Scam
May 25, 2021

I ordered 2 polo shirts last June and paid with a credit card. I use the card for most everything and have several automatic payments that come out monthly. I canceled the card recently and went through the monthly bills and noticed a recurring payment for $14.97 each month. I called Blair and the agent explained I had signed up for free shipping on future orders for this price each month. I didn't sign up for any such thing. I asked for my money back and was promised a full refund.

They charge crazy fees. If you get behind they offer to work with you but you are still charge late fees making impossible to catch it up and pay off the account. Not worth it. Stay away from the buy now pay later catalogs.

I have purchased clothing from Blair Clothing since 2014. Although their clothing is comparable in price in stores the convenience of receiving merchandise at your door is a plus. What I did not like is that although I did a trial of their VIP program I was unaware that there is no way to cancel this service. They automatically enroll you in the program which is supposed to give you free shipping but at a cost of $15 per month the saving are a wash unless you purchase something every week. When I attempted to cancel out of this service I received friendly assurances that this would take place but in reality all of this went to the wayside and I continue to be dunned for a program I tested in 2014. It is now 2017. Which means it has cost me $720 during that time to save on 12 purchases. So it has cost me $60 in shipping in handling by participating in this program for each of the 12 purchases I made.

Stay away
May 12, 2019

Wanted to order a $30 item. They charged $15 for shipping. Imagine charging 50% of the price of a pair of pajamas for shipping. Customer service representative asked me to pay $2 extra to ensure a rapid response if they sent me the wrong item. First time anybody has asked me to pay in advance for their mistake.

I bought two tops from Blair and when I got them I didn't like them. I returned the items it took two weeks for them to issue a partial credit 32.00 to my credit card and it wasn't for full amount. Then the credit card company said I needed to make a payment of 22.00 for something I don't have and they charge 2.00 interest and they threatened to charge me a late fee if I didn't make the payment. I had to pay it or it would report it as bad debt. Recommend do not try a Blair credit card or even buy from Blair and customer service is the worst.

I placed the original order on 6/8/2022. Everything showed in stock. They shorted the order by one item. After multiple calls and listening to a bunch of excuses, I received an e-mail stating that my item had shipped. It was shipped by DHL on 6/13/2022. A week later I still do not have the item and it was shipped from Mableton Georgia which is only two hours up the road from here. The tracking shows it has not moved since it arrived at DHL. I received another e-mail saying it was to be delivered on 6/18/2022. It did not arrive and still shows it has not moved since it was given to DHL. These fools make the post office look like express service! When I inquired about it not being delivered, I received an e-mail stating that I needed to wait until 6/27/2022 to see if it will be delivered (?). When I called again to investigate what was going on I was once again sent the land on broken English and heavy accents. I asked to speak to a supervisor in the United States, and was transferred again. After a long wait, I was answered by a recording that said they could not take my call and to leave a message and someone would call me back. I am still waiting for a call back from the same place on 6/10/2022. These folks are the biggest joke I have ever have the unpleasant task of dealing with. They take your money with no problems, but they just can't seem to deliver the merchandise they sell, nor can they deliver proper customer service. The only saving grace was I used PayPal, so I know I will get my money back. Buyer beware, stay far away from Blair.

I ordered a sweatsuit on August 8,2020, for a total of $28.47. When I received it, it did not fit. I returned it and asked for another size, which they also did not have.So I asked for a refund and will only received $11.07. When I asked why, I was told they charge that much for using their return label.

9/5/19 Just got off the phone with customer service. After reading all the bad reviews, i wanted to give them a benefit of a doubt. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, they are very dishonest people trained to scam. I wanted to verify that they had exactly what i wanted so i didn't run into RETURN issues.
OMG!
Wanted a power pressure cooker xl 10qt. Which was marked down to $ 127.99 plus free shipping.
This woman came back with a total of $206.13
Prior, she had tried to convince me to open up a credit card, n charge it for the purchase.
PLEASE BE AWARE!
All them bad REVIEWS are true.

I was sent a partial refund for an order and charged for shipping after I was told that I wouldn't be. The items I received wasn't as described the item I ordered was cargo shorts 20 inches long for a 6 foot 1 400lb male and the items I got was Jean shorts with 1 pocket that fit me a 5 ft 7 200lb female and was too short on me! I called customer service and was treated so rudely I will never order from this company again and will make sure to tell my family the same!

