It's a Nice Pl., Dairy Queen and our room was a good size for the king size bed. However, we could hardly sleep because it was so hot even though the maintenance person had been there twice. We even called maintenance people early in the morning who came twice and couldn't fix it it was something about a loose wire or something. It's very hot. Finally someone from the hotel open the window for us the only way we survived until we checked out. There is a restaurant there but no breakfast was included except coffee and a muffin.
I was charged the Rate for the stay on my credit card that I could see for booking the hotel. A few days later when reviewing my account LaQuinta had charged me an additional $100.00. I left the room in good condition and didn't do any of the things that they add additional fees for my stay.
During booking the date continually changed to a date ahead of what wanted. Kept checking to be sure of date needed. Was sure had correct date and booked. When checked into hotel they had no record of it and i had to pay 2nd time for room. Discovered date was wrong. Will never use site again. Not affordable for retired person on fixed income.
Cold! No service.
Early in the evening, heater was blowing cold air. Call for service. Asked for blankets. They had none. Said someone would be up to check the unit. No one came. Had to sleep in my clothes to stay warm. Thin bed cover. There was only 1 towel for 2 people. Very spartan accomodations.
Did not make me aware of a deposit until I was checking in and my key had to be reset on 2nd day inconveniently with groceries in hand. Not that of a biggie but a big difference when other hotels have been without the littlest hickups.
I was leery at first as I never heard of this company. Then I did a little research & booked it. All went well. I called the hotel direct & they were $50 more a night! I save $150! Thanks BookingBargains!
I just wanted the cheapest price on a room after getting stranded at the airport overnight. Booking Bargains beat out Hopper and other competing offers on the SAME exact hotel room. Booking was quick and easy!
BookingBargains did give me a few dollars lower than others. The website first offered a 50% off the going rate, but the reservation could not go through. So, I wasted a 5-10 minutes hunting for the bargain.
Entered room and it had not been cleaned. Bed was not made. Food on the table. Garbage in ALL CANS. Had to call front desk. She came. It would of been nice if Hotel had comp the room considering all above.
I was doubtful of this site as I had never heard of it. So glad I took a chance as it was the easiest process. Got to hotel and had zero issues the check in was so simple.
I'll be visiting KY I May so hopefully this experience will repeat itself then.
I booked through their website, when I got to the hotel they had no room for me. I call they're number, the lady was nice and canceled my "reservation" and released my funds. I had ro look for new accomodation, which was hard on a Saturday in downtown Cincinnati.
I booked a hotel over a month in advance. I received confirmation. I called the hotel a few days before to ask for joining rooms. Turns out my booking was never completed. I called to let company know and customer service treated me like it was my fault. They were angry that I asked for a manager. Shameful.
I was booking the room for the advertised rate of $143, took me 2 minutes to enter my info and card information only to learn that the rate expired. That's just wrong to change the rate 30 seconds after advertised.
Five minutes after my booking was confirmed by email, I received a voicemail from someone claiming to be from your firm, stating that the reservation did not go through. Needless to say, I did not return the call. Looks like someone has hacked into your process.
I got exactly what I paid for! Good location, great customer service, great breakfast, and good room conditions. The WiFi was a little spotty but otherwise great experience.
Promotion claims able to cancel up to 48 hours before arrival but full credit card charge taken on booking. I hope that it will not be necessary to cancel. Should I need to I will report how long credit processing will take.
We booked a King size bed. When we arrived, the hotel said they didn't have any king beds available and didn't know why bookings would book one for us. The hotel said they had booked their last king bed more than 6 hours previous.
Booking bargains say they offer free cancellation, Untrue. I tried to cancel 50 minutes after booking. They said that they could not even though I had the confirmation right in front of me. I got my credit card bill in front of me and they charged it. 8-15-22 1:30 PM called and they hung up on me when I gave them the confirmation that they asked for. 8-15-22 1:35 pm called asked for a supervisor on hold. 8-15-22 at 1:42 someone picked up phone and with no talking put me back on hold. 8-15-22 at 1:52 again someone picked up the phone with no talking hung up the phone. 8-15-22 2:05 pm the phone was answered and the person on the other end said a supervisor for sure would call back within 15 minutes. It is now 3:09 pm and no call back.
Bookingbargins really screwed up our reservation and have yet to take ownership of the problem they created for us and econolodge idaho falls. We reserved through booking bargains, paid them the room rate and when we checked in their method of payment was denied as the credit card was refused. So we paid directly to motel to check in after a long day of travel. They have yet to issue us credit for what we paid them, giving one excuse after another and then trying to spin the blame on us! Promises to issue credit back to our card has yet to happen. I've learned about 3rd party reservations and found out that bookingbargins is part of Expedia. Beware! Do not use bookingbargins for your travel reservations.
Booked hotel for one night. Got to hotel said we arrived wrong day. Called and agent said if they could speak to hotel rep and email them the confirmation that I paid AGAIN for hotel they would refund me. Hotel spoke with them and got the email address and emailed them while I was standing there. Was told I would get refund in 7-14 days. I have called back so many times and done everything I've been told and 19 days later they still have NOT refunded me
