Ordered a pair of suede boots and inserts, a week later, a package arrives with the wrong brand, color, and size. When filling out the return request, I was informed that these could not be exchanged because the boots I ordered were out of stock and that I would have to print out the return label ( dont have access to a printer) and that there would be a "small" $10 shipping fee. Called to complain. Was told again that the boots I ordered were out of stock. Not being able to print a return label would not be an issue as they will gladly mail me one...(another week) and once they received the boots (another week) they would happily exchange them. I asked... with as much patience as I could muster... how they were going to exchange them for something that was out of stock? The reps answer was... so you just want a refund? I asked about the $10 shipping fee and was told that it would be waived. The rep was unapologetic, short, and overall unfriendly. The I don't really care attitude was the last straw for me. Will NEVER purchase anything from this company ever again, my advice... unless you have a bunch of money you would like to send them and let them hold onto for a month or more and enjoy being talked to in a very condensending manner throughout the process... skip this one. I mistakenly ordered the same pair of boots twiice I contacted Bootbarn to cancel one of the orders. I received both pairs. Aa it turns out the boots were the wrong size. Called Bootbarn to let them know that I received both orders, was charged for both orders an need to send them back. I was instructed to send them back together. I was refunded for 1 pair. I have been trying to work with them to get a refund for the second pair for over a month. I lopened a complaint with PayPal hoping they will help. If you want Ariat boots order from Ariat. They are less expensive and the customer service is great. Save yourself the headache and don't order online from these people.
Ordered coveralls. Arrived wrong color. Needed them for work. All they could say is return them. Hard to do when you needed them asap. Will no longer buy from Bootbarn.

The item placed a hold on the ready available cash though and I didn't have time to order boots for my performance and didn't have the money available either.
So the very first time I find this place they said they had the jacket I wanted to buy for my son for Christmas. The guy said we have one XL left the only one around, so I drive all the way there just to find out it wasnt even the one I was talking about. I go on line and order the one I wanted. A couple days go by I get an email saying order is processing. Cool right? NOT 3 days later Im told ORDER CANCELED? None left? But I ordered on line and it took a freaking week to tell me this? I got less than a week to find another and have it shipped? WASTED A WEEK FOR NOTHING! NO THANKS YOU GET THE BOOT.
I order alot online and never had any issue. But this time I spent over 300 dollars and it charged me 4 times. I still haven't got it all back. I probably won't be ordering from bootbarn anymore.
"I had the worst experience I have ever had ordering through Boot Barn online. I placed an order December 28th with 2 day shipping and as of January 5th it STILL HAS NOT SHIPPED. I tried to call 8 different times on different days and waited for a representative for 30 minutes every time without any luck. I emailed customer service another 5 times with once again no luck. I had purchased a pair of Cody James boots from Boot Barn and didn't have a problem with them for a while but then all of a sudden one day the entire lining of the interior of one of the boots delaminated itself and my foot was stuck in the boot. When I tried to pull my foot out of it the entire lining ripped out from top to toe. I pursued having them replaced because there is supposedly a warranty on them for a year but was given the runaround by several people for several days, several emails and several calls.
They refused to even look at the boot, claiming that the damage was due to wear and tear and not due to a manufacturer's defect. However the other boot is perfectly fine with no similar damage. So obviously one of the boots was not made properly. They would not listen to the logic of that.
One of their ridiculous arguments was to state that because the defect did not reveal itself for several months, then it wasn't an actual manufacturer's defect. Which of course my reply to that was, "if it isn't possible for a manufacturer's defect to reveal itself within a years time then why do they have a year-long warranty for them."
Needless to say, I will never be shopping with Boot Barn again.
I ordered a shirt color green I re dived a shipping notice they shipped a red and black, so I ordered another one same thing this time I called lady said she cancelled the wrong one and was shipping the correct, again I had the same information red and black. Again I ordered a 3 shirt and again same thing happened. Called customer service representative told me she has seen this and to wait and I would probably get the correct short. Sure enough 3 days in a row I got a shirt and it was the correct color. So I took back 2 to the store to return them. Supposedly I was getting a refund for both the shirts, but my credit card only shows one credit I have called numerous times and still have nothing resolved. The last person names Marcie was rude and gave me the invoice number and told me to call my bank. Supposedly the funds were released to my bank a week ago, it nothing has showed up. While it is easy to do in store return, you have no informal and a customer service staff that lacks customer service. I presently have a pair of boots that I just got and due to the lack of service I am highly thinking of returning them and will never order another item from them online. This is all due to the customer service department. Too bad cute stuff. Please note with dealing on line orders and refunds are all email you get no paperwork ever and if you into your order history it doesn't show all your orders only the store can see them.
Went to Bootbarn and everything was made in China! Very sad! They are bought just like everyone else! We need made in USA! Sad to see!
Around the 1st of December I ordered boots for my grandson - right at $600 and paid with PayPal - boots came and he needed a larger size I went in to the order and processed an EXCHANGE. Over the next few days, I kept getting emails about a refund - I just thought it was an error. Then I got worried - replied back to one and they stated that they couldn't exchange an order paid by PayPal - NO Notice to
Me at all. I was expecting the boots any day - only to find that I had to wait on a refund and then reorder -. So - I did that to. Reordered - then I lost the 15% discount that I had received ion the 1st order. Not happy - I emailed and they did refund $88 for the 2nd order a so I was at least satisfied. THEN the package arrived in Atlanta and it has still not been found or delivered. 45 days from the day of the 1st order - NO BOOTS NO REFUND! What a joke! They said they opened an investigation on Dec 16th and it would take 7-10 days to resolve - I have begged them for help

