transparent than borderlinx and make doing business easy. I have given up and DO NOT expect a resolution. WILL NOT BE USING BORDERLINX AGAIN, EVER.

These other reviews gave me a fright after I had shipped goods from eBay to their US address. However, while the web site is a bit ropey (use Internet Explorer) I got my engine part in London about 3 days after Borderlinx got it from the eBay seller. It's not cheap but I saved a fortune buying the engine part in the US.
