I reserved a hotel and had to suddenly cancel, when I was refunded I killed on the exchange. For Canadians I highly recommend doing business with a Canadian based company. Was so disappointed, will never use again ever.
I have been spammed today. I put a call back request to check the cancellation policy and I got an email stating the booking has been cancelled. I tried reaching and immediately I got a call asking me to add my card details in Booking.com app to process a refund as my booking got cancelled. They asked me to download some app which they claimed to be a booking.com's supporting app and they took control of my phone without my knowledge and were watching whatever activities I was doing on my phone. I realized and Uninstalled the supporting app and they started using abusive language in hindi when I uninstalled the app.
I insist Booking.com to look into this as the customer's data is being hacked using the app and website.
Although the home was fine the beds were unsleepable. One was so hard the springs poked through the thin plastic mattress, the Queen bed was so soft that we purchased mattress toppers for both to even be able to sleep on them. I was told that mattresses were subjective and they would do nothing. For the $876.00 that I paid I believe you could expect a comfortable bed.
Decided to use Booking.com after reading Frommers recent review showing them in number 1 position. For me, Booking.com was terrible. After first pass attempting to purchase 4 air tickets to Cabo San Lucas the system returned a message stating the seats I selected were no longer available after my payment was in the the processing stage, I even went through the ID verification process with my bank. After the message on the seats no longer being available came through I selected OK, and it returned to the main screen, not retaining any of my information even passengers... So I gave it a second try, re-entered dates, passengers, etc. and the system jumped out of seat selection after choosing first two passengers seat leaving my second two passengers with out seats selected. I found not ability to go back and correct this, so I went back to the search criteria and again, all information lost. This time after entering dates, etc. prices magically jumped up 80.00 a ticket, entered all my passenger data again for the third time, and this time when I got to seat selection no free seats were available anymore, all seats were now pay seats were previous attempts had plenty of free seats to choose from. Gave up and went to the AA site and purchased the tickets directly with no issues and the price ended up being cheaper than what Booking was showing. Not impressed with Booking.com, they must have purchased that first paostion with Frommers.
Booked a room no confirmation sent had to contact hotel to confirm which they did then tried cancelling customer service were appalling just kept asking for code and pin I end they took the park meant without my consent then cancelled direct with hotel and have now had to issue a writ
Two hours before we should checkin our booking got cancelled. We are stuck at the airport. Called the hotel, they confirmed they are double book we need to sort it with Bookings.com.

Dreadful service, appalling telephone call handlers, and flights were cancelled - on the third time I telephoned the help number. A person whose first, second and third languages were not English asked a series of unrelated questions, missed the point entirely but then decided the cancellations must have been due to '... a poor internet connectivity...'. I asked how I made a complaint. After a while I gave up - I will not use these incompetents again.
We canceled our booking on 20 October. Booking.com refused to refund us tell us cancelation was late.

Booking.com FILTERS do NOT work. You choose hotels, you get hoStels, with SHARED BATHROOM?! They are quick to take your money but, if you need to cancel a flight TWO MONTHS IN ADVANCE, they refuse the refund and direct you to the airline. Yuk! They allow hotels with a shady cancellation policy to get their way: keep pay for a whole week, despite efforts to cancel since September for December! In short, booking.com got too big for their britches!
I booked a two night stay in Myrtle Beach with my family! The Resort they booked me at The Grande Resort was horrible! The whole stay we didn't have hot water, and the pool was closed! It was disgusting! The broilers were broke! I Called Booking.com and they couldn't get up with anyone! Just ruined my husbands birthday! I paid $300.00 and they refunded me $24.00! Never again
I was locked out of this Paris property at 62 rue Olivier de Serre, after booking.com took a lot my money in advance. I arrived there after a 12 hour flight, tired, dragging luggage up five flights only to have been given the wrong code for the lockbox key. Three people in the building tried to help, all gave up. I tried all the contacts I was given for desperate help--all phone #s were bogus. After 1 1/2 hours trying to get in, I had to find a place to lay my head. I may never again use booking.com based on this horrible experience. I was stranded in Paris with no recourse. Why was I locked out of the property I paid dearly for? Who knows. I had booked this studio for ten days, hoping to prepare my food there. But instead I had to find hotels and move 4 times over the course of my stay. I can understand a wrong code, but I can't understand not being able to get help, promised help. To add insult to injury, I got a request to rate my stay --- at a place I was never able to enter! Go figure. Never again.