I order a pair of boots for my husband for Christmas. He loves the boots but they ran a little small so I sent them back with instructions for an exchange and what size we needed. Instead of exchanging them, they refunded my money. I sent several inquiries about this and all I got was sorry for the miscommunication, did even offer to fix it. I called and asked a customer service representative about reordering the boots and she told me the boots were discontinued and there were none left in stock so I told her I would get on the website later and pick some different boots. I got on the website and those exact boots that I originally ordered were still on there so I called to place an order. When I gave her the item # of the original boots and the size I needed she said ok, next item I asked her if those boots had been discontinued like I was told earlier in the day and she said no and that she didn't know why I was told that. Needless to say, I placed my order on 2/2/21 it says they were shipped out the next day and guess what, it is now 2/13/21, no boots, the tracking isn't working and when I tried to track them through UPS with the UPS tracking number that Boot Barn gave me, UPS could not locate the shipment and now Boot Barn is telling me that it will take up to 10 days to investigate. Give me a reason to order here again
Bootbarn has crummy pictures and false descriptions. They also don't ship multiple item orders at once, even when coming from the same location. Annoying.

I ORDERED SOME BOOTS ONLINE TO BE DELIVERED TO A STORE IN CYPRESS, TX. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE IN KATY, TX. I WENT THERE TO FIND OUT THAT THEY SAID THAT THEY WERE AT THE CYPRESS STORE. THEY HAD NOT GOT TO THE STORE THEN CALLED THE COPOPRATE NUMBER, WAS TOLD THAT THE MATTER WOULD BE SOLVED. THREE WEEKS LATER I WAS STILL CHARGED. I NEVER GOT THE BOOTS AND NEVER RECEIVED A CALL FROM MANAGEMMENT AS PROMISED. I WILL GO BACK TO CAVENDERS THEIR SERVICE IS MUCH BETTER. SO LONG BOOT BARN. BE CARFUL BUYING FROM THIS BUSINESS!
We spend so much money here only to have our "rewards" expire so quickly that we can't ever use them. We buy everything from cowboy boots and cowboy hats to regular hats and wrangler jeans, belts and buckles, button up shirts and T shirts, wooden block to remove boots and hooks to put boots on etc etc. We recently bought our son a nice leather wallet with USA FLAG on it only to get home and find that it had a big hole in it from where they attached the security tag! I didn't return because Boot Barn is not close to home and with the price of gas it is not feasible not to mention the hassle! I work long hours this is the last thing I want to do on my ONE DAY OFF!
Back to rewards program: we haven't been able to use NOT ONE reward since joining years ago BECAUSE THEY EXPIRE WITHIN A MONTH OR TWO! This is exactly what they want! And It's the worst way to treat your loyal customers. 90% of all other retail stores we shop at DONT do this! They give A YEAR BEFORE REWARDS EXPIRE!
We'll be taking business elsewhere until this is changed. REWARDS SHOULD NOT EXPIRE! We EARNED THEM! Terrible way to treat customers, especially considering how overly priced/expensive everything is in your stores! It's the LEAST YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS! SMH nobody takes care of customers anymore.
The staff inside the store are friendly but the customer rewards program means their customer service is terrible.