I looked at knit tops on their website. Site said they're on sale. On looking closer, only the smaller sizes we're discounted. The larger sizes were NOT listed as unavailable or out of stock. I could order them but I would have had to pay full price. I emailed Blair about this because there were several different items of clothing that sale prices were only listed on the smaller sizes. Their NON-response was some styles and colors are more popular and sell out quickly. I responded that wasn't the case on what I looked at and several different items were listed as being on sale but the only sale prices were on small sizes. I even took screen shots of their website and included them in my email communication to prove my point. Their response was to stand by their original statement…which did nothing to answer or try to fix their discriminatory policy. If you look closely at the attached photo you can see the sale price only applies to smaller sizes. On larger sizes the regular price has a mark through it and listed below is the sale price and on the larger sizes, the regular and sale prices are the same. I gave them 1 star because there isn't an option for -10.

Another one where I wish I'd read the reviews. It was a month of trying new online shopping ventures. This was one of the mistakes. Like others have noted here, returning anything is a nightmare. Cancelling an order immediately after submission must be worse (though I was assured it was NOT an issue). Several phone calls (with promises of resolution but none forthcoming); Close to a dozen emails (with polite responses but no resolution, promises to pass it on AND another advising me to call PAYPAL or my bank for help); Two online chats with PAYPAL followed; after which, I notified BLAIR that hey had to VOID the order from their end. They told me to fax a statement from my bank showing the transaction was pending (I'd already sent a copy)... It was finally resolved after I emailed them a copy of my chat from PAYPAL which provided instructions on how to process this sort of transaction. I finally got my refund today. Whew! I will stick with my usual vendors. I've been having good luck with Groupon lately. I'll save that review for later. :)

I ordered a huge amount of clothes for my mother as a gift for Christmas. A month later in the New Year, my mom has yet to receive the clothes. I live in a different place then my mother so her name, her shipping address are different than my name and my billing address. So I called Blair. The customer service representative informed me that the order had been "flagged" because the shipping address was different than the billing address. She went on to say that they had sent me a letter in the mail. I never received a letter. Quite frankly, this is 2018. They have my email address and my phone number. They did not use either. So it seems that my order was in limbo and if I had never called them, I am guessing that my mother would have never received the items. There was no apology. I explained that this was a gift and that in 2017/2018 that many online clothing places will let a person order and ship anywhere. This is pretty standard. The customer service representative got pretty huffy with me and just asked if I still wanted the items processed. I explained I was pretty upset and was considering cancelling the whole order. The customer service representative basically didn't care. There was no offer of free shipping to send the items out straight away. There was no offer of even 10% off my next order. NOTHING. I am pretty dumbfounded. How is this place still in business?

The styles are for pregnant looking people or old ladies on nursing homes. The cotton items shrink and long sleeves are too short. Styles horrible.

I ordered four medium size fleece suits from them and on one set the jacket was marked medium but it was the wrong size. I could fit two of me in it. Return it with a note explaining and I wanted an exchange but instead they refund it and charge me $9.99 for shipping it back. It was their fault NOT MINE that it was the wrong size but customer service didn't want to hear that. I was a first byer and also THE LAST. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. TERIBBLE ALL AROUND

Placed an order, came wrong size. Returned item. Had to call to check on return status. Person on phone said item no longer available in larger size from that catalog. Ordered same item in another catalog which happened to be on sale at half price. Placed order for one item and was offered a second at %15 off price. Both items came to $28.40. I also had a $10 customer coupon. So my total was told to me to me $18.40. My bill came and I was charged $87.77!. I had mailed in my payment for the $18.40 as I was quoted and was fined a late fee of $27.00. Got that removed by their bank, Commenity Bank. I was sent a replacement item for the one that was originally stopped due to not being available right after the new order was placed! I had to return that item now and get a refund. I have made countless phone calls not only to Blair catalog but also to their bank/billing company only to get hung up on or transferred and hung up on or to get someone who cannot speak English. Generally I h ave found that the items I have ordered have been very satisfactory, but their customer service is a total joke. A company is only as good as its customer service, so this says a lot when, if I could, would rate it as a zero! The catalog part does not communicate with the bank and vise versa... and their options menu when you call can leave you trying over and over for hours to get a live person to talk to... if they speak English or actually care to get your question resolved. Put this company at the bottom of your list to shop at. There are many others who are much better.

NEVER AGAIN! Color washes out everytime I go swimming! Awful! Was bright pink like my shorts. Almost white now!