Be careful with this site! They can take your money not legal and never refund. Like it happened to me. They took 775€ for canceled reservation and promised to refund but didn't do so.
Very upset and disappointing as Booking.com has canceled our stayed at a very last min. On the day of our stay with no valid reason. I demand my full tefund ASAP.
Booking.Com site is not good at all. It promises cheap hotel prices and when you have to pay at the hotel you need to pay more than what they advertise. Never use this site. It is better to book directly from the hotel. FYI I stayed at Grand Mercure Hotel Singapore for two nights.
Do not trust this website. No refunds for hideous hotels. Despite the advertisement being completely inaccurate. I checked out of a hotel I booked using bookings.com after only 1 1/2 days out of a 5 day stay. Local prostitution on the street. Gunfire at night. Sirens throughout the day. They had a gate to the parking area, not because it's safe there. It wasn't. Terrible hotel, and bookings.com won't do anything.
Do not trust them with your business. I will never use them again.
The place was in one location and the keys in another location. No hot water, many broken stuff. I file a complaint with booking. Booking told me, if the property wants to give you a refund they will, well, they didn't and booking did nothing about it. All they said, you can leave a review. Booking is there just to collect their money, and what ever problem you might have is between you and the property. Never again using booking.com.

It is already 25 booking last 2 month all goes well. You just need to know when doing payment with card use the same card in the hotel so not to dabble charged
So after booking a room through booking.com the day before I set off on my trip I received an ad email from them not at other company but booking.com about my same room had a price drop of $40. I contacted customer service via email from 8:00 in the morning to 6:00 at night it was total email correspondence at 6:00 I guess they got tired of corresponding and they blocked both of my emails so I can no longer correspond with them. On their web page it shows that they do a price match well it's not a price match if it comes from your company and you send it to me. I will never use booking.com again nor will I refer them to anybody. I'm going to finish my trip through them and never book with them again.
Search a "mco airport hotel" do it, it will come up with "legacy vacations" as the first result. After you book it though, it will inform you that this hotel is in fact in kissimee, 35 minutes from the airport with no shuttle. OK no big deal, you just booked it, call the hotel and cancel the booking. The hotel tells you to call booking.com, booking.com tells you to call the hotel, do this until In a circle for 2 weeks until you eventually resign yourself to being charged FULL price for a hotel you will not even be able to stay at, extend stay at airbnb and resolve to leave for the airport earlier. Manager Alex and customer Drake were absolutely useless today. I'm celebrating my birthday. Entrusted booking.com to assist me. Booked for 4 ladies will in advance. Now I'm unable to get help. Hotel accommodations are horrible! Water leaking from the shower, holes in the walls and the offer, assistance is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I've emailed, called and everything all to no AVAIL. NEVER AGAIN. Answer: In my case they took my payment information and paid the hotel where I was going to be staying. Only to find out that the hotel was out of business and I had to prove that it was charged to my account. They did not find me a replacement hotel to stay in for the same price. Nor did they care that I was left without a place to stay. So beware before you purchase.

When you check into your hotel, it's billed to your Bookings.com reservation plus incidentals (local calls, parking fees, resort fees, dining, bar fees, Europe charges local or city tax, spa fees...) the hotel will ask for a card as a hold for these fees. Use bookings.com, find the hotel you wish to stay in (get all info and contact them directly via website and price match) the Marriott in Rome had a room for $80.00 less on the Marriott website than these, so called MONEY SAVING SITES.
